Rebecca R.I used the pickup truck for 22 miles to haul a boat to spring maintenance and the fuel efficiency for this truck is around 18-19 mpg. I needed to put about 5 gallons of gas ($20.xx) to bring the fuel gage to full. The last driver of this truck di not top off the tank and the U haul rep couldn't tell since the gauge read full. So inherently I paid for someone else's use of the truck. i don't now what u Haul can do about this but I'm letting you know.

DAVE M.The cargo area was dirty and had broken China in it. Windshield wipers needed replacement. The UHaul website was terribly slow when I picked up the truck. After almost 5 minutes of refresh-wait 30-60 seconds, refresh-wait, etc I finally connected and was able to complete the process. It was almost as bad when I returned it. Even when I clicked on the “please tell us about your experience†link while on high-speed wifi at work, I had to wait-refresf-wait before the site worked.

John M.The U-Haul website is terrible, particularly at web-pickup. The system makes putting in your information in advance very cumbersome. And, importantly, even though I reserved days in advance, the local store had no idea I was coming. My scheduled time was 30 minutes before they opened. If a manager hadn't arrived early and helped me I would have been late with the truck. The local store is terrific.

Frederick M.The truck driver side door needed some work done on it as it did not shut well. The truck had been smoked in which was unpleasant. The attendant rated the gas level at 7/8 when it was really between 3/4 and 1/2 full, which cost me money. Otherwise it was a very good experience.

MELISSA G.I think the odometer in the truck was wrong in that I know exactly how far a mile is from my house and the trucks odometer read 1.2 miles. Feel like I was overcharged for mileage, otherwise great rental.
