The location I went to in Grandview, Missouri, treated me like shit! It’s like he was hating on me because I’m black and educated! Either way, the location that took me in is a 10/10; must try again, even if it was in the hood. Ron is the guy that helped me. He was sent from Jesus himself!

The truck was in horrible shape. The front end was so loose.You couldn't drive over about fifty five miles an hour. The transmission would not shift until the rpm reached almost five thousand. Definitely
would have never made it across country.

Location was easy to find. Although getting a 26ft truck in the lot was a little challenging from the side road.

Chads was great and the locationn was easy to find and convenient. The automated pickup through the app was a problem. The automated system for pick up when Chad is not opened said that my equipment wasn’t correct and I had to sit on hold for 15 to 20 minutes before I actually got a person to help me. The staff at Chad’s was very helpful and they did everything perfectly. Once I got through the automated pick up system, which takes about 45 minutes on your phone. The key was right in the box that it was supposed to be in.

Be prepared to take some time to park your equipment. The lot can be crowded.

I have picked up at Chadds and have dropped off there as well. The lot can be crowded to park returns but just take your time if you are returning after hours. During their open hours they might park it for you, I’m not sure about that, but they are nice people.

I returned the truck with the app after hours and it worked fine. I did fold all the blankets that were left in the truck from the previous rental unfolded, and I returned the dolly that I did not rent that was left in the truck from the previous rental.

I was charged for 2 days when i only had the Uhaul for one day. I picked it up at 2pm on the 25th and i returned it at 2:05pm on the 26th, yet the receipt says i had it until 8am on the 27th. i was charged DOUBLE what i should have been and I’m expecting a partial refund. This is not acceptable at all.
