Make sure that equipment is in properly working condition. Lights to the car transport weren't working & lady had already left before I got it hooked to the truck & then the truck was on EMPTY but explained to me that I needed to leave it a quarter tank when returning it & I wasn't credited for any of the fuel that I put in it to take it home in the first place very INCONVIENT!!!!

The Key drop box was not by the front Door and was almost missed. It was hanging on a post in the lot. It should be moved by the front entrance where the directions say it was.

Lights on the unit did not work. Did not have to go far so I used it anyway. It worked great and Colonial Rental was great.

I was charged for gas I did not use. I left the same amount plus what was in it when I took it. $31 for the gas I didn't use.

The only complaint that I have is the long and tedious process of the actual rental process, otherwise it was a good experience.

New rental process difficult. Took 25 minutes and multiple tries to get it to go though. Will try a non U-haul renter next time.

The U-Haul woman on the phone what customer service was incredibly helpful. She sent me a email return confirmation letter, receipt & etc. We had no problem dropping off the key or finding the location. There's a huge sign, phone number & etc.

If there is more than one trailer of the same size on the lot, ask the customer if they have a preference before starting all the paper work. We eventually got the one we wanted (with two doors that swung open to the side instead of one door that opened up like a garage door) , but an exchange form had to be processed, which could have been easily avoided.

The lady that was there was nice but she had never unhooked a trailer from a vehicle. They expected me a 77 year old man to do it. Her and I together couldn't lift it. Finally a big gentleman came out out and helped us.

Colonial actually had a truck to rent I made a 3 week prior reservation and u-haul called night before (6pm) I needed truck and said they dont have one, kind of rediculous . I won't waste my time calling u-haul ever again.

Pick up location was inconvenient last resort due to no equipment in Fargo. We arrived in Fargo by train and had no transportation to Wahpeton, 45 miles south of where we were confirmed to have a truck. That said, we were given extra days and a discount which covered the cost of transportation to Wahpeton, thank you

They could use more trailers. He only had two of the small trilers. And I need the 6by12 trailer. So had to go to Parks Rapids to pickup the bigger trailer. Witch cost me more . im on a small budget. And old and retired. And hated to have to pay more for my move. So I hope this great dealer in Wahpeton can get more trailers..thanks EA.

Make sure that the place is open the hours that were given for specific day. I made a reservation for 2pm, website said they were open untill 3pm. I get there and no one to be found. Thank goodness the uhaul after hours lady (marcia) went ABOVE and beyond to get me taken care of.

Make motorcycle trailers available. It was quite difficult to strap my motorcycle into the 5x9 open trailer. My trailer also did not have a wheel chock.

Put a local phone number up and or a drop box for after hours returns. I had to get a ride back so my friends had to sit with me for at least a half hour waiting for someone to answer the phone only to tell me to put the keys under the seat. They also could have just called me, texted or emailed me with the drop off directions.

Truck was dirty. Honor reservations. We reserved a 26 1/2ft but was called the day before our move that there was not one available. Had to drive 55miles one way to pick up a 20ft and a trailer which was several 100 cubic feet less than ordered and now we have to go back to pack the rest of our stuff ! Was not big enough. Now have to reserve another truck to go back 230 miles to pick up the other things that we could . Not happy!
