I ordered a truck with furniture pads. This location didn’t have any furniture pads, and was unable to tell me where to get the pads. Uhaul website should direct customers who need moving equipment to a full service uhaul center, not a gas station.

The attendant was impatient and rude, NOT helpful at all. I spent quite awhile on the phone with Custoker Service - on hole and being switched from agent to agent. Initially they wanted me to drive to another location - which would have added more mileage. I was told to pit the agent on the phone and he was NOT happy about having to accept the truck and it showed. It was such an extremely unpleasant and stressful situation that I believe I should be given a full or partial refund for time and aggravation because your system is so messed up! Trust me when I say that I’m spreading the word, DO NOT use U-Haul!!!!

The person at drop off refused to take the truck and did not offer an alernative. Even after showing them the paperwork showing we were supposed to drop off there they still refused and threatened to call the police. They put the keys back on our dashboard when we tried to tell them we had already checked out online and could no longer drive the vehicle. Finally was able to talk to their manager and leave truck there. This person needs to be better trained in customer service and informed of Uhaul policies.

It’s very misleading. I was checking out on the website on my phone and the employee in that location said no it’s okay I will take over from here. Online the price was 25.95 and when he took over and asked for the card he charged us 44.54. I said before you process it I had it cheaper online. He said don’t worry this is with coverage and taxes. When you return the van I will charge you the right amount. When I came back with dad he charged us the full price that’s 44.54 and again as I mentioned online was 25.95. He didn’t accept giving us that price. This is not acceptable for the respectable uhaul company. Very misleading.

Owner also had to tend to the gas station and constantly stopped work on helping me out to help others at the cash register. This made the process take ten times longer and was very annoying.

It was a terrible experience. The guy was very impatient and not willing to help. When he was dealing with my rental, he never hesitated to put it aside andhelp any other custmer stepping in the convenient store.

This location has inexperienced employees. Our checkout was a nightmare, it took us over half an hour to get the truck. The cashier did not know how to add an additional driver, dumber than a box of rocks. We have rented at this location before and this is the last time.

Using the mobile app to access the car took at least 30 minutes- in that time frame another customer came and left w/ a u-haul using the person inside the exxon to get the truck. I should have done that instead, but advertising made the mobile pickup seem more efficient. Very frustrating just waiting around- please work on this!

The person at the return location (Exxon) was not very helpful. He told me he could only take the key and I would have to process the return online. I got home to find out I had to be at the drop off location to process the return so I had to drive back 30 mins to Exxon and get someone to let me back in the truck so I could take a picture of the odometer and gas gauge. That wasted an hour of my time during a very busy day. Not pleased.

When I left I noticed the fuel tank was at 7/8 full yet it was marked as full. When I went to pay I was told it's my responsibility to check and make sure the tank is full before driving off so they would need to charge me. Fortunately, I had video taped the fuel level and the clock in the vehicle showing I had just left so I wasn't charged. This happens WAY too often with rental vehicles (and I travel quite a bit) which makes me think it's a scam to rip off customers and have us top off the vehicles for you. Over time I'd assume this equates to a huge savings. Not a good customer service tactic though.

Grass & landscaping debris inside van. "I'll make a note of that." was the comment the sales agent said instead of, let me clean that out for you or let's switch vans. Once I was done in 3 hours, got it back parked it in front of the building, parking & maneuvering difficult here. Handed the keys over, he went out to check the milage & gas and then asked ME to move it & park it. POOR CUSTOMER SERVUCE compared to other UHAUL rental places I have used. Never was I told to park it after I dropped it off and they checked it over. I should've told him no way since he couldn't even cleaned it out before I drove off with it. I will make sure I let everyone know not to use that place when asked!!!

Look elsewhere. The location is a gas station where I had to wait almost 20 minutes to be helped. The truck stunk of blue crabs and was dirty inside. The gas station attendant suggested that I should park my car illegally across the street in another businesses parking lot.

Worst experience in 45 years renting vehicles. College Plaza Exxon has NO CUSTOMER PARKING for U-Haul customers and I was told to park in the office building lot across Frederick Rd. Sign there warns unauthorized vehicles will be towed. Improve for the next customer by terminating U-Haul franchise at College Plaza Exxon.

