The only employee was very friendly and helpful but too much going on running a gas station/convince store and act as a rental agent. Truck was very low on fuel but was reported to have 1/2 tank. Although discussed was not corrected. Unable to provide contract at time of pickup due to internet issues. Again, employee did her best to provide a good experience but seems to be setup to fail. Truck also had terrible brakes as rear brakes appeared to be saturated in gear oil from leaking axle seals.
todd mDon't advertise you can get dollies and stuff from the location and then tell the customer at the last minute that they can't get it and then send them all over town chasing one that won't give it up

STEVEN BU-Haul contacted me the day before my rental and promised me the moon if I would pick up the truck at 32nd St and then return it to Cave Creek, my move would have been less than 10 miles total if I could have picked it up on Indian School, 1/2 mile from my house, but they promised to reduce the daily and mileage charges and throw in a furniture dolly and blankets, so I took the deal. I did not get a furniture dolly and they still charged me for gas...17.5 miles of my 28 total miles was for delivering their truck! Why was I charged $30 for gas I would not have used?
Keith SThe truck smelled so strongly of cigarettes smoke it gave me a headache. The engine made a whining sound that made the headache into a migraine. It was a horrible experience!

ANTONIO RI gave cashier the keys they didn't look over the truck with me. Said after check in, I would get an email. Then I had to call uhaul on hold almost an hour to get the equipment rental fees returned since the dolly I rented wasn't in the truck. I don't recommend pickup through the app.
MISTY BMaybe have more gas in the truck than less than quarter tank. I had to do this one way rental by myself at 75 Yrs old. Nice truck, U-Haul got me two movers guys that were wonderful.
MAUREEN CI had selected an alternative location for the drop off. I received a call during my drive to Arizona asking if I would be ok with returning the vehicle to the location above. I was told it was only 6 miles from the location I had selected so agreed. When I went to return the truck I realized it was not six miles, it was much further and took me 40 minutes to get there. Once I arrived there, the person working really had no idea what to do. I had unused boxes, and pads I was told I would be able to return. The worker told me she would be unable to handle the return and I would have to take the items to a different location. I was not in a vehicle which had space for the items. Long story short, if you are going to ask someone to change locations, give the client all of the information. Had I been given all the information I would have done things differently and not lost a big part of my day driving to a far off location and on the phone trying to sort out what to do with the truck and equipment. It was a horrible experience. The people I spoke with on the phone from U-Haul were very nice and worked with me to resolve the issues, but I should have never been put into that situation.
Derek DWe had a confirmed reservation at one location and were sent to a satellite location. We didn’t receive the dolly which I paid for and the front tire was low and had to be filled up continuously through our trip.

Brandon CI did not originally book to pick up at this location. I was called and asked by a Uhaul rep to pick up from here instead because they needed to move a truck. I go to this location to pick it up and the employee had no idea what I was talking about and refused to give me the keys unless I agreed to bring it back here. She was rude and unprofessional. Uhaul also did not update any information about my booking that they changed to make any of this process easier. Uhaul if you're going to ask a customer to go out of their way to move a truck for YOU instead of sending YOUR PAID EMPLOYEES to go and pick it up on the clock like you very well could do, you need to make sure the process is as streamlined as possible. Don't make me argue with a gas station employee over the details of my contract.

Paul HThey way over charge me stating I went 750 miles in 3 hours and charged me for that I drove it 62.7 miles that's it. It is impossible to drive 750 miles in 3 hours. It's a u haul van not a plane. The drop off was very confusing and the lady didn't do anything besides take the keys to the van and write down the time idropped it off. Now I have to fight to get my $300 plus back from these people. Will be contacting my bank as a fraudulent charge if this isn't fixed asap. I have a picture of the milage when I dropped it off. So angry right now. Feel like I've been stolen from which is because I have.

Esther RThe app dropped me out of the initial process, when I called for the key code, the key was not in the locker. No blankets that I ordered were in the truck when I ordered and had to go to another location to get some. I was not happy about the service.

Marcellus CThe truck quick would not start before the move was completed. I'm not a mechanic, but I couldn't start it. The movers who were helping me couldn't start it. The manager of the storage facility couldn't start it. There were two tech's assigned. The first one couldn't get it to start either. The second one didn't even try to find any starting issues while I was there. He just hooked up the truck and towed it away. But then U-Haul came back to me and said "Good Day BRANDON. We have looked at the roadside file from the assigned tech. He has stated he couldn't find a starting issues at the time he arrived to equipment." So they want to bill me for a truck that stopped working on me, and one that I had to spend hours dealing with their roadside assistance to get returned.
Brandon HI went to pick up the u-haul truck that I rented for 7 am. The store manager couldn't find the keys to any of the trucks . It took well over an hour to find the keys and get me checked out. When you live Arizona that's precious time because of the heat. I will Never go there again.

