I found out today that my debit card was used for my rental. It must be "in your system" from a prior rental. I used a Best Buy credit card when I actually paid the ending bill. I have 5 overdrafts in my checking account because I assume the default debit card was chosen--not my credit card.

Friendly and helpful service. The parking situation was a bit awkward, and the person helping us went out of his way to come up with a creative solution to help us move the trailer to the drop-off area in a safe and logical manner. Very good customer service at this shop.

Herb made the entire transaction smooth and efficient from the reservation to the return. I have to say that the cargo vans are a fantastic truck for the application. This is the third time I've rented one of the cargo vans and they are great on gas and handle very well. I will say Ace hardware does an excellent job of processing the job

Didn't realize that we could pick up a 16' truck for our August move and ordered it from Portland. Now our Ace Hardware said we can save steps by picking it up in Yarmouth. Called Portland but they never transferred the order to Yarmouth Ace Hardware. What do we do.

I inadvertently went thru a toll in Maine turnpike I immediately called the MTA and tried to make it right !(impossible) I notified the rental location when dropping off the vehicle & tried to pay it then they refused. I was notified by unsullied tried to pay over the phone entered all data refused payment saying I had the wrong phone number called customer service to get a resolve, your customer service line is useless no one answered after holding on for a total of 14 minutes! This simple snafu should not take so much time and you should allow the rental vendor take payment when you have the time & date of the offense within a rental contract. Very disappointed with the failure to allow me to simply pay after I’ve repeated entered data!!

Excellent. Your online communication is not clear. Too many emails of conflicting information when a change is made. My son was the driver and now you send me my receipt with his name on the invoice which is wrong. It is my receipt, the payer, the initiator, the communicator and the person who reserved the truck. Why would you place the driver as the invoice payee...

Yarmouth location was great but this whole experience was horrible. I rented a 20' truck and wanted to pick it up at Paper party store. I made the reservation on 12/17 for 12/28. Found out via confirmation a day I was supposed to pick it up that they gave me a 26' truck. Called because the size was too big and the man that answered, Matt at the Paper Party Store, was rude and not helpful and seemed bothered that I had an issue with the size of the truck. I asked him where I could find one and he said "call marginal way." I asked him if he could make the call, and he said "nope, you have to do it." Then he mumbled something under his breath and hung up on me. I called the marginal way store to see if they had a truck and they said they had a 20' truck. I had them switch my reservation to over there and had them send me a confirmation that it was all set, which I received via email as well as a verbal confirmation. Went to marginal way the next day and was told no one put the reservation in and that the truck wasn't there. Waited at the counter for 45 mins as Carlos Suarez told me that if you call the center and ask for a specific truck, they will just say yes to you every time even if we don't have it. This caused me to have to go to another location 20 mins away in the snow to get another truck at a further location. Everyone kept passing the buck and it was a very unsatisfactory experience. I will think twice about renting a uhaul again. This experience had me driving around from store to store in a snow storm, and wasting 2 hours that I was supposed to use to pack the truck. Not a happy customer at all.

Utility trailer states it is a 5 x 9 when actually it is on 4'9" which was a huge difference for me because I was picking up a 4-wheeler with 5" plow attached. Huge inconvenience which could have been avoided if the measurements were correct on your end.
