Steve was especially helpful. My only problem was that the truck only had 1/8 tank of gas & I did not want to have to stop twice to fill pulling a trailer and I filled it and had over 1/2 a tank but there was NO REFUND for the extra gas I bought. the folks in COLUMBIA were very nice.Ronald J.

Idk maybe honor your reservation for starters. Also, ensure the equipment is working, especially the AC in Mississippi during the summer. My rental experience was a nightmare, which has no bearing on this location. I rented in Brandon and had to drive 100+ miles out of my way to pickup a UHaul. I get there on moving day and find out that the AC doesn't work. So I have to drive it all the way back, but I wasn't credited enough miles. I paid out of my own pocket to transport a UHaul somewhere where I shouldn't have been. Then, during my trip it starts raining, 102 degrees outside, pregnant wife in the passenger seat, windows up. So yeh it wasn't pleasant. Then I get to loading my UHaul and there's no Dolly or Furniture covers. I finally get moved in the freakin heat and I find out I'm charged for an overage on mileage because some jack wagon gave away my UHaul.Matthew K.

I couldn't figure out what building the u haul rental place was. Turns out, it was part of a pawn shop and there was a small sign on the bottom right corner. The people there were friendly, so I did appreciate that.Maddie C.

Very comfortable, clean, 2016 truck. No problems what so ever. Drove it 1200 miles. Had trailor behind it, got good gas milage for the load. Great air, and was able to drop keys in drop box and return after hours. Would definitely use them again.ALAN D.

super friendly and very informative the rental location did not give me much info i thought i would be charged extra ..99 per milebut the return said it would have only been 40 cents if i had known this I would have kept it and made another 180ile trip to haul something else. I saw the benefit of free storage rental if needed for customers using rental trucks, but what about discount for hitches or hitch installation do i qualify forany discount on those I rented u haul truck last year twice and this year once.Wendell P.

The runner was paid for the day prior when mr. Thompson pick the rental up he was told that it was not paid for and that he had to protect his credit card he told him he had insurance he did not need it they added it anyway and charge his card we called the call center and they said they would have charges reversed in 3 days they said they had no history of payment but when they printed the receipt the only thing that show was his $18 charge for the insurance so I experienced was not goodWillie T.

The reason for the low rating is due to the customer service of the proprietors of the location. The attendant who checked-out the vehicle gave us no verbal information with regards to the rental, did not talk to me at all during the check-in except to say they did not have the equipment I requested (that's okay, not her fault), and took no time to explain any of the paperwork - just pushed it in front of me and told me to sign. Because of the lack of customer service, the attendant did not ask who would be driving the vehicle, and my asking why this was not done led to a very disgusting look from the attendant - as if it was the bane of her day to run her business. I don't rent trucks every day, and I would like to be talked through the process in a plain and simple way that is easy to understand to ensure that I am in compliance with the rule and regulations set forth by your company during the duration of my rental. This is easily done with simple customer service skills, and I was appalled that they could not take time to do this when renting equipment that costs tens of thousands of dollars. The staff were very accommodating and helpful and very pleasant. The trailer came loose from the ball on 98 Hwy. I had changed from a van to the U-hall truck we rented. The latch did not appear to be working correctly, but we tightened it as much a we could. When the roadside service arrived, He used tie-downs to keep the trailer from coming loose.l r M.
