The rental was easy and quick. Store employee was very polite and efficient. I was in and out in a matter of moments. Upon my return, the truck was checked to make sure everything was appropriate. I would recommend this to my friends. Particularly this location.

Oshan MOne tire was low on air, the windshield wiper fluid was out, and there was a notification that the side loader door was ajar and it would not go away. I rented a van and it doesn't even have a door there.
CHARLES MI was not informed there wouldn’t be anyone at the gas station to take my key upon return at midnight. I was charged an extra day. I also made a reservation without insurance and I see two days charged of safemove insurance. I am not happy with the person that checked me in and charged me for things I didn’t agree to on my reservation.
Claudia MI am writing to provide feedback regarding a negative experience I encountered during my recent reservation process at your College Plaza Exxon location on February 23. I experienced issues with my reservation: the system did not accept my phone number, and the app was not recognizing my driver’s license. When I sought assistance, the attendant on duty was reluctant to help. Not only did he ask for my phone number and driver’s license in a dismissive manner, but his non-verbal cues—specifically a facial expression that made me feel as though I were being insulted—were also extremely off-putting. When my wife attempted to interject and inquire further about the issue, he curtly replied, “This is what appears to me, I don't know more,” without any further assistance or courtesy. I am disappointed by the lack of professionalism and courtesy shown, and I hope you will look into this matter to improve your customer service. I value the reputation of U-Haul and trust that appropriate steps will be taken to address this incident. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

U-Haul process is complex more than necessary, on the website I choose to not have insurance and not provide additional contact but on the location, the guy asked for additional contact and every time stop to talk to me to serve people in the store who arrived after me. On the end the price was different, than was selected additional insurance that I do not select previously. Was a very Ned experience because I was in a hurry to have time to do what I needed to do with the truck and return it on time. This location also do not have space to let customer car during rent.

They have all these parked used cars parked on site with no license plates parked and taking all the space for us to park the car ! and there is a rude guy working there that i can't stand! so rude .

William DI was very surprised that when I arrived, the clerk could not help me complete the checkin process. I was told I had to use my phone to complete the checkin process. I had to go back home because I didn’t have adequate cell signal on my phone and didn’t have my reading glasses to adequately see my phone screen. Very difficult process. I won’t be using U-Haul again if I can help it and definitely would not recommend to other people.
Jamie NEverything with respect to this rental was an abject disaster. I rented a cargo van for three hours. I was told when I arrived I could not park my car at the location while using the van. This wasn’t disclosed until I got there. I ordered a dolly and moving blankets with my rental. Neither were provided and the attendant refused to provide them. Further, The van’s AC was out. Also, the app failed and, “the system,” was down so customer service was unable to help me when I tried to return the vehicle. I left the van there on a wing and a prayer that it would not be damaged after I left it.

Hamid MVan was dirty. Broken glass in the passenger department. Air conditioner didn't work. The fact that there was no inspection of the vehicle when I returned it explained the poor condition when I received it. It got the job done but it was obvious that no pride was taken in renting it to me.

cesar rVery difficult to park truck there, issues with the onset of renting due to the website not loading properly, had to take pictures 4x to get them all to stay on the webpage. The inside of the truck was covered in pet hair abs the back of the truck had to be swept out from all the dirt prior to being able to put anything in there. The gentlemen working behind the counter were helpful though for both drop off and pick up, that’s about the only positive. The location should be noted that it’s not an actual U-Haul location and just a drop off/pick up point for online bookings only.

The person "checking you in" was rude, didn't care about the customer, and made you self check in without his assistance. The attendant made you feel like you were bothering him to rent his truck. Never again will I go to this location.

