The truck was parked around the corner so I didn't get to it on time. After spending over an hour on the phone with customer service I was guided to the keys (the app wasn't letting me use location, nor was the browser, even after selecting to specifically â€œallowâ€ location on both, and after a hike I found the truck behind a huge tree. There has to be a better way for this service to work. The top of the cake though, is that I was then instructed to take a photo of where the truck was parked â€œto help the next family find the truckâ€ I wish that would have been implemented in my original pick up. Also I was charged twice. Will not ever use this service again.Bernard S.

I usually call in my request right up front, and the employees have always been very polite and very helpful-highly recommended to everyone that I knowERIC P.
Customers should be told to take pics to show proof of mileage and gas gauges. I didn't do so & ended up paying for over 38 miles when the house I moved to was only 2.7 miles away. The gas gauge was at 1/2 tank & I filled up to that mark, but was later billed & told they had to fill up. Equipment was fine, but customers need to beware if you don't have pics you can be charged a lot more. I paid over $100. I will warn others if they lease to take pics for proof so they don't get additional fees. Lesson learned.MARY L.

Had problems getting to the page to check in but once I got there everything was fine. I did think the Covid question was funny. I left the vehicle with more gas than was in it, they charged me for fuel. it's little things like this that lose business. It was only nine dollars but it's the principle that I decided to leave more gas than what they left me and they still try to sneak a charge in on me.JUSTIN S.

This has been one of the worst storage units I’ve ever used. From the first day I got my until all the way till the last day. When I came looking for a storage they only had the biggest ones available so that’s what I had to purchase, that’s fine, but also the storage unit did have bed frames and trash and more furniture inside of it that I had to take to the trash. A few months pass & fast forward to the process of moving out, this facility had charged my card and it was never authorized by the card holder, the workers never even informed me of charging the card at all. Workers stated that you are NOT allowed to throw any trash in their dumpster, despite the dumpsters always being full with trash and furniture all around it. During the process of getting my money refunded the office ladies STATED that they would be “waiting a few days” to refund my money because they didn’t want to refund it yet, they decided to keep some of my money so I did not receive a full refund! These ladies that work up here have been very unhelpful and disrespectful, coming out while I am loading my items on to a trailer trying to give us a hard time every day. I met the ladies atClosets & Garages Self Storage last year when I turned in a truck when I moved to Denison and I really liked them, they are very helpful and you could not ask for any better service. I moved out of state this year and ran into a couple of issues and they went above and beyond helping me with my move. I am so thankful that they are the ones I rented from. The area for business was cramped, the drop off spot was a good 50 yards from the office. I had asked for a location that I had used before which was 8 miles from my house but was sent here another 4 miles. There are many pick up and drop offs in Sherman but was sent 12 miles to Denison.Stephen D.

Feel like we shouldn't have to pay the extra day as I called the number and held for 15mins waiting then realized I could check in on line by phone that way. Weren't really that late as we picked up way after 7 and pulled in before 830 for drop off. Next time I'll use another truck line. I paid for extra day and it's sitting not being use.Kelly S.

I am a long time Uhaul customer. I have spent many thousands of dollars renting equipment. My wife and I are retired Military and have completed many do-it-yourself moves. This was absolutely the worst piece of equipment I could have been given. I was given local rental vehicle for a 400 mile, one-way rental. The truck had 170,000 miles. The air conditioner did not work. Thus made the trip to south Texas very uncomfortable Approximately 3/4 thru the trip the engine oil light came on, That was followed by the check engine light near the end of my trip. I was on a deadline and could not stop to have it checked. I slowed to 40-45 mph on highway to hopefully limit damage and avoid breakdown. This made the trip much longer than necessary, again with no air conditioning in the Texas heat. This truck never should have been sent out on a one-way. The owner/attendant at the check in location agreed. He suggested I call the dispatch location on complain. I did and was simply referred to a district manager. The DM did not return my call. I am very disappointed that Uhaul rented me this piece of equipment and when related back treated me like "well stuff happens". I hope to be able to talk to someone and explain my feelings.
