From start to finish this was by far one of the most pleasant and friendly experiences I've had with a local business. And such great customer service for this day and age - attentive, informative, patient….they made it easy and it went so smoothly - no problems at all. The truck was great and serviceable, the cab floors and dash were particularly dirty but the seats belts windows and mirrors were clean. Over all good

Keith H.Took almost 20 minutes to get the truck after head office apparently already sent over the information for me to grab the truck and they have my file. After I had already gone to a different location to pick up a trailer that ended up having a flat tire. And even though uhaul did their best to compensate me and give me another rental for the price I had already paid I was actually double charged on GST and PST which was mildly annoying. All this made me unable to get to the location I needed to be at for work that day before the supplier closed for the day. Mildly annoying.

Suhan K.It was a good experience. My only complaint was that the website told me I could pick up the truck any time with 24/7 pick up, but when I arrived that was not the case. I had to wait for the place to open, 30 minutes later. Thankfully someone was there early so they helped me before they were officially open. But it would have been nice to know that I had to call ahead if I wanted to pick up outside of business hours.
Wilf R.Have the trailers facing the opposite direction, so you can hook up and then drive away. The yard is very small. Turning with a trailer there can be difficult.

Preetkanwal B.When you pick up a uhaul you generally haven't got time to read all the fine print. So nothing wasn't mentioned about a surcharge if any gas was owing. A lot of gas was put in (by me the customer) before starting the move. The fuel gauge obviously doesn't work because it never moved . So according to U haul it takes $80 dollars to go 57 miles for a small truck that wasn't full. I returned the truck very early which allowed them to rent the truck in the morning. There also isn't any hooks on the inside sides of the truck to do strapping. I also phoned uhaul and talked to a woman about the gas gauge of the truck not working but I got no response so it is doubtful she passed the message on.

SYLVIA C.The only complaint, and it's not a small one, is that nowhere, throughput the reservation process did it state that a 4 prong electric was the only option offered by uhaul. No adapter was made available, I have a 7 prong connection. This meant unhitching their trailer and driving to a Lordco to buy one myself. Wasted time, during my rental period and my fuel , when it's cost is currently through the roof and having to hitch up a second time. No excuse. The ladies were apologetic stating that their boss won't carry the adapter. Very bad customer service to not make renters aware before hand if this is how the business is run. Otherwise, things were fine.

Vehicle reserved was not available, so that was the only negative. If it were to happen again the next time we rent, the rating would drop. The online/ after hours pick up was atrocious. Very frustrating. It would go far to pre-load customers with what to expect on pick up, such as needing a passport, two people, your work, etc, to verify you. Who just brings their passport with them to pick up a U-Haul? And when I started contacting people to make sure they were available to answer a call for verification, I wasn't getting an answer at first. (What if we were picking up at midnight?) There is much that could be done to improve on this portion of the rental process.
Gregory N.The lady working was nice but, she had problems with the pos & I was told there was no gas in the truck. They charge you a surcharge if you return the truck with no gas. I should be paid the charge that they levied on the person who returned the truck with no gas, and also be reimbursed for the extra gas I left in the vehicle when I returned it!

Sandra W.Uhaul called on my day of reservation saying my original booking wouldnt work because the company i had chose didn't have truckshare, yet they advertise they have it and let me book it anyways. Uhaul disturbed me while at work to tell me the day of my moving that i had to find a new truck and wanted me to go out of my way for a new truck which would in turn charge me for the extra kilometres i didnt book for in the first place. Very frustrating and made our moving day more stressful then it needed to be.
