Staff was too busy to check me in, she said she'd get it later. Later I get an email saying I got charged for an extra day when I didn't have it an extra day. With both transactions Uhaul got over $3,000.00 from me but I guess they needed just a little more of my money This is wrong uhaul... you made almost $5000 off me in less than two years but I guess my next move will be with one of your competitors.

No one was wearing a mask that was representing U-Haul. Whether you believe in Covid-19 and the guidelines put in place, it is mandatory and shows a disrespect to the customers of U-Haul. I hope this is not a statement of U-Hauls policy toward customer safety and service. I will not rent a truck from that location again.

Not a huge deal, but they had 2 newer units the same size I rented and they put me in what I would guess is the oldest 26ft truck they have. Cranked slow, and the oil pressure dropped out after it warmed up. I was able to complete my move, but I would have preferred a newer unit so I wouldn't have to worry if the truck was going to start or crap out on me in the middle of my move.

Work on your confirmation and pick up process!! I was confirmed to pick up at busy bee in Valparaiso (town I live in) for a smaller trailer as a bigger one I wanted was in Portage and a 10am pick up, I needed to be rolling by 9am. So they called/ texted Friday and said pick up moved to Chesterton, not very happy to go from a three minute ride in town into 25 minute out of town the day before. Besides that was a good and liked the on line check in

passenger side running lights were all int functional. I checked for turn and stop before I left but in the sunlight it was hard to see if that side tail light was running as they are now LED's

The original vehicle was not at the site that I had booked. I drove many miles out of my way to rent the 20' truck. I am still waiting for a refund that was promised. I was also charged more than the original contract.

From my first inquiry to dropping off the truck, my experience with uhaul was everything I could have wanted. The ONLY thing that could have made it better was if it came with a couple of laborers.

I rented a 5 x 8 trailer, only thing that I disliked was no locking device on tongue of trailer.

My complaint isn't entirely with this location it is with UHaul.com. They couldn't find my reservation in the system even though a confirmation number was texted to me. The girl tried to charge me for two days right off the bat and then when I returned the trailer after hours, your system AGAIN couldn't find me by contract number, phone, or email address. I then tried a chat off of your site which was not answered, then tried email off of your site, which didn't work.... of course you only find that out after spending the time typing into the form, only to find that it can't SEND. I did finally manage to find a regular email address after much digging, which I then sent another email to. BASICALLY, Uhaul.com looks like an old dote who is unfamiliar with modern technology, puts it on the website to look cool, but can't make it work. It added about two hours to my day, so NO, I am not happy with Uhaul. I also don't appreciate the need for providing three "emergency contacts" for the rental of a trailer. That is an invasion of my privacy. The girl taking the credit card wouldn't process it without the additional names. That is BS. I want to be able to opt out. You have my Credit Card and DL at that point... enough.

The woman who helped secure this appointment (Janie, or Janine?) was really helpful. The guy that got us our trailer during the actual appointment was pretty unprofessional- he made it clear that he did not want to be helping us at 9:30 on a Sunday morning. It was really uncomfortable and inappropriate.

Can't think of anything to improve Cheryl Bonin in Chestrrton, In. was very pleasant to work with. They held a rental for an extra 2 hrs since something came up but was later able to go pick the truck up which helped me tremenrously. Will rent again from them and have told others of their rentals. A+!

I intended to use the app to pick up my uhaul. The app did not work so I went inside. I was the only customer when I entered the location and I was helped right away, but 3 customers came and went before I was able to leave because they were having difficulties checking out my uhaul. An hour later they took down my credit card information so I would be able to take my rental. Now I have three pending charges on my card and an hour wasted of an already busy day.