Michael KTime - had to wait 20 minutes for them to hel someone else when I had already done the checkin online, and then there were issues (Http 503 service unavailable) so the code texted to me didn't work. Overall I left the location after 40 minutes.
Maureen WI returned the truck here after UHaul called me to change the location. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN. You shouldn't call me to change my drop off location.

Dana HThe can of the uhaul had crumbs/dirt across much of the cab floor. It rained heavily on us all day during the move and the rain with the crumbs made for a very dirty floor. The truck was in good condition and Marilynn at your phone service center was great!

James CJustin at the 76 gas station didn't have anything ready when we were supposed to have a contactless check out of truck. He also didn't fix phone number in file when we gave it to him which was really bad in contacting us. The truck was dirty and we didn't have code for lock on back of truck and no one to get in contact with also. Terrible service
Rebecca WI was contacted to return the vehicle and get a refund of $30.00 if dropped off at this location with 1/4 tank of gas remaining. When I arrived the store really had no idea what was going on. The associate couldn’t leave the store until another associate was there. I was then charged $180.00 instead of any refund. Then I called back to dispute the charge and 1.5 weeks later still no refund. Not happy with UHAUL and actually never am. So I guess my expectations should have been lower.
Edward MI'd stay away from this place I drove little over 3 Mi they charged me for 37 and they said that was the minimum miles so $25 had to pay just for going 3 miles. I would just go to a regular U-Haul place they don't do that to you
Eric EMake sure communication is clear. If the customer says something that could mean more than one thing, make sure you understand completely what the customer is saying. I dropped by on a Wed to ask if I could pick the truck up early. I should have said, can I pick up the truck early on Friday. The clerk assumed I meant I wanted to pick it up on Wed. The lack of clarity on what I wanted caused a major issue. I admit that I wasn't clear, but the clerk did not ask what day and time did I want to pick up the truck. When I arrived, the truck I reserved was not available. Fortunately they had a smaller truck that worked out OK.
Claudia GHonesty about the fuel gauge. I got the truck with an 1/8 of tank of gas and they said it was full on pick up. I drove it for 20 miles...how can I go through that much gas in that distance Now they are charging me almost 200 for fuel. Total ripoff and scam . I was loyal to U-Haul but after this never again . I am also telling my friends and the BBB.

BARHAMDEV YThe young lady that helped me check in was super sweet and did everything she could to make it easy and cheap as possible. Turning in, the gentleman made me feel like a priority. My time was important to him. Very good experience. Highly recommended.
Nicholas LYour whole system of picking up/ dropping off stinks!! Your "neighborhood" lots are dirty, unkept, uneducated in how to attach the trailers/lights and all their hours of operation are inconsistant so, if we dont ger to our destinarion in time, we have to drop off at another location a half hour away! Dint think we will EVER use U Hayl again!!!!

David MI was charged for the uhaul and when I went to pick up an item with the uhaul it had a padlock on the back so I want able to even get the item I needed. On top of that I had to put $40 in gas for nothing! Really hope I can get a refund.
Steven ESo confusing to find. Not labeled as it should be. The other uhaul next to mine was over the parking line and the employee offered no assistance getting out. There were two cars parked behind me. Terrible experience.

Kathy SPlace was a little hard to find. Maybe indicate in the email/text message that it is located in the vicinity of the gas station that it shared a lot with. I also was unaware that there was a key drop box. Maybe mention that in the email/text as well.
Guadalupe CTruck that was reserved was NOT available -- had to take a smaller truck. That Neighborhood Location did not carry any moving items for purchase or rent, i.e. blankets, dolly, boxes, etc. which I had originally requested. Luckily a U-Haul supervisor phoned while I was there and offered to send a $50 credit for inconvenience. NOT A CONVENIENT LOCATION FOR RENTAL WITHOUT NECESSITIES. SHOULDN'T RESERVE TRUCKS IF NOT AVAILABLE FOR HIRE !!!!

ERIC BI am going to be honest and say that I reserved a pickup online but when I went to pick it up there was no pickup. All that was there was one U-Haul it was a box truck which is not what I wanted but I had to take it because I only had a certain short amount of time. Plus it was at night and it was an area that absolutely needs more lighting for safety and because quite a few people just hanging around the wall. But the people who were working at the store were pretty cool and I was able to get the U-Haul in less than an hour or two later. I'm not sure if I was charged for the bigger truck, if I was, it would be nice to have known because it wasn't what I reserved. If you take anything from this just remember more lighting.
jennifer mWe used U-Haul not too long ago and had a way better experience. This location had poorly trained staff and not helpful people at all. When calling to ask their supervisor about issues all they did was complain about their personal drama which was so unnecessary and it took an additional hour to even get the car to begin with. Besides that the hall was graffitied so looked super unprofessional!! Not a good location at ALL!
