The corporate service assistant that helped the reservation in the morning could have mentioned that the 10' truck does not have a ramp. Luckily there was availability for a 15' here at this location but I still had to drive 10 miles from my original reservation. A bit of an inconvenience I would say

Number one the guy never went out to the truck when I got back cuz he was too busy sitting on a stool. Then he charged me $25 from clean up I never got any dirt in that truck that wasn't already there we move stuff out of the storage unit that never hit the ground. When I got there he said it was going to be about 10 or 15 minutes because he had to inspect the truck I left go get donuts come back 10 minutes later there's a note on the door he's gone for 15 more minutes. Very very disappointed

Rented a transport van to move my sons to a new apartment - The interior of the vehicle was filthy - Seems scary to rent a dirty vehicle during the pandemic in Michigan - The pricing of the 48 hour rental was vague, and ended up costing more than projected - I would have liked more transparency up front - Will not use this location again -

Clean the damn vehicle before handing it to a customer that has a 300 mile drive ahead of them. Dried bug splatters on the windshield, mirror faces and grill; windshield filthy. Crumbs in the console tray. I spent 30 minutes doing your job for you. Also, update your damn equipment. the ride was like riding in a stagecoach, noisy rough, bouncy and not even a USB port in the vehicle.

Truck was old, run down. The back door would not go down once it was open. I was on a time limit and the day was wasted because of the door not being able to shut. On the other hand, everyone at Compass Self Storage was amazing.

Nice newer truck. But cab floor and seats dirty, cab trim had streaks of something on it and truck area also not cleaned, fine black dust on floor.

The place I rented from was great. U-Haul charged me extra however for equipment I did not rent and did not refund the miles I didn't use.

The steering on the truck I rented was very sloppy, making it difficult to steer straight down the road. It was particularly dangerous going through areas where there was construction with shifting traffic patterns.

I was told on the phone that I would be receiving a 10% discount by signing up over the phone. When I arrived at Compass they did see the discount but did not give it to me when I paid. Instead they told me it would come off when I dropped off the vehicle which was incorrect.

I rented a truck from you guys it would not do over 50 without shaking violently I paid over $100 for one day I was going to keep it for two days but I'm not driving somewhere that takes an hour turns into two and a half hours can you please let me know if you can help me out if not I will go with a different company and I will take further action thank you have a nice day

Truck was filthy inside the cab and the back of the truck was dirty as well, you could tell it had not been cleaned in quite some time, I would have expected a lot more cleanliness especially with a national pandemic going on. The truck squealed and squeaked, I did not feel the truck had any regular upkeep at all in a very long time.

Great experience, great rental place. Agents were pleasant and efficient. However, times have changed quite a bit since my last U-Haul rental (in 2007 or so) and all of the check-ins and drop-offs are done via mobile phone. Nobody told me that when I was getting the vehicle. My phone is too old and doesn't have enough working memory to open webpages or even take photos for the uploads. I had to wait over an hour until I could get someone with a newer phone to meet up with me to drop the truck off properly. I'm sure I'm definitely in the minority here, but I'm suggesting that the rental agents should verbally note that you'll need a mobile device to do the verification at pick-up and the after-hours drop-offs. For instance, my dad doesn't even have a smartphone and couldn't open a texted link if his life depended on it. He would've been totally lost here and probably charged extra for it.

This location was great but the Shelby tire location that my reservation was at was a complete joke first my reservation was canceled then once I got it rescheduled after being on hold for 45mins I was then given a code to a lock box that when I opened it there were no keys for the truck I was suppose to be getting luckily this location was near by and had a cancellation on a little larger truck and offered to give it to me for the same rate as the truck I reserved

cargo van was dirty on the outside and filthy on the inside. The seats were just covered in dirt and debris. Had to clean them off before I would even think of sitting on them.

It was great and the two ladies working the desk at the rental location I used were very personable and professional. I was very pleased. Only complaint I MAY have is how long the hike takes to release back onto your card after the return

The only thing they called me and texted me a lot when I kept the rentals past my due date. I understand I kept the rentals beyond the date and didn't have a concrete return date but I was paying for them anyway but the calls/texts were overwhelming.

Checked oil level after picking up truck. Found oil to be 2 1/2 quarts low. This is very bad as I did not need fuel for some time and could have driven 200+ miles on low oil had I not checked it. I recommend anyone picking up a rental check all fluid levels prior to use.

Randy Grodin was filling it at this location for an employee. He was great and has great customer service. That being said, I was waiting for my rental for nearly 2 hours because the “U-Haul systems” were “down”. Randy did a great job trying to manage the line of customers the best he could. I understood quickly it wasn't his fault and it was out of his hands. While my experience was unpleasant with Uhaul, Randy did a great job. He needs a raise. I will be looking for some sort of reimbursement towards my uhaul. They cost me nearly 2 hours of my day and put more strain on myself as the people I had lined up to help me move, had to leave.

The return process is fine. But you need to make sure you will have the truck available for the next person to use.nothsure I will be using uhaul any more. Too much stress.

We visited the store on Sunday to return the truck at 2:40 PM and the store was already closed. The sign on the door stated the store closes at 3 PM. No one followed up with us - there was a problem with the interior light in our truck not shutting off. We purposely went to the store before they closed to let them know about the light issue, but since they were closed early, there was no one to tell the issue to. I would suggest that you call each of your customers after they return their rental to ask about their rental experience.