Seemeen HVery poor check-in procedure. Online only. User at the gas station was not very accepting and seemed frustrated at having to complete Uhaul rentals. Truck was jammed into a small parking space and difficult to back out with no assistance from attendant. I reserved a utility dolly with my truck, but it was not supplied with the truck. Attendant said to reach out to another branch to get. Drove to nearest branch that my original reservation went through, and they did not have a dolly either. I spent 2 hours of the rental, just driving around to find this as it was needed for me to complete my move. Ended up calling Uhaul Customer service to find a location to get the dolly needed and had to drive to an adjacent town to get. Customer service was very helpful, I was just frustrated with the experience. When returning the truck, the parking place was no longer available. Attendant was not helpful in finding another place to park and suggested I try and pull the truck into a space that was about 2 feet larger than the truck itself. I declined to do so for sheer fact of possible damage to surrounding vehicles, to which attendant frustratingly just had me pull the truck in front of the building access and park it. Absolutely not an ideal location to rent a vehicle and experience was very poor. I don't think this is representative of Uhaul as a company, because I usually have great experiences with Other Uhaul locations. Would not recommend!
douglas bNot a full service location. I asked to rent a hand truck, furniture dolly, and pads. Reservation system should not accept reservations for anything other than the vehicle. Full and partial service locations should be clearly differentiated.
Saul KNo drop box for key for returning, site unprepared, van blocked in by another car extending time, site personnel handed me keys to another car (not my own) telling me to move it out of the way so I could retrieve the rental. Entirely unacceptable

Daizja MThere is no parking to leave the car you come in to pick up the rental. The nearest parking is about 1/4 ro 1/2 mile away across a busy highway. The facility and office is chaotic and dirty. I would NEVER go back there.

Carlos HVehicle was not well maintained. Transmission made horrible noise. Side mirror did not stay in place. Gas tank was empty upon rental, which was noted, but we still ended up being charged for gas. Customer service at the 1-800 number was very helpful in resolving this billing error.
Ming TUpon returning the van I was overcharged/ double charged. On my original order, I declined insurance (CDW) but it was included on my final invoice. I rented for six hours but was charged for two days. It took me a week to resolve the issue. Thanks eventually I was refunded about 200% of the actual amount I was supposed to be charged. In other words, I was overcharged 200% of the actual amount.

Marc SI was charged extra for a coverage I did not ask for. I did not get my rental until about a half hour later even though I had reserved it online. He couldn't find my reservation and had trouble inputting my information. The gas station was so busy and this man was the only person working. He chose to ignore me until my husband came into the store to see what's taking so long. My rental was also behind another rental so I had to wait an additional 15 mins so he could take care of a customer and move the other rental. All the while this man smell like he had been drinking. It was so heavy in his breath. I am very disappointed in the customer service and experience at this uhaul.
Dawn VI did not receive any of the extra equipment I ordered. The internet service is so poor I could not use the self-checkin easily and waited an hour to get my Uhaul. The station attendant did everything he could to help me, but nothing about Uhaul made this process convenient.

Tieqiao ZThis was the worst experience I have ever had with a rental. First of all, this is NOT a UHaul location even though I rented through the UHaul website - this was an Exxon gas station with only the van I reserved parked there. When I went inside, I was told that I could not park my car at the gas station during my rental and had to find another option, but yet there were no other options. How is that supposed to work?? Who rents a car/van and walks there? How can a place that rents a van not have a space for people to leave their car during their rental? Luckily, I had someone who could drive to help me. I commented to the manager (Zifer) that this is something that should be disclosed prior to the rental and he said it wasn't his fault and to call UHaul. Additionally, the equipment I pre-ordered was not available when I got there. Again, something that I should have been told about BEFORE I arrived so that I could have planned better. And, again, I was told by the manager that none of this was his fault and to contact UHaul. The van itself drove well, but was dirty inside. It did the job needed, and the pricing was right. However, the manager was rude and at one point when I was upset about the parking and also the equipment I needed not being available and not being told about either, he threatened to not rent to me at all. I admit that I got frustrated with the situation, but all of this could have been avoided had I been informed of exactly what to expect. Please do better UHaul. If you offer something on your website to reserve, either make sure its available or contact the customer so they can plan. And please don't work with subcontractors (or whomever this Exxon is) if they won't provide at least one parking space for their customers when they rent a van.
Lori GThe rental location was unorganized. I wasn't able to leave the pickup location until 45 minutes after my scheduled pickup time. I'm not a mechanic but the truck was in need of serious maintenance, The engine was making a severe "tapping" sound the whole trip.
