The individual who took care of my reservation was very good and professional. The man she asked to go and get the truck for me, visually and verbally displayed shock that I was renting a 20’ moving truck and in front of me, asked her if she was certain of the size of the truck on the reservation. I believe this reaction occurred because I am female and have short hair. I of course had no problem driving the truck I had selected. This rental came from an affiliate, based on previous experience, I do not believe this would have happened at a u-haul rental facility.

Andrew TCivic Pride is amazing for parts and service but a terrible location to pickup a UHaul. The staff were great but the parking lot is super crowded and hard to navigate.

Cory VThe truck was filthy. When I left I had to go to another UH location on Bluewater Drive to pick up blankets. They were appalled when they saw the condition of the truck. One of their staff thoroughly cleaned the truck for me before I left (swept and mopped the back, scrubbed and wiped everything down in the cab). I would recommend that location for sure.
W. JWe were told to drop the vehicle off at 62A Bluewater Rd., (CivicPride Automotive )in Bedford. When we arrived we were told they would not accept it as there was no one available to check the vehicle in and we were to go up to 152 Bluewater Rd. instead where the U-Haul was located. The clerk at CivicPride made a phone call to the location he was telling us to go to, U-Haul at 152 Bluewater, and they also denied us dropping the vehicle off there as well. We ended up leaving the vehicle at CivicPride, and asked the clerk to come out and check the miles, gas, and back of truck, which he did and was very nice about it. We left with no paperwork or receipt only the CivicPride's employees name. We were very stressed about the overall customer service which also left us thinking we would be charged extra because we were not officially checked in when returning the vehicle in good condition. We also had put extra gas in the truck in error (it was at a 1/4 tank and we returned it 1/2 tank) and we hoped to be reimbursed as it cost us an extra $100.00. We had also hoped to be reimbursed the $10.00 we paid for the blankets. On top of this bad customer service, the next day after we dropped off the vehicle we received a call from another U-Haul satellite location Royal Automotive asking us where the vehicle was as they were expecting it to be dropped off to them. I had to explain the situation, the clerk was confused but polite. This left us with much more stress on us as we thought there was now final transaction on our credit card as we were never officially check in as having returned the vehicle. Overall we had very bad customer service the whole way through. and will be very hesitant to use or recommend U-Haul in the future. We would really like to be reimbursed for the extra gas we put in the truck and for the blankets we did not receive, yet paid for, and to obtain an official receipt that would include the actual mileage we were charged.
Robert WThere was no one in the office I was about to leave. There is no signage visible from the road. Some at the front door but blocked. When a guy showed up. It was fairly quick. He was good.
GEORGE SInclude the taxes in the online payment or at least make it clear taxes have to be paid at the pick up site. This makes the whole concept of checkin.in advance to reduce contact irrelevant.

Ryan RSuggestion: keep uhaul items cleaned and on a leveled and well maintained terrain so it's easier to connect to your vehicle (our trailer was left in a down slope in the Middle of tall grass). Trucks were also left without much care (as well on tall grass).

alan cDrop off location was located at another place which was nearby. When we dropped off Auto Transport, receptionist didn't know anything about receiving returned equipment. Back to first location to obtain clearance. Seemed to be good with that .
Paul VWe booked our rental online with a pick-up at 9am. We did the online check-in before going to make things faster for pick up. When we got the location the lady who normally works the counter did not come to work so the gentleman behind the counter had no idea what he was doing. He had to talk with someone on the phone step by step to complete customer transactions. Finally at 10am our paperwork was done and we drove to the lot to pick up our rental. We put the trailer on the hitch and then tried to plug in the wire for lights and realized there was a 4 flat plug, when we require a 7 wire. So I walked back up to the office to see where the adapter is, and they was told they don't have them or supply them. We were never told that we would have to supply our own adapter plug for the trailer lights. We got a number to call to talk to someone and she very obnoxious and rude to us about the plug and told us there was no way we could get a refund, because at this point, an hour after we were supposed to be on the road, we were ready to just walk away from this rental. We ended up driving to a store and buying a plug adapter for the trailer. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS LOCATION!! Terrible customer service here. Trailer hauled great.

