The Cedar Closet U-Haul rental is THE BEST! We go out of our way to rent there. It is worth the extra mileage. The staff is over the top kind. Truck was warmed up, de-snowed and ready to go.

The tread depth on the two front tires on the trailer were unacceptable and less than the minimum tread depth. One of the tires went flat before I even started left town for my trip. I have pictures of the tread depth and gauge if needed. Other than that, the trailer was clean on the inside and the trailer pulled without issue.

The manager at cedar closet is one of the rudest people I've ever spoke to. He decided to call me the day after I returned my equipment to inform me that he kindly didn't charge me for parking the truck right exactly back where I picked it up from. But there's some unspoken rule about where to drop off the U-Haul equipment when using the rideshare app. However nothing on the app ever told me that I couldn't put the truck right back where I picked it up from. How fucking rude. I've been a U-Haul customer for 15 years and I have never had anybody be so rude to me.

The rwnt me for $19.95 plastered o er your trucks is false advertising. The only way to rent that truck for that price is to sit in the uhaul parking lot with it. I needed a pick up for 1 hour to take some woid to the dump. It cost me $60. I won't use you deceptive services again.

Mike was outstanding and great to deal with. The truck was old and beat up. Since it was local I didn't care all that much. Right after unloading and getting ready to return the battery died. Mike tried to help but nobody was available. I tried my own jumper cables as I had another vehicle there. I then had to call roadside assistance. It took 15 minutes to get through and pass on my information. After 30 more minutes they called back to tell me they couldn't find anybody. Luckily I had the second vehicle and the cables still attached as the truck did start. What the heck was I supposed to do after almost an hour in the cold if I didn't fix it myself. Horrible service. I am so disappointed in Uhaul.

My experience with the whole process was great. The only thing I can personally say is where I was moving to does not have good internet reception so I could not respond back on emails that were sent to me very easily.. but did find a drop off location with someone there vs online..

Rented the cargo van for an out of state move of elderly mother who had been living in my home, was a perfect size and easy drive. Getting in was difficult for her so we brought a sturdy step stool to make it safe and easier.

Ordered a 17' truck the day I was to pick it up they told me the 17' truck was not dependable and I had to take a 15' causing me to incur 2 additional hours for movers and additional time on the truck. The 6x12 trailer they gave me had a slow leak in one of the tires and I had to refill it several times during the 1100 mile trip. I worried about the whole trip.

The process of picking the truck up electronically was more time consuming than I thought. I wish I would have been told to give an extra 30 minutes above what I thought I would need for the pickup process. Other than that I thought it was a great experience.

You can make a MASSIVE improvement in your customer service department. The employee on location was amazing but I couldn't get your mobile pickup to verify my information, just endlessly loses for over an hour. We were on location for over an hour and on the phone waiting for a rep for 45 minutes. Terrible experience with YOUR SOFTWARE AND CUSTOMER RESPONSE TIME, not with the location listed. They were great. I WILL NOT BE USING U-HAUL FOR MY NEXT MOVE. Figure it out leadership! Inexcusable.

I had a reservation for a U-Haul in Ann Arbor and received a call the day before saying I had to go to this location in Howell to pick up my truck. It was 25 miles away. It was an inconvenience, but the truck was in good condition. They gave me an extra 50 miles for the trip, but it should've been more, as I went over by six.

The process to rent a truck after hour is not smooth enough. Your system relies on location service from the customer's phone. This does not always work. I could not get that step to work until I download your application. That was a very bad experience. Review the steps again and find how to improve it.
