The representative was not knowledgeable and very aggressive. I was spoken too very poorly. He spoke as if he didn't want to help me. I'm not sure what it was . Maybe because I was black and he was old and white and had disgust look at me . Never will I recommend this company after this experience.Willie P.

The Guy on the phone refused to tell me...the picture is hanging up on the Wall. Instead he demanded that I tell him how many rooms â€œthe system won't let me...â€ that's Bull!! No furniture pads available which totally screwed up my move. I had moving helpers standing by and not happy to drive all over town on a sunday to get furniture pads at different location. This is unacceptable and I will not rent there againTeddy H.

We rented a 10ft truck and the sales rep indicated the vehicle was full and we needed to return it full. Upon leaving the facility, we noticed it was not on full. We drove it 15 miles exactly. We filled it up at the station across the street and it took 7.448 gallons to fill it up. We reported it to the sales rep and she argued for 5 minutes that it was full when we took it. I asked how we could put 7.5 gallons in it across the street and only drive it 15 miles. The math did not add up. She would only say she had pictures of when it was turned it last. She shoved the paperwork out to me and told me to leave. I would recommend to take your own pictures of everything before leaving the facility because you too could end up with 2 miles to the gallon charges.Chris G.
Customer service via telephone was the WORST and caused me time, money and driving. Spoke with a representative that misled me into changing my trip to one way which cost more instead of staying roundtrip (like I had already chosen ) so because of that my experience outside of the actual location personal was all bad.William D.
Originally rented a 10' truck only to find out it doesn't have a ramp. Anything with a 3' step up should have a ramp. With no issues I was able to return the truck and get a 15' with a ramp. The truck had over 120K miles on it and the steering was sloppy but it did get me where I needed to go. Would not have wanted to use this truck for a long haul. The Compass Storage employee was very courteous and helpful. Would rent from them again.Gary G.

There were ashes in the truck's ashtray that should have been cleaned out before renting. Also the number of miles allowed were just barely enough to get from the pickup to the drop-off U-HAUL locations. There was no allowance for driving to the old apartment to load the truck nor for driving to a gas station in the drop-off city.James R.

Waited outside for 30 mins after I called them, then I got home and there wasn't a 2 wheeler in truck so I had to go all the back. When I talked to reply on the phone I was told my car would be strapped down but when I got there it was a extra charge, When I got to NY I was told it wasn't UHaul policy to chargebrian T.

This was a disappointing experience and I will likely never use U-Haul again as a result. I made a reservation online and received a confirmation email. However, when I arrived at the designated location they were not aware of my reservation and did not have the truck available that I requested. They only had a more expensive/larger truck available. The representatives kindly offered to discount the larger truck to match the price of the truck I actually reserved which was great! However, they neglected to inform me that there were other charges built in to the vehicle they gave me which led to my final bill being higher than expected. I am extremely disappointed in U-Haul and intend to call the corporate office as well.Katina D.
