Upon arrival to pick up our "reserved" truck, we were informed that the manager was supposed to call and let us know that our truck was not available due to the previous customer not returning it. After several minutes, they were able to provide one from their lot that wasn't supposed to go out until the following day. Note that the truck is old and dirty inside (seat glued, etc.) and the transmission doesn't sound great. It was slow to accelerate on the highway so you may want to check that out. Finally, when proceeding with returning the truck (via phone app), it told me I was being charged for TWO days. I rented the truck for ONE day (Sat - 11/08) - picked it up at 10:30 a.m. and returned it around 11:00 p.m. to the Van Dyke location. So I am puzzled why U-Haul would charge me for TWO days! I expect a refund for the extra charge please!