Having reserved this location for drop off, the attendant told me he had no parking and because I had no papers from the pick up location, I could not return the truck. They told me to go to a nearby location that was closed. After explaining I had reserved this location they proceeded to look up the reservation online and only then did they accept the drop off in a bad mood.

There was no call to confirm my reservation like I was told there would be, so I visited the location the night before my reservation to confirm myself. The associate wasn't friendly, was very dismissive, and told me there was no need to confirm my reservation at all. When I picked up my reservation, it was a different associate and still unfriendly. The vehicle was clean. When dropping the vehicle back off early (12+ hours prior to it being due), I felt rushed to leave and not trusted. I was asked to turn the truck on to confirm the mileage and gas levels twice with no explanation as to why I needed to the second time.

Parking was difficult, we had to move the u-haul and park my car exactly where the van had been. When we came back, one of the car salespeople parked a car in the spot for our u-haul as we were trying to back it into the space. Its a really bad location because you aren't allowed to park anywhere else because they rent the spaces to car sales, it was frustrating. The guy who helped us with the reservation was lovely though.

This location over charge for the fuel. I used 64.7 miles and I filled 7.1 gal. They charge again $5.43 (1.28 gals) I will never lent this again.

The online "check-in" process was horrible. It was length, and required confirmation of family phone numbers while I was trying to get inside the vehicle. Confirmation of phone numbers should be during the reservation, not at pickup. Additionally, the location was confused by the online check-in and he was not comfortable giving me the keys. Overall the online process needs to be made much smoother.

they tried to get over on us, they never checked the truck from pick up. so when we brought it back for drop off he tried to get more money out of us. telling us that we needed to full the truck up, the truck wasnt clean! but you charged us for the extra milage when we 9had to swipe the truck out! that area is bad bussiness they didnt know what they was doing they tried to charged me 136 0n top of the 86 i already paid. i beleive they was adding extra things on. overall thats a poor loction toi rent from

The man I dealt with, was in a word, a nightmare. My fiancé and I were speechless, with his unprofessionalism, both in the store, and when I called after I left. He was rude on the phone to begin with, rude in the gas station, he didn’t seem to know what he was doing when he was entering my information into then computer, I was coaching him through it. He kept leaving me to help with customers in the gas station (the process should have taken a total of 5-10 min max) he had a hard time understanding what information he needed. Finally, after waiting over 30 minutes and talking him through his own online process, I was walked outside and handed a key and told this is good? I can go now. I said isn’t there a sheet to fill out or inspection? He said it’s good, bye. I hadn’t rented from uhaul in a while, so I figured that they don’t have a policy similar to rental cars, where you inspect the vehicle together, so I left. Due to the extreme waste of time it took to get the truck, I was left running late. As I am driving I see matches on the floor and the interior of the truck stinks. The visor holder fell off and hit me in the face, and the truck hitch ball doesn’t have enough space for my receiver, so I couldn’t even use the truck for it’s intended purpose. I will say, the customer service line has been amazing. The guy at the uhaul pick up was terrible, but every single person I’ve spoken to on the 1800 number has been amazing.

When I arrived to drop off the truck, I was ignored by the person behind the counter, when i said excuse me he was like "what?" I said i was there to return the U-Haul truck he told me to "Come back later" when i told him i had a set time to return the truck he told me to sit down and wait.. Very rude and unprofessional...

The person in charge of this store is not there , his employee had to called him to process my orden and to received the truck. It is complicated if you do not have enough time to wait for him.They charged me 11% because I paid by credit card. The reasonable rate in credit card transaction is 0.05 . No recommend this store.

so, this is gas station, small inside. persons ugly - this people to sell tobacco and water form kiosk and after u next customer and this same guy going to another side this gas station and behind fridge with energy drinks had a computer and making contract, after he printing contract but don t give u copy, u just had a chance make a photo from u phone. and again is very smell. same is going with pick up and drop truck.

