Pablo was rude, he called me before checking in the van. Asked where was I, I responded I'm 5minutes away, literally. He started to raise his voice saying â€œhe needed the van!â€ So unprofessional and just rude. Horrible experienceGiovanni S.

Received call day before that they overbooked the van. I had rented for 24 hours But was being asked to return it that evening or early in the morning. Explained I needed the van for the full reservation And was told I needed to â€˜do them a favor.' In the end I was able to keep my reservation but was very put off - why didn't they just call the next reservation to help them but shouldn't be customer's issue. The Cargo Van was in excellent condition. It drove smoothly, and there were no equipment malfunctions. The only downside was that I had requested furniture pads, but they were not provided. It would have been nice to know ahead of time so I could have brought my quilts from home or something similar.Kaitlin H.
The check-in process took longer than I expected, particularly since I had already entered my drivers license information during checkin a few days earlier. Then, during the checkin, the code I was sent for the key (since I was doing a contactless pickup) was incorrectâ€”it was all numbers and the lock was letters. I chatted the help person and they told me to go inside, but the location was closedâ€”padlock closed. I eventually spoke with a rep (Nico) who was very helpful but I am still very irritated about the service I'm general since I had to start moving an hour later than I planned. This is not my first negative experience with Uhaul and I will do everything I can to never use uhaul again.Kayla V.

The truck was practically brand new with 3900 miles, it was clean, well maintained, new tires etc. Ran like a champ! The location has a pretty reduced parking where they sell used cars. Good location if you plan on renting a 15 foot truck or smaller. Very friendly and down to earth staff.DANIEL M.

Overall a horrible experience. Truck which was reserved was not connected with my account before pick up. I was charged for insurance when I specifically chose to go without it. The clerk did whatever he wanted, he assumed I wanted insurance, which I didn't....he did t ask and then told me it was too late. For Payne t I held the reservation with a credit card, but explained that I wanted the final bill paid by my credit card, he ignored my request and charged the card. I picked up the U-haul in front of the location (because it had after hours pick up, how else do you explain me making a reservation from 6:30-10:30pm) so I never went inside. The truck was clean minus a few things in the bed of the truck. Upon returning the truck (an hour early) the spot where I picked it up from was occupied, and the lot next to the building had only two spots, both occupied (one by a u-haul and one by a chicago police vehicle). So I called customer service to ask where to park. the first person I spoke with was Judy, and she told me I could not return after hours, but I explained the reservation hours and agreed to forward me to an area manager (the call was forwarded straight to a voicemail, it did not even ring). So I called back and talked with Cherly who told me the same thing (not an after hours drop off location). She also told me that I could not return it anywhere else and that I had to keep it overnight (which I did not want to pay for). I am also flying out of the state tomorrow and work in the morning, I don't have time to return the truck at 9am. She offered no solution except noting it in the records. This is dissappointing and frustrating for multiple reasons. Why would u-haul let me make a 4 hour reservation if I could to return the car there? Why does customer service not know that I can in fact drop off the car there? Why can't I drop off the u-haul at a different location if there is nowhere to park so that I don't have to pay extra for a problem that u-haul has created? I left the car parked on street near the store and put the keys in the lock box as indicated on the app. The quality of the pictures may not be the best as it was raining but I will not be paying for this service again, nor do I think I should be paying for the service today after I saw how u-haul treats their customers. If you'd like to double check that this actually happened you can review the recordings of the audio from my phone calls with judy and cherly.Paula R.

Remove the individual who works there. I have never felt so belittled, nor upset in dealing with any transaction. The "gentleman" working there had me wait while he re-entered all information that I previously listed online. Then he said ...'it's the system, not me'. He challenged me regarding my reservation time, even after when I showed him my phone text message confirmation from UHaul with a time of 10 to 4pm. He belittled me upon return, blamed me for having to brought the vehicle in late (I was 20 minutes in before 4pm), Told me I was to pay more than regular amount, and had me feeling terrible. I WILL NEVER ENTER HIS STORE AGAIN! I will travel miles for another UHAUL location in the future, since I trust you have other agents who can provide fair and competent customer service.JOHN M.

customer service at this location was atrocious. The guy continually called and harassed me about getting the truck back ever though he gave us the truck 40 minutes late. He was rude on the phone and in person. The equipment we requested was not accessible at this location but I was not told that in advance and then he wanted us to drive the truck to another location to get it and spend our money on the mileage. The truck i actually rented was really hot. The air burned the hair off right leg. Also the gas needle was broken the owner had to go to the gas station with me so i could show him the needle was broken. I was charged twice. It was a horrible experience.SHAUNDA W.

The WORST experience of my life...Customer service BEYOND POOR Quotes on the phone different, vehicle reserved different.....I left a few items in the vehicle and did not realize it....i was called and said there were Hangers a bag and a BLACK COAT....when I picked up items the COAT was missed.....i did not realize I left the coat in the truck.Mike an employee of U Haul informed me but alas it disappeared STOLEN by one of your pathetic employees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was no time alotted between rentals. The customer before us returned the truck late so we got started late which affected everyone involved in the move. Also, we were told that we had to return the truck five hours earlier than scheduled when we picked the truck up. Overall, this was very inconvenient.
