Truck had a screw in the tire and went flat on me. Not necessarily the rental places fault....I lost 3 hours on my move waiting for u haul road service though and that messed up my day. when the guy came he was nice, just too busy I guess

For the second time in a row, my rental pick-up location was moved by U-Haul with no advance notification. In order to make certain that my pick-up location had the truck in their lot, I attempted to call them directly prior to heading out for the truck. To my surprise my call was re-routed to a U-Haul call center and not my pick-up location. The woman I spoke to on the phone assured me that the truck was at my pick-up location and said she "verified" it with them. When I arrived, the location owner said he was never contacted by U-Haul and that he sent his last truck out 6 hours earlier. This was the exact situation I was trying to avoid when I made the call to U-Haul. The owner of the location read notes to me from my electronic file stating that I was notified of the location change (15 minutes prior to my scheduled pick-up time) by voice-mail and text. I received neither of them. The truck I rented is dirty and does not seem to run very well (jerky). Also, It really angers me that U-Haul takes up space in the truck that I rented in an attempt to force me to rent a really bad dolly and blankets. That is precious space and I should not be penalized if I need to remove that stuff from the truck in order to utilize all the space I have rented. I was asked on the web-site and at the store if I needed those items and I said no - only to find them taking up space in the back of the truck. If nothing else, U Haul needs to overhaul its entire on-line reservation process. I have rented from at least 4 different locations in the past and the staff at each location have said directly that the on-line rental system is unreliable and that the 800 U Haul staff provide no benefit. Now I agree with those statements. For the record, I am so dissatisfied with this situation (second time in a row), that I am going to take out debt and by my own small moving truck. I do not mean this comments to be hurtful - just accurate.

I have no complaints. I did receive a text stating that there was equipment that was not returned. This was not the case. I just suggest being sure before sending a message like this.

When I returned the flat bed trailer The blonde haired girl at the counter was very rude by ignorantly indicating that the wiring harness obviously Directly connected to my wiring harness belonged to U-Haul and that she would have to charge me. When she finally realized that she was wrong she remained rude and unprofessional. I'm very disappointed and my experience at this particular location with their customer service :( Poor customer relations :(

I believe I was overcharged for mileage. We figured out the mileage when we turned in the truck and we should have only owed $151.47 in lieu of the $161.29 that we were charged. I assume you charged tax on the .99 cent per mile? Also, we picked it up with 3/4 tank of gas and returned it nearly full.

We were switched to this location due to availability, location was to call us if truck came available earlier and did not. One tire was very low on tread, cup holders in dash were not clean and needed wiped out

Staff person was not very pleasant. She made an error looking at the gas gauge and had overcharged me. When I brought it to her attention she went back out to read the gauge and came back and said it didn't look like that the first time. She corrected the charge, but no apology. Just a little unfriendly, but not rude.

Overall very disappointed with transaction. My confirmation said pick up at one location then when I called they said oh no your picking up at different location. If I wouldn't have called would not have known. Poor way of doing business.

The van we used the driver door hid screw missing and kept falling closed when open. also the gas kept fall off when putting gas in.

you can start by making sure the proper contract is signed and sent by the proper customer. A serious breach of my personal information occurred when my contract and reservation was sent out with another customer. Very unprofessional
