This isn't on the Wahpeton location, but I had reserved a 5'x8' trailer, but that changed at some point to a 6'x12' trailer. I did not need that much trailer. Didn't even fill it half full and I bucked the wind all the way to my destination, only getting 9 miles per gallon of gas. They were flexible on pricing since they aren't open on Saturday's or Sunday's. I needed it for Sunday only and had to pickup on Friday, but they were flexible and adjusted the pricing accordingly. Only knock of the Wahpeton location is that they did not help hook up the trailer. The trailers do not have a tongue jack and with the dual axle it is very difficult to hook up the trailer with one person, especially with snow and moving the trailer at all with one person is almost impossible.

I DROPPED OF WHEN THIS LOCATION WAS CLOSED, THEY CALLED ME THEIR NEXT BUSINESS DAY LETTING ME KNOW I LEFT SOMETHING IN THE TRAILER AND ARE HOLDING THE ITEMS UNTIL I CAN PICK UP. VERY GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. DEFINATELY RECOMMEND

The gal on duty was pleasant enough but after hearing of my dangerous journey made no attempt seek any recompense on my behalf. As she said; I cant give you a refund anyway" Well why not? (see previous related story). I had left a small square of cardboard in the trailer literally the size of an envelope, to which she mumbled something about 'having to sweep the trailer out' .

Truck had a problem with going into "Tow/Haul" mode when the ignition was started. This was not supposed to happen. The truck could only be driven after the "Tow/Haul" was deactivated. This was reported at the time of drop off.

You can only polish a turd so much. The truck was flat wore out. 113,000 miles of hard work and the truck barely made it for our move. I’m guessing the Bidenflation and the Fauchi supply chain collapse has a lot to do with the equipment age in fleet but still. You can do a better job.

We had to drive almost 60 miles from our home and loading area to pick up this truck. They gave us another day and 60 miles but no allotment for gas wasted and time wasted picking up a truck we had reserved almost a month prior. Very unsatisfied when we lived in the Fargo/ Moorhead area which has several U-haul locations and we reserved a long time ahead. Very stressful during a move we had set up help to accomplish and had to take extra time to go pick up truck 50+ miles from us. Guess I would think twice before choosing U-Haul again
