Agent screwed up and gave me a return trip truck rental contract instead of a one-way trip after I repeated twice that it was supposed to be one-way. My friend was with me to follow me in my own car back to the house and also witnessed the entire conversation with the agent. I had to beg my friend to give me another ride back from the original location since I would have been charged over $200 more if I left it at a different U-Haul location. I have been a loyal customer for decades, and never had any problems previously until this incident. I never received any correspondence from the field manager Ron Bielak after contacting the rental department twice about the rental issue. U-HAUL STAFF CONDUCT WAS UNACCEPTABLE, AND U-HAUL WILL NO LONGER RECEIVE ANY MORE BUSINESS FROM ME. I WILL ALSO REPORT MY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH U-HAUL ONLINE.

CHRISTINA Mtruck was pretty beat, seat uncomfortable, engine transmission was weird, too. But it worked for the minimal miles driven. Having booked a truck from your Apache Blvd location nearby last week, which was a much nicer, cleaner, in better repair 20' truck, I just thought THAT was the standard. Anyway, it worked.

BEVERLY HI just thought I would have gotten some money back since we returned it earlier than the 5 days. We rented it on Friday at 3:40 and returned at 12:45 ish on Sunday.
CHARLIE BThese guys are just starting out. They are trying really hard. I think UHaul has given them very little training. I bet they are pretty good in 6 months. Right now they are struggling. They have a hard time with the app, issues with imputing info, connectivity, telling the customer to look for a text to verify the condition of the equipment BEFORE leaving the parking lot and having it expire… etc.
