Charles HStaff was great. Very helpful and got us on our way quickly, Location was dirty, van was parked in weed infested dirt lot. Van had windows rolled down for for possibly days because the inside was dusty and dirty. Windshield was filthy and there was no windshield washer fluid to clean the windshield. Had less than a 1/4 tank of gas as well. Great staff but filthy van. If the van was a bit cleaner I would have recommended to others.
Brian BHad a reservation to pick up at this location, but when I arrived they told me they did not have my reservation at this location but one down the road. I pulled up the last email from Uhaul to prove to him it was his location. He seemed irritated and that he didn't want to be bothered. No please, thank you, or politeness etc. There was one younger man who helped process the transaction and he was fine and kind, but he older gentleman was rude and dismissive. Out of the ordinary for Uhaul, usually I have a good experience.

CLAYTON DThe interaction with the agent was good but, unfortunately, the equipment had a major flaw on the back door that was overlooked while renting it out which caused major hassles and jumping many hoops to make sure the move happened as planned. Uhaul, however, managed it masterfully and made it happen for me. One of the best customer service I ever received through Uhaul's roadside assistance!

Kieren MThe location was difficult to access because the UHaul was parked on a raised planter bed above the sidewalk and definitely not on/part of the street. It took a lot of maneuvering to get it off and we had to ask someone to move their car. Definitely not easy. We also recieved a different dolly than the one we ordered and paid for, and a worker nearby was unable to provide us with the one we paid for. The UHaul itself was great but the location and execution/service were not.

She was very helpful and we completed the process on Uhaul.com. The truck did the job, but the driver’s window did not roll up and down and there was significant vibration from the front brakes while descending steep grades.

Simon MThis was the worst customer experience I have ever had. The manager refused to check me in, which resulted in a 50 minute phone call with customer support in order to complete my check in. The location did not provide the pads I ordered, the truck had garbage in the cab, and the tires were completely bald. The condition of the car was unacceptable, and Casey’s garage was awful to work with. I will go out of my way and be happy to pay far more money to use any other company but U-Haul.

Peter BThe truck needs to seriously be taken off the road. It is very unsafe. Shakes at 20 mph and on fwy it is shaking and drifting to one side. Truck needs to be serviced. When I dropped off I let the employee know to test drive it to see for themselves.

DANIEL MI wish there was something between "yes" and "no" above. That is, the location was full of trucks and hard to park, but employee helped me. Then said I was good to go without a receipt. I said I really wanted a receipt, so he said it would be a wait. No problem, but I wanted to be sure I wasn't charged anything more as I knew I complied with contract. I waited and finally got it.

Sammy ACasey’s Garage in Goleta CA took care of me very quickly and explained the truck thoroughly. In comparison to the Uhaul Location who “guaranteed” me that the day of reservations were all taken (even with them being available online) as well as told me there wasn’t any locally to find, it took my five min yes to search for others which is how I landed with Casey’s Garage. I give ONE STAR to the Uhaul off of hollister in Santa Barbara and give FIVE STARS to the little hole in the wall mechanics shop Casey’s in comparison. Thanks to them, I have been moved successfully and am enjoying my new place with all my stuff.
LUCAS AThe person greeting me was very rushed and just wanted to grab the vehicle even before I could get my stuff out. It would have been better if he identified himself more clearly and also provided some sort of receipt. He just wanted the key which made me very wary.

Theresa CI am extremely unhappy with my experience. My pickup location was changed three times and then on my way to pick up the uhaul the morning of my move they told me I had to pick up a Uhaul two and a half hours away in the opposite direction of my new home. I eventually was able to find a Uhaul in my area and the man who gave me the keys literally waved in my face and said he did not want to talk to the uhaul representative on the phone who was trying to confirm the pick up.

Michael LI would like to discuss my recent trip with U-haul. First of all, I reserved a 20” truck originally. And I have email confirmation says I can pick up the truck at Casey’s Garage Monday at 10AM. However, when I get there, the owner told me there was no 20” truck which I believe this is the problem caused by either the U-haul company or the Casey’s Garage. I tried to call your company that morning, but no one is answering. Your irresponsible behavior caused me to pay extra money and along with wasting of my time. I would like to have an explanation for why I cannot have my original reservation. Let me know how you guys want to solve this.

Julie PYou can refund me the fee for the terrible service I have received. This is not a bout the Casey’s garage location. It’s about 4417 Hollister street that let me down I was let down and No truck was bailable as reserved , I lost time and was overcharged for services I did not receive. I had to go to another location to get a truck I demand and adjustment and reimbursement of cnarges . I even called in today and the girl who answered the call couldn’t care less to help me sort this matter. I asked for a manager Abel and he apperentlybwas out for lunch and supposed to call me back, he never called me back Very bad service, I want my money back ASAP Regards
Bettina BThe worst experience I’ve had. A three hour rental turned to 2 days of phone calls about payment. Offered to just pay the bill 3 times, however, you guys needed to make it more of a hassle. Customer service was ill informed and overall not helpful.

Marvin FYesterday, U-haul wasted 6 hours of my night, and my two friends' nights as well as caused annoyances to 60 residents that include old people and a lady who just got out of the hospital. Long story short, the U-haul company gave me a GMC key and a Ford truck. I ordered a 10 foot truck and was given a 15 foot truck. I am not an expert in truck and no U-haul customer should be expected to know the details about a 10 or 15 foot truck. There was only one available truck at the pick up location, so I DEFINITELY did not pick up the wrong one by mistake. However they gave me the wrong key, probably the key of the 10 foot truck that was supposed to be given to me. We didn't realize they gave me the wrong truck and key... I was able to drive it from the U-haul station to my apartment with the WRONG KEY. How crazy is that? When I got tloaded everything and wanted to drive to my new apartment, the truck did not want to turn on. We kept trying to turn on the truck forever, we spent hours and hours on the phone with U-haul and roadside assistance. At the end, they realized I had the wrong key... They decided the truck needs to get towed. I unloaded everything AGAIN and put it all up in my apartment that is located on the 3rd floor without elevator. Can you imagine all the pain for nothing??? And finally we had to wait until 1:30am to get the truck towed and they needed me to be there so I could not do anything last night and wasted time, energy and money. I even had to take an UBER to the U-haul pick up location since I left my car there.
