Requested a pickup location in Cataula, GA. Called to verify twice that it would be available and was told I would receive a call back. Never got one and received a text at 11:45 PM that I needed to pick up in Thomaston, GA at 0800, which is an hour away from where I live. Can't contact anyone because its's closed. My daughter and I drove an hour away to be there at 0800, and they didn't even open until 0900. The lady(manager) Shelby didn't even give mileage to cover the hour drive I had to make to get back to my house, or the cost of extra gas and told my wife to call Corporate. Horrible communication and customer service. Had to leave almost 2 hours before my family just so that I could make it on time with them, as the truck would shake terribly if driven over 60 mph, so I couldn't even do the speed limit. Will not rent from U-haul again.MICHAEL A.

Communication within your online system needs to improve. The local dealer verified they had the truck, but the online and national customer service representative could not verify. They cancelled the order and then would not renew it on the day of pick up (Sunday). I lost my moving day and my helpers, and had to wait to the next business day to visit the local dealer in-person to get the truck. What good is the online booking?Robert W.

I returned equipment one day after renting at this location. Received an email after equipment return stating I had scraped side of vehicle and damaged decals. I did not. Based on the condition of the truck when I picked it up, I'm confident the previous renter caused the damage but it wasn't reported. Not a happy customer after being accused of damage that occurred before I rented equipment.Barry H.
The truck I was supposed to rent had not been returned so they did not have a truck for me and didn't bother to call and tell me the situation . Had they done that I wouldn't have been near as upset as I was. Nor did they locate me another truck I had too do that myself also. So no I have used u-haul many time in my 60 years and my experience this time was not great.Barbara G.

Stop cheating by charging for gasoline that was not warranted according to the contract. I rented the vehicle and traveled only 8 miles (EIGHT MILES). When I returned the vehicle, I put in 3 gallons of gasoline. I always try to do more than expected but that was not good enough. I was charged for FOUR more gallons. SEVEN GALLONS for EIGHT MILES. This company is fraudulent. I called them and got no satisfaction. They plan to get away with this. I do NOT recommend this site.Glen W.

Our family was driving back from Florida to Indiana and the Century 21 rental in Thomaston, GA, stayed open late to provide us a truck dolly to tow our Tahoe back home. They were nice, courteous and also assisted us with the hook up. They made sure everything was tight and wished us the best. Thank you for the best customer service on a day that could of turned out very differently.MICHAEL S.

The truck was a piece of junk that had not been maintained in a long time. Ants made a trail across the dash for the whole trip. The "check engine" light came on about 100 miles of a 300 mile trip. A tire blew out about half way of the trip on the interstate at about 75 miles/hour. The truck vibrated and made noises for the whole trip. We waited on the side of the interstate for someone to come change the tire for about 30 minutes. My daughter, her daughter and a 5 month old baby were in the truck for the trip. I would like a full refund.Leanne M.
