The pick up was very confusing . Would be easier if a person were present with keys.

Have someone there during business hours And the fact that when the keys were locked in the truck and I tried to call the corporate office to let them know this happened by accident no one was available to speak with and it kept dropping my call.

The truck was covered in ice from a storm 2 days before pickup he didnt verify drop off location. Drop off location was Columbus, Ohio 2 hours away. Not what we reserved.

Honestly was the worst experience all around. Was supposed to pick up truck in Elyria at 8am but store never opened until 915. After an hour of waiting though I contacted CS who switched truck to different location. When I arrived I found out the CSR made my pickup for 945 so I once again had to call cs for help. 2nd location was get to go after cs hiccup. Would use that location again.

The equipment wasn't filthy, but it was not “clean” in the cab. Not bad for a rental truck I guess. The lock on the box to get the key out did not open well at all. Had to call and all they did was tell us to try what we already did. After resetting the code several time, pulling and banging on the lock, it finally opened. All the steps you have to go through to pickup and dropping the truck with the photos and everything are very cumbersome. I will not use that process again. It was 30 minutes into my rental window before we were able to leave the parking lot.

I spoke to angie over the phone at the call center she never told me there was a 60 dollar hold just renting a dolly and seemed like she was in a rush didnt care what i had to say as long as she had the reservation. When we got to the location in North Ridgeville Barbara was a doll and helped us through everything and explained everything. Barbara made this experiance great.... ??

Get rip of your online pickup app! I does not work, if the representative had not been in the office that morning I do not know what I would have done!

Pay attention to what your customer orders. Especially on a Sunday when your storage facility will be closed. I paid for a dolly but there was no dolly in my truck. Instead there were furniture pads I didn't ask for or need. It made my move more difficult.

No issue with pick up location. Trouble was with road side assistance as the truck was stuck in our yard for over 5 hours and we were unable to start loading the truck until they got it out. We purchased the insurance and customer service tried to say we were responsible for paying for the tow. Customer service people not good at all.

The customer rep poorly explained the process. I knew it was 29.99 for truck. I understood 99 cents a mile . I did not know I had to pay for gas too but I did. I'm upset that the rep who runs the North Ridgeville store on center ridge rd was giving me a dirty truck. I'm upset that when I returned the truck. He said you have to fill the used gas not me. I said ok. I went and put gas in the vehicle. It was over 40 dollars. I filled the tank. I returned and he said yea I told you 7/8 of a tank. I said. You really never explained this . He started yelling at me. I checked my bill on discover and I understood the 29,99 rate for 2 hours use of truck the 69. 13 for the gas charge. I do not understand the third charge of 55. 49 I paid for the gas at speedway myself and filled the truck. It cost me over 40 dollars. What's with the extra 55.49 charge. The man was incompetent and rude. He also asked us to go to truck and check mileage. That's his job I thought. I would not use u haul again. I'm moving in 6 weeks and after that experience. I can't use this company. I'm owed a 55.49 refund.
