The Uhaul App would not allow me to pick up or drop off with the phone app. Thankfully the people at the location were there n=both times to be able to get me checked out and back in. It said my phone number was not valid...DOUGLAS C.

Arrived at drop off 1.5 to 2 hrs prior to closing. Personnel was out and about and we had an extended wait outside until finally someone showed up. Tried to get one of the two to count the blankets and verify the correct amount were there long with the dolly and all we got was â€œ you're good to goâ€. Then when the final email came, they listed 2 gallons of gas added to the bill. We made sure that truck was at the halfway mark where we got it. If they had checked the truck in out presence, we could have agree or disagreed but nevertheless they didn't come out to ck so we will never know. A truck with that size tank would be hard to even know if 2 gallons was the right amount. They were polite though !!!ANTHONY A.

Gentleman that helped me at the front desk was great and professional. At the time of check-in the internet went down and wouldn't come up for a while. Pennies and nickels were laying around in the cab. The windshield had splattered bugs. We wanted moving pads, but they had none. Office was neat and orderly. Managers were exceptionally nice.TERENCE S.
This location did not have the blankets I'd ask for. I have rented trucks before at different location in the area and have found that these locations do not do proper maintenance on there trucks.They always make sure they are clean for the next use, but they also need to test drive them, this truck had bad steering and if not needing the truck that day I would have returned it. Another issue is gas in these truck. Why is it that U-Haul does not require the truck to be returned with a full tank. I do not like returning a truck and get hit with a high gas bill when it hard to try to make sure it had about the same amount of gas in the tank as it was when I left the lot with it. I'm looking to move up north soon and was looking to rent from U-Haul, but with the condition of the truck in this area I would be afraid to try drive a 1000 miles. Of the truck was clean they made sure you returned the truck clean.MICHAEL G.
The return process with the app, was not easy. Multiple complications and or giant "pain in the butt" process \ steps. Should suggest renter watch a video or give them a trial\test run on all the necessary steps.ROY M.

I had a very horrible experience with uhaul rental today Website does not work and gives wrong information if you get very lucky and log into it. I was not able to use it for my truck rental return either as per what i was told to use. No one picks up the phone to help no matter how you try- Wasted so much time on it. Ther was noone there at 130 pm 4-12 -21, 19020 dale mabry, to help at the office for me to return the trcuk since i was having issues with the very poor online website return. The truck was in horrible condition. Will have to look for other services next time.HUMA H.

The woman that took my reservation was wonderful. The vehicle was fine. The only issue we had is that the vehicle after hours return process was frustrating. We were told to drop the key in the box but to read the directions first before doing so. There were too many steps to doing this electronically and we could not get the "location services" to work on our phone in order to do that step. After too much time trying to do what you asked, we finally just wrote. This part of the process was very frustrating as we were tired and just wanted to park the vehicle and drop off the key. The location was convenient, clean, and centralized. The front desk clerk was rude and not very helpful. When we arrived we walked in and then he asked us to step outside and wait. He asked for our phone number and told us we were early and couldn't help us. He told us to call 1-800-UHAUL and asked us to leave because he had to help other customers. He insisted that we did not have a reservation, only a quote even though I showed him my reservation email.?? We finally got a hold of Uhaul and thet were able help us. I have used Uhaul for years. We had the truck for 4 hours. We were told to call an 800 number when we arrived. We did and it was an after hours number. Looked at the contract and it gave instructions to go to a website, did that and then they charged us $21.00 for an after hours drop off. I will never use Uhaul again. How did an after hours drop off cost you anything. You are ripping people off!!! I will never refer you to anyone!!! $119 for for 4 hours and an additional 21.00 for after hours drop off. We rented on Christmas Eve to take a Barbie Doll House to St Petersburg about 35 miles one way. I returned the Van around 5PM. The office was closed. I could not access the internet on my phone continuously. When I could UHaul cold not verify my location and I didn't have a password. I took photos of the truck interior and location at store. I texted the photos and my Information to the phone number on the store door plaque. Later I had my wife send information and photos to UHaul chat. I was worried about additional charges . But that didn't happen. I put the key and contract in drop box. The guy at store was very helpful and great service. I would rent from them again. Van was new and nice to drive.John M.

Can't say it's their fault, but i ordered Furniture pads too. Unfortunately, they didn't have any so I had to go to elsewhere to buy some. They had one and said I could borrow it for free, but I just left it since I knew I needed to get more than that anyway. Ultimately, they didn't charge me for it because they didn't have it, but it was lost revenue for U-Haul and inconvenient for me to go elsewhere. i will say the staff was very friendly and apologetic. Representative charged me $20 for blankets I ordered but didn't receive. Then he lied about refunding me the cost on two occasions. To make matters worse, charged me an additional $11.00 fuel tax that was not on the original quote. It's hard to believe you have such deceitful people representing your company.RICHARD M.
