Andrew PMy overall experience was horrible. I have rented from U-Haul before, and this was the worst experience by far. I was moving items from one storage unit to another, so this location was perfect because it was nearby both. It was easy enough to find and there were plenty of trucks for it being the first of the month, but it was impossible to find the lock box for the keys and I didn't even see where the office was to talk to someone. Also the online ID verification process was horrible. I had to go back home for my passport because my license wasn't enough and they want a friend or work verification too? It's a Saturday. I have never had to do that before. I'd rather have a live person do the verification. I wasted an entire hour for the check-in process. My fiancé did find a person who worked there and he said she was helpful, I just wish it had been easier to find her. I guess I know now, but there should be more signs. The overall process should have been quick and easy for what I need to do, and instead it was unnecessarily long and stressful. Also, there were no vans available. I got the smallest truck but it was too big for what I needed. Also, the check engine light turned on and some errors on the dashboard came up. I was terrified to drive the truck, not knowing if it would just stall and stop working. It felt very unsafe. Thankfully it was all local driving (only 5 miles total).

Krista-Lynn MI ordered a van the dispatch never notified the place. They did not have a van. The place was wonderful and accommodated me with a truck they had on hand. The experience was easy and the location people were helpful.
Patricia MThere was no WiFi to access my reservation information when the girl asked for my drop off location so it was changed, without me asking, to my home town. This made drop off a nightmare and left us calling U-HAUL after a long day of moving to change it back. There was no availability at our first choice drop off but I am appreciative of the phone U-Haul customer service representatives who helped us get at least closer than our home town.

I am writing to bring to your attention some unexpected charges on my recent U-Haul rental under Contract # 94123102 Upon reviewing my receipt, I noticed charges that were not clearly explained during the rental process, specifically Rental tax, Motor Vechicle Tax and Fuel Charge. Can someone please review and get back to me on it.
ZAHIR SSystem was down which caused delays but manager was more than helpful and went out of his way to help us.
DYLAN RI went to U-Haul in Brookline to pickup my 10am rental reservation and did not have a truck for me. They had to then send me somewhere else to get one.

ABDUL ANothing. The staff at the Monmouth Junction U-Haul is knowledgeable and helpful. The office associates had me in and out of the office quickly. Also, my U-Haul did not start and the response time by the tow truck driver was quick and very, very helpful. He got me back on the road in no time. They handled the problem very well and that's also a good mark of great customer service.

Toby SThe lady was 25 minutes late and saw me sitting outside and another customer in the office. She comes in to the office like there is nothing wrong and no big deal if she was almost half an hour late. No Hello. No Acknowledgment of any remorse on her part for the delay. When she started to ask questions, she was so direct and not customer service manner at all. She makes a comment to see if the truck was available for a 24 hrs even though I made the reservation for 24 hrs. Not sure why I had to give the same license and payment info again to her if I completed and uploaded the same documents online. No Issue there but just double entry. Also she was no help in identifying where the truck was just go to the front and look for it. When I got to the truck, she got so upset with my message that I sent during my 25 minutes wait in the Uhaul app that she came storming out and asking me if I sent a message and I replied yes. She was so upset and asked me to not part my vehicle in the parking lot anymore (Even though she agreed to it during the check out). I had to go home, have someone drive me back to the store to pickup my vehicle. She also said to not bring the truck in 24 hours but to make sure to bring it the same night otherwise something which I couldn't hear properly. Overall, she is the worst one I have ever dealt with in Uhaul history and would never want to see/deal with her again ever in my life. Thanks Jazz

karim aThe place is like a trash collection center - so poorly maintained and disorganized. The truck has multiple alerts on the driver’s screen. They charged me $1.99 per mile for a local move. I ended up with paying $110 for a two hour quick move. Won’t be back again.

AYMAN LI had an U-box delivered to this facility. The manager and staff were friendly and very helpful. They notified me when the box arrived, and were helpful in providing access to the box for unloading.
