Out of all of the years that I have dealt with U-Haul, I have NEVER had such a bad experience. There was trouble with the app but that happens. I had chosen to pay at the counter but to my surprise I get there, and they were as incompetent as a 5th grader when doing business. I chose the time out of 2 that were available 5:30 or 5:45. I chose 5:30. If it was going to be a person free transaction I could have done it much earlier. But I waited. Then with all of the issues that wait turn into almost 2 hours of hell. There was one consolation to all of this. One of the young ladies that I spoke at U-Haul customer service for 55 minutes was a jewel. She helped with the issue that I was having with the app. (System error not human error) Her patience especially considering that by this point I was in tears. This was day 2 I had already used a 26-foot truck the day before and hired movers only to need another truck. I have moved multiple times in my life from St. Louis to Phoenix to Fayetteville Ga and times in between. I have coordinated moves for others and used U-Haul every time. For the last close to a decade, I have also used your contracted movers through the app. This is not my first rodeo, and I am typically a patient person but the issues I had with their attitude was justified. Not to mention that I did not get the dolly I paid for their response was they will reimburse you. That was just as important as the truck. I was moving boxes. I am a seasoned member of society, and I do not need to, nor do I want to lift individually over 60 boxes. (A lot of them were boxes of books) Well put it like this I filled from the back to the front of the 15-ft truck. Without a dolly it was so much that I was forced to schedule (Still needed to get a pickup truck the next day) That is a lot of lifting that I should not have been doing. I would recommend this location to my enemy.
