The truck smelled god awful, extremely sour like it had been rained in and the windows were rolled up. I also did NOT choose the $14 insurance and was billed for it anyway. I requested a callback and 2 days later I still haven't heard back from anyone.Michael W.

Saturday hours reduced. I never used the uhaul app to return equipment. Lady came out of store and locked door. I asked for assistance and she said she doesn't work there, she lives there. She advised many people ask her the same thing. My reply to her is that if people see you coming out the uhaul location and lock the door then it is a reasonable guess that you work there. She then advised to call the number on the door and I informed her line is busy. She then proceeds to unlock the uhaul store front and go and check then phone lines. Again she told me she lives there and not works there.IMRANSHAFIC B.

Charlottesville Virginia and Elm Mott Texas staff were great; very helpful with car trailer and truck. Just 2 problems. The truck leaked a little on the passenger side. Got my mattress a little wet. Long rain so the leak must not be too bad. I let Elm Mott know. 2 fuses out on truck so trailer lights did not work until roadside mechanics diagnosed and repaired after several hours. Not an easy problem to diagnose and fix. Great mechanics! Box moving helpers in Charlottesville and Elm Mott were great. Great having 1 month free storage too.John M.

Oh my. Nope and Nope. Issues: (1) The website wasn't working for after hours truck share phone check-in. (2) My check in link expired and the site wasn't taking my password. (3) I was on hold for like 30 min trying to get a representative, while sitting in the lot. (4) It was complete scavenger hunt trying to get the keys. (5) They had to call my emergency contact (my mom) to verify and she was confused. I tried to put my other driver as the contact, but they denied that. They waited until they talked to my mom to let my check in go through. What?! I had already paid for it! (5) The truck was located in a side lot. It took us 10 mins to find it. (6) This entire check in process was extremely time-consuming, stressful, and a giant waste of my time. The website has had issues since my initial booking, so when pick-up is reliant on using a phone and the Uhaul website, IT HAD BETTER BE WORKING (and it didn't...like three separate times during this crap process). NEVER AGAIN. NEVER EVER EVER.Suzanne D.

Parking lot was slightly cramped but thats to be expected with this location due to the minimal amount of parking. The representative however was very proactive and moved vehicles the day before to make returning the trailer i rented relatively easy. Overall fantastic experience. 10 out of 10 would do again.Jared M.

I was going to drop off at a dealer who stopped being a dealer 5 months ago. They still had the signs and key drop. Should be mandatory to former partners to remove signage so we don't get confused! Called customer support and found them unhelpful and not very friendly.ANDREWSHAWN M.

Thanks for asking. When someone rents/requests blankets and a dolly, they should be left in the truck. They were not, although we were still charged. Fuel: we returned the fuel gauge to exactly where it was when we picked up the truck. Why the added fuel charge? We ended up having to purchase blankets elsewhere and borrowing a dolly -- amounts that should be credited back. Location: needs longer hours.David S.
