I ONLY have GLOWING praise for the kind woman who works the U-Haul side at check and deli. Now I know why all the reviews said THIS was the place to go in Canton for a U-Haul! The beginning of this move-in day was an absolute nightmare!! I requested a truck from here and my reservation got moved to someplace called Phil's Drive-In, which I DO NOT recommend. I requested originally to do mobile pickup at 7am. This was back before I knew I was going to have to let my phone line suspend so that I could ensure enough move for this move. That was my fault and I own that. However, when I arrived and realized I wasn't going to be able to pick up I left in search of wifi to cancel that reservation and make a new one for in person so that I wouldn't need to have my phone. I set it for the same place because I knew they had a 15', It was the only u-haul in the entire parking lot so I knew it was for me and that it would be available. Seemed like a safe decision. I could not have been more wrong. I arrived back at the same place and no one is there. Just me and the u-haul. So with no other choice, I wait. Surely someone has to show up eventually right? They did about seven minutes later. They were not super friendly but I wouldn't go so far as to say rude. He talked to me and I explained the situation and his answer to trying to pick up the truck I had been trying to pick up for at this point two and a half hours, was to get a phone. Not a great start. Long story short I was there another forty-five minutes just waiting while he occasionally came out to say the person who does the u-hauls who apparently was not there that day, wasn't responding or that my reservation showed cancelled because I had cancelled the 7am one but again, I set up a new reservation for in person at 9. SO I leave no truck in hand and head to check and deli. I arrive a before 10. The very nice man who runs the tech shop there was so helpful and kind! He let me know the woman who runs the counter for u-haul was running a behind but would be there soon and so I waited some more. It was so worth the wait!! She was kind and helpful and got me set up straight away with a 10' truck and the nice man even put me onto his store's wifi so that I could do what she needed me to in the app. She handled all of the pre stuff for me and all of the check in after because again I was not able to because of my current lack of phone service. She was wonderful and amazing to work with! So understanding and helpful!! I only have the highest praise for both of those people!! Amazing experience to a really horrible start to an already stressful day. 1000000/5 stars
