I went to this location a week in advance to reserve a truck. The person there at the time was not familiar with the process so I wrote my name and number down and what size truck I needed and the date. I never heard back from them. When I went back to see if they had a truck available, they lied to me and told me they tried calling me but it didn’t go through, do they must have wrote my number wrong. I wrote it down myself so I know it wasn’t wrong, so it was a lie to cover up their forgetfulness of calling me. Then when I made the reservation, Without even asking me how long I needed the truck they only allowed for a 6 hour move and I have always needed it for a 24 hours. I had no idea they did this until I saw an additional charge on my credit card. So they charged me extra for not bringing the truck back within 6 hours. I have rented trucks numerous times and they argued with me about it insisting this is how it works. I even called another location that I have used several times before to verify if this is a new method and they said no. I have rented trucks numerous times within the past year, so I was not new to the system. Be specific when you rent a truck and make sure they document the time frame you need it for. Instead of arguing with me about it, they should have tried to make it right. You can look in my history to see I’ve done this before and I know what I’m talking about. I will never use this location again. I will go back to the other location even though it is further away and it will cost me more mileage.