I reserved my van two weeks ahead of my event. I was informed that my pick up location had been changed the day before. Called and was told that I could pick up at the original location. When I got to original location, was told they didn't have my van. This whole experience was a monumental pain in my ass and I don't expect to rent from this location (and possibly U-Haul in general) again.

very bad service the gas station employee didn't know how to operate the co operation computer. didn't given me any paperwork not before nor after. had itemes added to my rental. i have rented the truck only he had other itemes like blanket etc. he didn't know how to remove them from my bill .due to the fact that he know i didn't take any items. it took me forever to get out of there . i had to live not knowing what he will charge me. it was a horrible experience. and also uhaul blackmail me to pay a disputed item that i had from a year ago that i might add no one talk to me about it ever. i had to pay $55.00 before i can rent a truck. as a person who rent many times from you guys. I feel horrible.

I have used this loation efore and it was a problem then. They never can find my reservation even with the number, there is never the equipment that I add, and they will NEVER give a paper receipt. The person at the register told me that they never give a receipt but I can take a picture of it with my phone. I said to him, what about the paper work should I have to shoe it to the police? He said to show them my phone. THAT WAS THE ABSOLUTE LAST TIME THAT I WILL GO THERE!!!!

Uhaul was double parked when I arrived, took 30 minutes of my reservation to actually get U-Haul. When I was done and parked the U-Haul back at the location, I checked out on the app, and then attempted to return the key to the employee and he did not understand what to do and it took about another 30 minutes after returning the U-Haul to actually leave.

The only frustrating part was that there was 1 person at the register. He had to help people get gas, check out food items and help me at a different part of the store. So it took him a long time before he was able to break away as it is a very busy store.

I spent over 25mins to get the key to the truck because their was only one attendant for filling station and Uhaul. The time wastage is much. Please look into this aspect. Otherwise every other thing seems good.

When I drove up and entered the office and told the attendant I was there to drop off a truck, the first thing he told me was to go to another location. Really???? When I picked up the truck in NY, the attendant gave me a choice of locations that had space for me to drop off the truck, which this location was one of them. Only after I insisted on leaving the truck did the attendant acquiesce, but with major ATTITUDE. When he was moving the truck, he was so upset he hit a parked u-haul truck. After my two experiences I will be using another company. I can’t believe you want to be represented this way.

Every time we rent a truck in this gas station we need to wait more than have an hour as they are busy attending the customers for sodas, cigarettes, candies and etc, only 1 person do everything the guy was rude and offer really bad service on top of that the guy mark as the truck was with a 1/4 tank of gas and I show him that was low, he told me dont worry, at the time to pay they charge me almost $50 extra for 3 gallons of gas when I received almost empty, all the truck with broken glasses on all the floor and dirty They didn't give me any receipt or anything as proof of registration, only a picture of a paper

The agent refused to take my truck saying there was no room for my 10” truck, when clearly there was room to take three more trucks the same size. I had to call customer service but couldn’t get any help either. Eventually had to go back to plead with the agent to assist me since I came from out of State.

The person who helped me first did not know what he was doing. They charged me for insurance when I specifically told him I did not want insurance. They gave me the paper with an estimate amount I was going to pay at the end of the contract and I told him again at that point I did not want insurance and his response was that that was just an estimate and the final amount was going to be charged when I return the truck. When I came back to retun the truck someone else was there and also did not know what he was doing. He gave me the final amount including insurance, I explained my conversation with the first individual and he told me I chose insurance in the first place when I placed my order online. I’m not happy with the service provided today and very un satisfied with the over charge after telling the first individual I did not want insurance. This experience will make me think twice before even considering using the company in the future again.

Have filed complaint with uhaul because of such a horrible experience. We will never use uhaul again because complaint is also not being handled well since original report. We use uhaul a lot due to frequent moving and will not be using ever again.

I took a van with its dimensions in mind. When I started loading I realized both back wheels inside of the van take a significant amount of space, preventing me from loading all items that should normally fit. A warning in the space provided would help customers choose a more appropriate truck.

The manager is a nice guy who is training his employees to process the transaction. I hope the front desk will be able to process themselves so they don't need to call the manager.