Allan Mthe first place i went to pick up my trailer the guy said it was in a accident so we do not have a trailer for you . i drove all the way down from woodstock nb to bedford ns, the guys that works at the uhaul place did nothing to help, all he could say sorry nothing we can do . then i got a call from uhaul and they said sorry your trailer got rebooked, so there is two storys ,anywayi got a trailer at a diffenert place , NOT VERY HAPPY about the guy at uhaul

michael lThe service at this location was very poor. The person I delt with was inexperience and did not know how to operate the computer program. Another, person with not much experience had to assist. In the end the price they ended up with on the computer was way over the cost of prices quoted to me. At this point they had to phone someone at a Uhaul call center and turn the phone over to me to get things straightened out. This whole process took an hour to get done. Than I and the person waiting on me went to get the truck but he know where it was located and had to call someone to find it. Between the confusing costs of the rental rates and wasted time in getting the truck I would think twice about renting from Uhaul again and never would I get a truck from that locationagain.
robert mThe trailer worked great. The center that I rented from is a disaster. Dirty, unorganized, no one in the office, no parking, printer didn't work and no real signage. Has head office ever visited this location? You should be embarrassed to call this a Uhaul location its an auto repair shop.
Brian JI checked into UHaul online prior to arrival so that I could avoid a line up. The location had no UHaul signage and was difficult to find. UHaul equipment was located off site. I get there and after waiting 15 minutes I had to wait longer as one person only deals with UHaul. They were not ready for me, nor was a trailer waiting. Online check in and advanced payment was useless. Then I was asked to swipe my credit card again for a total different amount about $80-$100 more. I refused but to their benefit they sorted it out. Once that was straightened around, we went to the offsite lot I viewed the trailer and the inside stanch like seafood, and was littered with crab legs. Again to their benefit they swept it out and sprayed the back with Febreeze which delay with the situation.

Martin MThe guy who we spoke to when dropping off the cargo trailer didn’t write anything down saying the cargo trailer was returned. We got a call a few days later saying the trailer hadn’t been returned. We explained where it was dropped and that he didn’t take any info from us...they said it should be ok. We didn{t hear back so had to call again today to confirm they found it in the empty lot where we dropped it. I would never drop it there again we would drive to Dartmouth they were excellent when we returned a cargo trailer there a few weeks earlier!
Robert WU-Haul changed our location and was unreasonable when I already had a truck rented and they wanted to change it. They made me drive out of town to pick up a truck. The person dealing with me let it slip that they would have the truck at 8 am. So why didn’t u haul honour our original agreement and drive the truck to were I rented it. It’s also straight up silly that I had to pay for the extra millage and I can’t recommend U-Haul to anyone. My roommates are moving out in a month and I already told them about my experience.

Karyn MFriendly bunch, someone helped hook up the trailer I rented and I was on my way. Their parking lot is a bit tight to get around but if you can't handle that maybe you should not be renting and towing a trailer. :)
John Wtruck was clean, however - Rented Truck on a wet day - roof had patches that gave way to small leaks - was not verbally told about this before I took the truck Other than that, customer service was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful.
Jonathan meverything was great except that contract was to have back of truck cleaned and swept. It was not when we picked it up. all else was fine.

Ezaaz HI was told to park my car in the driveway and directed to park in the spot that I parked in. After finishing my move and coming back that night at 11:30 PM, I dropped the key in the drop box and went over to my car. My car had been double parked and I was unable to move it out of the space. I was then stuck in Bedford N.S Canada without a ride home, and eventually got ahold of my aunt who was able to pick me up about an hour later, in total I spent roughly 1.5-2 hours in the parking lot of the uhaul facility at midnight and didn't get home until around 1:30 A.M.

Adam MOverall good experience. The girl at reception was wonderful and very kind and helpful. She seemedvery knowledgeable. The man who hooked the trailer to the vehicle on the other hand, seemed demeaning I'm a quiet way. Making comments regarding moving vehicle closer when we weren't to his exact instructions ie. off by a few inches when backing up to the trailer, shaking his head and rolling his eyes. He made comments like "hope you can pull that".. "be careful, good luck" and made us feel incompetent.. our thoughts were because we were females. Held our heads high and pulled away like Champs and we're perfectly fine of course.. but his comments were unnecessary.
