There were no directions as to where to put the truck, and when I finally found someone to ask about checking in, all he did is complain about where I put the truck. He seemed put out by the whole rental business when all I wanted to do is what was expected.

BRENT SWhen I went to get the truck, I had a friend leave his car there long enough to go get the truck from the house The guy that checked the truck and said he didn’t know that we allow people leave their cars there. Well you know that’s rude rotten I really don’t like being treated like shit so I won’t rent another vehicle there.

SCOTT LThe owner was upset that I dropped the truck and trailer off at his location because he claimed he had no room, then he gave me crap about where I parked. It was a gravel drive that looked like it belonged to his business. He made the comment," people just park wherever the hell they want." After that he quickly checked the equipment in and sent me on my way. Not a good ambassador for UHaul, I'll chose a different drop off location next time
GERD GI dropped the trailer off after hours and checked it in with the app. The app crashed and left me wondering if I had left something undone… but I had to get back in the road. I called and spoke with someone at the business and they assured me that I was good to go. Good on the business, bad on the U-Haul app.
BRENT BThe aluminum floor of the trailer covered all my items with black marks. I would recommend a wood or carpet covering to prevent this from happening.
ERIC SThe area has virtually no cell service, making using your phone to check in and out frustrating and non productive. Office was open when we returned the truck. They took the keys and said your all set. Had to call uhaul for them to make notes on our return, as I was fearful we would have extra fees for not returning on time.

christine bI had horrible cell phone connectivity that resulted in a lengthy pick up process. I had to actually drive to be close to a cell tower before I was able to complete my pick up. It took me over an hour and 20 minutes. If they had guest Wi-Fi available at this location, I would’ve been in and out in five minutes. Since most businesses do have Wi-Fi, I suggest you require them to make a guest Wi-Fi connection option. This would eliminate the issue I experienced.

Tom GThere was no one on site even though i returned my truck at 2:00 on a Sunday. in all fairness perhaps this was "after hours" for this location. My main problem was lack of internet service, so my return process took more than an hour. Because of the lack of internet, i had to drive 15 min each way to get my mobile hot spot (Verizon instead of AT&T). I was hoping switching internet carriers would improve my reception but even after switching it this terrible location offered only one bar of service. So i did all i could, waiting a VERY long time for each photo to download...and then finally not really being able to finish the last steps because the app just clocked endlessly. This was a VERY negative experience and frankly if there is no internet at certain locations then UHaul should just NOT offer these locations. This negative return experience was layered on top of an equally frustrating pick experience, so overall my interactions with UHaul for this truck rental were not good at all. The truck itself was fine. it was the customer experience where UHaul dropped the ball, both at pick up and at return.
Rob RThe owner started complaining the minute I walked in the door and continued the entire time... didn't know I was coming.. no room for trailer etc... really a rotten disposition... when I asked for assistance in taking trailer off as I am awaiting surgery for bone on bone in both thumbs and was not able to.. he flew off even more... he's 76.. he has arthritis too blah blah.. U-Haul can't need dealers that bad to keep people like him representing them..
William VYou cannot get cell service which is required at the time of service. They forgot the appliance dolly which I was told I could pick up at another location and that location was closed when U-Haul claimed it was open the truck had moving blankets thrown loosely all over the back of the truck and trash in the cab from previous users. I was on hold for 45min waiting so I could pick up the truck. This location needs to allow access to WiFi so that people who have Verizon as a carrier can pickup and drop off the vehicle. Or simply don’t do U-Haul… u haul gets an F

goldie sThere is NO internet service, so our 7:30 am pick up was delayed for 1.5 hours until the used car lot attendant could let us access his WiFi to check in and finally being our move. This was despite speaking with the U-Haul customer service team for over an hour. It’s unacceptable not to have a backup method to assist customers when the local business is closed.
