We got over charged and told it would go back on our card and never did.got the small uhaul to go from Gilmer TX to Branson Mo 386 miles but he charged us 200 and then the next day another 700 ?? And he said the first time we got the quote it would be 400 don't understand and still no money back yet smh

The owner wasn’t there when I got there, when I called he said he was 30 minutes away, didn’t actually get back until over an hour passed, since I was in a hurry (I should have read the contract before trusting the right amount of gas was in the U-Haul) I didn’t check the gas immediately and fix it on the link. The U-Haul he gave me had like half a tank less gas in it than he said on the contract. The contract said it was 81% full when in reality it was barely over a 1/4 a tank. Luckily I did take a picture of it after I stopped where I was going and the U-Haul people over the phone were EXTREMELY helpful and nice and I have been issued a refund. I was very upset with this location in particular though. Only plus side was that the owner seemed nice when he finally showed up. He also apologized for being late.

Take his partnership! He was very unprofessional, charged me miles I didn’t use, told me truck was 30 dollars when I got there he said $100 dollars and that I’ll be reimbursed what I didn’t use. Took him 4 days just to check the truck in which was weird never gave no paperwork, no receipt and just flat out lied looked at his reviews and they are horrible, I wouldn’t recommend nobody to him to get scammed

The location and the customer service at Clean as a Whistle #2 was great. What wasn't great was that I received a phone call the day before my reservation telling me that the size of truck I reserved on JULY 10 was not available and that I had to drive to Gladewater to pick it up. I reserved a 20" truck to be picked up in Longview and it was changed to a 26" truck to be picked up in Gladewater. I was told that I would not have to pay the extra fee that was incurred due to the truck size nor would I have to pay for the extra mileage that would be on there for having to drive to Gladewater from Longview just to pick up the truck. I had to pay extra for the truck just to pick it up. I don't understand how I did not have the truck I reserved on July 10 for July 20... I would think that it would be reserved for me.

I returned the U-Haul truck and trailer 3 days early on a Friday but this location didn’t check in the truck until Tuesday after I called U-Haul 3 times. Thankfully I wasn’t charged any late fees

I wasn’t very happy with the location due to where it was at and that there was no place to leave my vehicle unattended for the time. I would not recommend this location because nobody should leave their vehicle on the side of the road.

Needs better customer service. Needs to be on time and not have customers waiting for them to arrive from his trucking business. Also a better explaining of the charges if we will return it somewhere else and not there location. We return it to their location and waited even longer while did a lot of talking to others. We had to play waiting game again to get the trailer unhook from his employees who works for his car detail business. Very disappointing.

I was scheduled to pick up trailer at 9:30, the u haul owner did not show up until 10:35. I called the Shreveport location that scheduled the pick up and said “sir he doesn’t open until 10” , again, they scheduled me for 9:30. Ultimately didn’t show until 10:35. After he shows up his computer wasn’t working and said he didn’t know I was coming. Equipment was fine but service was a 0/10. Would never recommend this location

Only car detailers were there when I dropped the truck and trailer. Filthy building, lot and I was told to come back to see the owner even though I was there a couple of hours past the posted hours of operation. I never saw or heard from anyone. Ever. Period. I've used U-Haul dozens of times all across the country and have never seen or experienced such a lack of service. Shame on them!

This place was deplorable and I would hope and expect that UHaul would discontinue any association with this individual. He was very unpleasant and even exclaimed that UHaul is just his “tinker-toy” and uses as a tax write-off. His demeanor and character was vulgar. The truck was empty of gas and filthy.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I received a call from Uhaul reservations. I Had a reservation for 1:00 PM pick UP in Gilmer but due to availability I had to pick up at this location instead. Arrived shortly before 1:00PM & was told the only person who could do the paperwork for my trailer rental was at lunch & would be back shortly. An hour & a half later the, what I'm assuming is the owner showed up. He said our reservation wasn't on his log before he went to lunch which is untrue. I was told by customer service our reservation was downloaded to his log that morning while she was speaking to me about the location change so it WAS there. He either didn't check his log before taking off for lunch or just flat out lied. Either way, he was very rude, condescending and dismissive. To top everything off, I had my stepfather go pick up the trailer and instead of charging my Debit card which was on file with the reservation, He made my stepfather pay with his debit card instead of calling me for authorization! I will NEVER pick up from this location again! Oh! And all the trailers were piled on top of each other so he had to bang the thing around to get it "unstuck" from the other trailers. My stepdad informed him we would NOT be paying for the damage he was causing to the equipment! I could go on & on but won't.

This was a horrible experience an absolute nightmare that lasted for 4 days and countless hours on the phone trying to get it straightened out. The man wasn't there at my reserved pickup time, didn't get truck until 3 hours later, he had a hacking cough that he didn't try to contain, wrong odometer and fuel reading, checked 2 trucks out on my account rather than one, return location was wrong and time, overcharged us for the small dolly and refused to give us the larger one we needed because it was too much hassle (charged $10 for the $7 dolly and he wouldn't give us the $10 one-there was no mistaking the correct price they are written in large numbers on dollies), made husband email his DL even though he was standing right there, he couldn't get our email correct (after multiple times of spelling it for him) to mail us the contract
