i dropped off after hours
Michael OThe Coldshot location pickup process took over an hour and a half, as something is clearly off with their machine. Contacted the bank after selecting my savings account twice and not working, bank said they could see the setup was trying to pull from chequing... then tried choosing chequing in hope of it pulling from savings, still didn't work... I was using RBC, very common! Had to go to bank to pull cash then came back. I arrived 15 minutes early at 1:45 and didn't get out till 3:15. I inquired about my deposit (as I paid with cash) and was assured I get my deposit back once I drop the trailer off in Lethbridge. I dropped the trailer off a day early, and the attendant at the Petro Canada said thank you and have a good day, I asked what about my deposit? She asked how I paid (couldn't see that on her end I think), told her cash. I was then informed that I had to wait for a cheque!!! Really?!? I was not informed at coldshot of this at all... even the Petro Canada lady (really nice) said she wishes other locations would inform the customer about it. Service (except drop off) was sub par, not as smooth as other times I've used Uhaul. Coldshot location needs machine configuration checked/fixed, and a touch more training for the process of deposit return process. Otherwise, the gentleman doing the process seemed nice. It just shouldn't have taken so long...

darcy mThe trailer wasn’t clean when I got it but the guy wanted to charge me for cleaning when I returned it. He must have realized it wasn’t clean and I didn’t get charged. But I had to explain a few times it wasn’t clean when I received it.

Jerry MThe inside of the teuck was not clean3d out. There were belongings left in the cab from someone else. When I picked up the truck, my balance due was not what was quoted to me. Then there was confusion about the amount of km to give me. He was asking us to google distances etc. The lady on the phone with uhal was giving miles not km and in the end they tried to charge me for going over except they never gave me enough in the first place to even get to my destination. Then said I could have a discount to drop it off in lake country but I was going to vernon so they took my deposit and debit my account for even more money. When talking with customer service I was told too bad and hung up on twice. I hope I never have to use uhaul again. They have had customer service and it was one issue after another. I left grand prairie made it as far as calgary decided to sleep there then left calgary amd went to vernon. No extra stops . Not cool at all.

Elizabeth WOverall very friendly service. Gentleman behind the counter was easy to understand, well spoken and very helpful. Really easy to pick up the trailer and drop off.

Rena DTrailer didn’t come with light plug and made me pay to buy one before I could leave. Also had very poor customer service.
Neil FThe location was fine, however when I called and expressed that I was stuck and needed the U-Haul for longer as I couldn’t move into my house and had no where for my belongings to go, I was told no. The first day I was told the U-Haul I reserved wasn’t available and to drive 2 hours each way if I wanted the correct size. So I took a smaller U-Haul, but when I needed one more day I was refused. Not happy with the customer service at U-Haul.

We had several calls with uhaul and days before organized an alternate pick up location that I was guaranteed. (still 1.5hours out of the way) 24 hours before I get a call that we now have to travel 2.5hours in the opposite direction to pick up a truck. It was such a mess. We were able to move the date and pick up the truck but it delayed our moving help and was stressful not knowing if we had a vehicle to move the day before.

arlando gI asked for a paper copy of receipt with how much we paid , was told would be provided when we dropped off , a invoice was provided at drop off location Invoice just stated we dropped trailer off there was no dollar amount on it Other uhaul places provide a proper invoice Trailer was dirty on outside( we took pictures) we have rented u hauls before so we knew trailer had to be clean, we were told it was nothing to worry about I do not have a smart phone with internet My wife had to be present to get trailer as this location would not assist me with producing paper copy of rental agreement Overall very poor service, will not rent again from this location
Reuben ANo problems with pick up location but your reservation process is garbage. Reserved a 6x12 over 2 weeks before move and get a call saying there are no 6x12 in grande prairie the day before I move. I won't be wasting my time with uhaul in the future.
Cody BGet rid of that representative in grande prairie Brutal…they rented me a truck with a flat tire an empty gas tank no washer fluid snow and ice all over it that I had to clean after I almost broke my neck slipping on the side step Worst experience I ever had !!!!!!

I am not sure what this is in reverance to and would have appre Iated a call first to figure out what happened before I get charged for a late fee. Suyapa SQuick and dirty. No return paperwork, no inspection, just drop off in yard with the other trailers.
Richard BI used the phone app for pre check-in, convienient, however questions were repeated at the depot, the pre check-on was supposed to save time.

Amir EGeoff & his associate at Cold Spot in Grande Prairie, AB. was very accommodating for my complicated needs. Martina is extremely efficient with complicated situations and was calm in dealing with me as a customer. Martina is the supervisor of Uhaul for the Northern Region of Alberta! Thank you both. I will be back again.

Jean CA little more space between rental units so it’s easier to return them, the space I returned the trailer to had 6” space either side of the trailer to the next trailer on either side. Equipment worked well though, and the dealer was good to deal with.
