Nobody was available to assist my wife with trailer drop-off. Eventually, someone from a neighboring business was called and able to help take the trailer off the hitch. That shouldn't be a customer's responsibility, but at part-time rental sites this seems to be the new norm at some (two of the three used in this area for six rentals over the past 6 months).
MARK KThe uhaul we rented online wasn't available when we got there. Unfortunately, they couldn't credit the difference for the larger truck. Otherwise, the office manager was very nice. The truck was clean, everything worked well. No issues with pick up or drop off. Smooth experience outside of the availability!

Michael MLights did not work so we could not drive at night. The wires on the trailer were redone prior to us getting it. Lights were not inspected before we left therefore we did not find it until 5 am when we needed it

Lori SThis was not the location we original reserved at. This was a terrible experience with u-Haul. The day before the reservation, I got a phone call to confirm my reservation for the following day at 3 p.m for a 26’ truck at a location that was 15 minutes from my home. The day of the pick up, meaning, the following day, I called U-Haul to ask if could pick up the truck 45 minutes early be a use I was out and about. The person on the line said that my reservation would post not even be ready at the time of pick up anyway. Mind you, I was moving six hours away. My scheduled day to leave was the next morning. I had people coming at 3pm to help load everything and now I was being told on THE DAY OF that my reservation wouldn’t even be ready for pick up at 3pm!! NO ONE CALLED ME!! I had to initiate the call!! The nearest available truck was 45 minutes away to which we had to go pick up, of course. And then we were supposed to get a free extra day and free miles. I’m sorry, what? I had to find out by a phone call that I initiated that the reset at that I confirmed the day before wasn’t even available, no one had the decency to call and tell me, and all I got was an extra day?! And free miles? What about my time? How about knock $100 off? How about call your customers to check everything else went ok? The people the at the pick up location had nothing to do with u-Haul, they were just a third party storage, so they couldn’t do anything! Needless to say, U-Haul made an already stressful event even more so. I would not recommend.
Daiana PThe contract had me return the vehicle on Christmas day after I pointed that out to rental agent who remarked it would be accepted at the location or could be dropped off, which was done before due time and equipment was NOT checked in. Poor to Horrible.

robert sI made a call to the 1800 number for uhaul and the lady that I spoke to was very rude to me. She told me I had to go to the return location with my smart phone to check it in or it would not show I had returned the uhaul. I explained to her that I didn't have a way to go and my husband had returned the trailer this morning. She said I would still have to go to that location and check it in with my smartphone. I called the return location and the lady I spoke to was so nice and very helpful. She said she would check in the trailer and send me a confirmation. Please make sure your personal are trained properly before allowing them to deal with the public. The lady from the 1800 number needs to learn how to speak to people. Thanks

shane lSaturday staff not adequately trained on handling Uhaul rentals. The key was to be locked up in the truck. The provided lock did not work which may be why the key wasn't with the truck. The key was in the drop box and had to be retrieved by the staff. . If we would have arrived after hours we would have been delayed considerably. We had another charge when picking up the truck. Apparently the prepaid amount we made the day before leaving us a Zero balance wasn't sufficient. We had to pay more to pick up the truck. No reason was able to be given.

jonathan GI reserved this 1 mile from our house. I got an email that day telling me I had to go over 20 miles to get it. We left at 9:00 am. The address was wrong. It wasn’t even a uhaul, it was a private company. We couldn’t find it. After phone calls, by 1 pm it was located. They didn’t have the dolly we reserved. So frustrating. We didn’t get back to the house to load till 3:30, we had to go to another place to get a dolly. We were not happy about this situation. I would give this a below score
