Went to pick up a truck and it was clean, full of gas and newer than the car ther truck there, was all set to pick that one up, got through the check in and some one came out and told me they have to switch me trucks because they were using the one I was supposed to rent, the one I ended up getting was out of gas and older, just poor customer service.Levi B.

Well due to the equipment being outside in the elements. The rachet straps were rusty and not wanting to move properly. Lucky I carry a can of PB blaster and WD40 with me at all times. A nice plastic mold or a cover of some type would be helpful..Gregory H.

I made a reservation to pick up a truck over 2 weeks prior. Location email sent me to, did not have truck. Someone was suppose to call and let me know location pick up, Didn;t happen. They finally found a truck but no keys. This put us 2 hours behind in our move, paid for labor we did not use. In all fairness to both distributers they did their best. I think its uhaul that dropped the ball. We have to move for business reasons. However this is the last time I will ever use Uhaul. Its not the first bad experience and I try to give benefit of the doubt and retry, Not this time, we are done. Why make a reservation if you are not going to do your part, then they charge us for a gallon of gas??? Really nice!jody W.

only complaint I had was that I returned the uhaul before midnight, and couldn't get it checked in useing the app due to service in the area. I returned before the 2nd night was over but still got charged for a 3rd day because I had to wait to call in and the location checked it in. I did leave the vehicles at the correct drop off location the night before. So I rented for 2 days out of the for but still getting charged for the 3rd day because I couldn't check it in the night before.Michael S.

Was told the truck had a full tank, but when I got in it was barely over a half. Filled the truck up on the way back, and left it with way more than it has when I picked it up. Found out I was charged 31 dollars for fuel.Byron W.

Did not realize there would be extra charges on drop off. Would have preferred to use key drop off box. The fellow was there and said he'd take care of everything. If it needed cleaned and he looked at it, we would have swept a few carpet fibers out of the truck.CLIFFORD W.
Pickup and drop off was really easy and the gentleman was very helpful. The truck however and animal hair all through the back and smelled like cat pee.Maria H.
They charged me $15 for cleaning the truck. I returned it and I wouldn't have considered it dirty. They could have called and asked me to come "sweep it out" before someone spent one minute cleaning it and charging me $20.... won't use them again!Stephanie H.

The location and picking up the vehicle was fine. What was not good is the fact that I had to wait almost an hour to get "approved" and actually get the code to get the keys for the truck. This set my move back in hour where I already had a major time crunch and frankly is just unacceptable. What is the point of the online check in if you still have to wait an hour for approval?? I also tried calling Uhaul and was put an hold before I was hung up on, never did even talk to anyone. I also tried the live chat and no one ever responded. This process was terrible and not as advertised whatsoever. I also didn't get a furniture dolly that I paid for. I will be calling to file a major complaint and will be reprimanded.Jared H.
