On arrival to pick up the UHaul, I had picked self service which I quickly realized was not possible there. There was a man behind a closed door to the storage unit who had to give me the key and help me process my request, who had been watching us on the cameras very visibly confused on how to obtain the UHaul / check in / etc. We had to ring the doorbell to see if anyone was inside, where he then opened the garage to give us the keys. The whole experience was odd / uncomfortable and took longer than expected or needed to. Other than that, the facility appears clean and the truck was what would be expected.

I tried to return the truck through the app and it locked up twice when I tried to take pictures of the outside of the truck. I certainly hope I won’t be charged for NOT using the app - I tried and it kept glitching. For a process that pushes use of the app so much, I’d be sure the app was in working order. Convenient pick up location and more chill than a traditional Uhaul store. Documentation process via the Uhaul app took longer than I expected; photos of everything including myself and my drivers license required before the rental starts. The app is much improved and works well. That’s the trade off for being able to pick up a van anytime - just need to budget for the time.

On line check I was very confusing. It would have been nice if the truck was where I originally requested it or within 5 to 10 minutes. Besides this part - everything else went very smooth. On line ordering and phone calls for help - everyone was very helpful.

The truck was not clean on the inside of cab There was coffee spills all on the door the cup holder was dirty I don't even think the truck was sanitized from the last use

I did not receive the dolly that was supposed to be in the truck upon pick up. I did the self pick up so the office was not open and there wasn't anyone to assist.

Months ago I scheduled a pick up at a location near me. I arrived the day before to confirm the truck would be there but I was surprised to learn that not only would the truck not be there, but that I would get a call sometime during that day telling me where I would be able to pick up the truck. I was handed in 800 number and told I had to call and figure things out on my own if I didn’t want to wait for that call? I called and found out the truck would be at a location 10+ miles from my home and not at a staffed location- that I had to watch a video and go through all kinds of gymnastics on my phone in order to pick the vehicle up. This truly was a poor experience. I’ll rent through Penske the next time

The vehicle was in good condition and the interior was clean. The location itself was easy to find, and I was quickly able to drive the truck off the lot. One major drawback was that the truck was only provided with a 1/4 tank of gas. I should have been credited for any gas above 1/4 tank when returned.

This is in a warehouse area, so not very inviting. I tried to call this location today but was on eternal hold. I have no finalized bill as all I have is a screen shot I took while doing the online return that says thank you and this request for a review. I know this is an issue with U-Haul in general and not the location but why no finalized bill?

Street was blocked off on both ends and it took me a while to figure out how to get the van on the street and there were no instructions on where to park it.

This is a good location for drop off or pick up if you live in the downtown Cleveland area. It would be helpful if the area to leave the Uhaul vehicles were clearly marked. It is in an old warehouse area and it seems the UHauls are parked outside of the gated business on the street. We did return the UHaul truck a little after 5:00 while it was still still light outside. We were able to walk back to downtown Cleveland which was nice.
