My experience was not good at all, but that has nothing to do with the rental location. That was your system. I tried ordering a 20' and 26' Truck and it was always canceled with no offer to pick up at another location. I ordered 26' for 24 hours a few days before moving and ended up with 15' for 9 hours only! I got the permission from the lady at the pick up location to bring it back later, but latest at 8.45am. I had booked from 9-9am. The smaller Truck, and also 1 hour loss for sign up caused us a lot of time Stress and I had to make 2 Tours instead of one. The online drop off didn't work, but the lady at drop off was kind enough to do that for me in the morning. Overall for that issues it was expensive, stressful and I would not recommend U Haul anymore. I had too many of the same issues in the past. The same goes for family members. Moving and having everything out on time is stressful enough as it is. There shouldn't be worries and problems about the rental equipment on top.

The lady handling the transaction was very rude

Not enough equipment at the location - the single truck was returned a day late and as a result, several customers including myself had our reservations and pick up times delayed. I was personally delayed over 3 hours because of the lack of available equipment at the location despite the staff working diligently to assist multiple customers.

The service provided at the store was EXCELLENT. I would not say the same about the CDN U-haul primary rental number in the BC lower mainland. They are rude, unhelpful and dismissive of concerns. KEVIN HStop faults advertising saying Canadian milage rate is $ 1.09 per km the charging in miles !!!!! This then is $ 1.75 per mile !!! I stood in the heat for 45 mins in the morning waiting for someone to open store to take delivery of truck. Store keeper a no show untill 0900 hrs instead of 0800 hrs !! No apology, nothing !! In the evening when returning unit to same as pickup location, a diffren girl behind the counter. She was rude right off the batt and very poorly informed as to how uhaul functioned or charged. She could not even tell me milage rate was diffrent because of converting km to miles. Truck unit was great, clean and new and pleasent to operate.

Especially after I booked 2 months ago. Also had to take a half day off work to work within uhauls schedule. I am glad I don’t anticipate needing your services anytime soon.

As we given a rental truck that both of the wheel well hatches inside the cargo area above the rear tires leaked and allowed muddy water to get in the inside of the cargo area and damage our new $2000 king size bed mattress and 1 box spring.

Gordon BI called ahead of time to confirm if my truck was on site and available. The attendant said yes. When I arrived, they did not have the truck. I was told I could wait 4 hours for my truck, or pay extra for a larger truck. Given my tight schedule, I paid extra for the larger truck. It was boxed in on the lot and took some time to move. I was delayed over an hour due to this issue.
David BWoman is NOT friendly. The store is supposed to open at 7:30, my appointment was at 8 for pickup, she arrived at 8:20. There 2 of the exact same trailers in her lot, I asked which one to take, she told me there was only 1 in her lot, so I took the one closest to where I was parked. Very unprofessional over all.
Sean GEverything on the trailer was good, hubs were loose and had no one that was able to fix it before we had to leave. Would be a good idea to leave these things with a spare tire so you aren’t stranded somewhere waiting for a tire shop to bring a spare.

I received my phone call the day before telling me I was getting a 20 ft truck , when I had ordered a 26 ft one. I had to leave stuff behind and change the ferry reservation. Being told at the last minute was a real inconvience !

Bill jIt is winter in the Cariboo and I think the 15 van was great but should have better winter tires on the rear . It worked very well for me as the weather got quite mild and the snow and ice melted considerably to what it had been at the time of my rental .

Daniel FThe after hours last was extremely rude and was not helpful, she kept telling me i was late but i had paid till the 21st , I said online i may be able to bring the trailer back on the 20th at 2pm but due to getting a flat tire and dealing with U-Haul roadside assistance for 3 hours to get a new tire i didin't make it by 2 i made it by 4:30, still 1 day ahead of what my contract was due to do it off. I am extremely frustrated from the experience i received at this drop off location from this lady and through this whole ordeal feel that i need to be reimbursed for getting equipment that wasn't obviously quite roadworthy by blowing a tire so fast and i hardly had any weight in the trailer. Right now I'm extremely agitated and bothered by this rental experience

Dorothy BWe are in western middle Canada, extremely cold and winter conditions. The 5 ton truck had Arizona summer tires on it, so we could not drive to our original destination. Very dangerous truck for Canadian winters. We would Not recommend uhaul trucks for Canadian driving. They should be reported as Dangerous! Side not* Staff were very helpful and friendly.

This rental location is in a community that has harsh and long winters and the tires on the trailer are not adequate for winter driving. No lighting at location which makes pre and post trips difficult.

Discrepancy was not fixed until after I returned the equipment. Very annoying and memorable. They blamed it on U-haul and your computer system.

tyler bLight cable was too short to plug into any vehicle(about 2 feet away from the tongue)… I had to run out and buy my own cable. I have never had to do that before with U-Haul Other than that great trailer! Super clean and in really good shape.
Brencis UI wanted a 15ft truck in 100 Mile House. I phoned uhaul a week before to change my two to two days and they said the was not 15ft truck in 100 Mile. So they gave me a 20ft truck then at same price. Then day before I phone local dealer and the truck got stolen and there was nothing available in 100 Mile. So next location was William's Lake. 70km away. My friend picked it up but this was a big hassle to get both names on. And the uhaul rep said I would only get billed for one day but I got billed for 2 away now. I need to phone back. And see if this gets changed. It really sucks that you line your people up to help move and then your truck is not there. My son came 500km to help. And Daughter 250km. Was very frustrating.
