KATHERINE TNeed lock for the U-Haul because ppl can steal the dolly off the unlocked trucks and blame the person who rented the truck. Put locks on the trucks with the key on the truck key. Absolutely need locks on the back of the trucks. I took pictures of the truck and everything that was on the truck so that U-Haul could see that I returned everything back like it was.
BERNADETTE RNo professional customer service. Did not acknowledge reservation items. Tried to charge $10 for volleyball, contract says $7. Tried to charge $30 for insurance. Contract says $15. Charged credit card $160 after saying $134. No mention of deposit or need to charge my card differently. 1st said 'cash only' for boxes. 2nd person asked 'cash or card' for boxes. No pre-inspection with me regarding uhaul condition, mileage accuracy or verification of gas level. Got the truck key and went outside to find large semi-truck. I ordered 10foot truck. Once I returned the truck, key and volley, the worker said Bye...No post-inspection of truck, mileage, gas level. No receipt, nothing to sign, just 'ok, bye'. When questioned about refund of overpricing plus the janky office practices, 2nd employee completed all tasks mentioned above, explained refund procedure, and gave me receipt of completed contract. Awaiting refund to appear on my credit card account. Would never recommend. Ever!!

Lucino NThe truck was obviously old and falling apart. It didn't drive well (poor shocks), got lousy gas mileage (worse than usual) and the air conditional didn't work when going uphill (meaning it didn't blow air). Furthermore, the key mechanism on the driver's side door was loose and actually came out of the socket while in use. I had to duck tape it in place so I wouldn't get stranded during my 270 mile trip to Las Vegas. I would have asked for a different truck, but by the time I knew of all the issues, I had it loaded and it was 9pm, so I was stuck with it. Finally, there was a horrible smell in the truck from obvious pot smoking - and while it did get better over the four days I had it, the smell would come back when the truck was closed up and sitting in the heat for any amount of time. I feel like I should get some type of credit on my account for this type of a situation. I've rented many different U-haul trucks over the years and have never experienced something like this.

Israel FOnly thing I did not like was that the fuel mileage in the 10' truck I was driving only got 6 miles per gallon of gas. My diesel truck gets better gas mileage than this truck. Otherwise everything else was great. The service owner was very pleasant.

ROBERT RProcess was quick and easy. Bit of a weird area and it's an auto repair shop so it was unclear exactly where to go. Would be helpful if there was a sign or something so people know this is the right place to drop off a UHaul.

FIMA DThe guy insisted on doing an inspection. He wanted a friend and I to wait while he sanitized or cleaned the truck which was not dirty. He also wanted to clean passenger side but no one rode with me. He would not unlock the back of the truck so I could take a picture. Totally disappointed at the drop off.

Marcello GThis was a huge hassle. The guy working I the shop (only person there) said we could not drop off the truck. Would not let us put the keys in the drop off box by taping up the box. He almost got in a fight with my son. He claims there were not parking spots available but we parked in one spot just fine. The guy was a jerk and I was scared to leave the truck. Against his wishes we left the truck. Took pictures as evidence and took the keys with me. I dropped the keys off the next day at a real Uhaul place and tod them where it was parked and what happened. I will never go back to that location again.
Diann LHorrible customer service!! Attendant did not know how to use the platform. I have an account, had confirmed reservation, paid wi cc, DL uploaded, etc. We arrived 15 minutes before store/garage even opened hoping to be able to switch to a bigger truck. BUT the attendant couldn’t find the res. He said he had to renter everything (and I should cancel mine) and he still didn’t know how to do it. After about 45 mins I asked if I could help, he said I should try entering a new reservation. Five mins later we were running out the door since we had movers waiting at the house. We returned in 4 hours, the other attendant who checked us out said we returned the car dirty - there was barely some sand on the floor??? He would have to charge us. This was ridiculous since we only moved boxes and plastic containers. I never saw the inside of the truck when we got it since we were in a rush to get back, but if there was anything, it was from before. I tried explaining it to the attendant, but he basically said we are lying. My son tried explaining it to him, but he wasn’t having it and for a second there I thought there was going to be an altercation between the two so I just told the attendant to charge me whatever it was and we had to go (I made up an excuse to get out of there quickly). Just all around HORRIBLE experience.

JEREMY CNeighborhood was a little scary for after hours drop off. Lot was not lit well. I do not appreciate being charged for cleaning a truck that was dirty when i picked it up.
Kathi AI rented the truck for 6 hrs. and was charged 2 day rental, and 2 days of insurance because the dealer was dishonest. He also told me the tank was full when it wasn't even close. I only drove 53 mi. and ended up putting in 12+ gals to fill up. U-Haul needs to reimburse me $80.00 Call me please. 760-522-5258

SIMON TBe aware if they ask you to park your rental right in the driveway on the slightly slanted, uneven payment; rather than in an open parking space, as the UHaul guidlines require! This will make your fuel level slightly off the mark, for which you will be charged; when you're sure you brought it back at the level you received it at! I wonder how many of these extra fees have been collected this way? I know of one other review that claims a hair of a difference; & now I think we understand how it works! The truck also arrived for drop-off 20 mins early, and the driver asked the shop to wait until I arrived for billing; but he didn't. I was on time to pay with a different card; but he wouldn't change it ; and of course would not give me a printout of the extra charges; saying he emailed it. (I had not received the email yet). Poor customer service & lack of concern for my complaints! Uhaul changed my desired choice of drop-off the day before to this location without an option. Not happy all the way around on this one!
Caroline LI was charged for a few items that were not included in my rental truck. Also a little nit-picky on the gas amount. I tried to fill it up to where it started, but still got dinged for about $10 in gas.
SCOTT CI was over charged and told to call a number why should I have to do more work to get my money back!!!!
