The Check out representative was unbelievably rude and was awful. She said she’d check me out at her time schedule not mine. Simply rude and she needs to be terminated! I will never go back to that facility nor Uhaul for anything in the future. I also plan to use my social media strength to tell my story! This is not over!!! Horrible customer experience!!!

Keys provided were to the wrong UHaul Truck. I ordered a dolly and furniture pads and neither of these were provided upon arrival. The fleet manager offered me a discount for the delay and lack of equipment, but the discount was never given. I ordered the uhal for 8am, but due to all the problems I didn’t leave until after 9am. Needless to say this was an awful experience and I will never be using U-HAUL again.

Drove the truck a total of 15 miles, Compass Realty (vendor) Charged me almost $20 for gas (over 5 gals of gas) The gas gage never moved and I am of the belief that the truck got more that 3 mpg.

Love the manager, Priscilla, and staff at Compass Self Storage. Usually the trucks are in fairly good working order. This 20' truck has some major issues. Transmission made lots of bumps, grinds and noises. Did not work well!!

This location and Priscilla ended up being fantastic, BUT my overall rental experience and using UHaul.com was a disaster. First, I reserved a truck, along with an appliance dolly, on the UHaul website from a different location. I received a voicemail the morning of my reservation informing me that they moved my pickup location down the road. We chose the original location based on its proximity to where we needed to go since UHaul charges for mileage. The UHaul website should not list trucks (10') available at certain locations if they are not available. Secondly, when UHaul has to move a reservation, they should deduct the mileage difference between the original location and the moved location. We showed up to pickup the truck at the new location, and Priscilla was lovely. She was kind and helpful, but then we found out that UHaul moved us to a location without the appliance dolly that we absolutely needed. Priscilla then contacted UHaul, who told her that we could go to our original pickup location to get the dolly (more mileage) because they saw in their system that the original location had the appliance dolly in stock. We drove to the original location (more milage!) only to be told that he did not have it. We ended up having to drive another 5 miles in the opposite direction (MORE MILEAGE) to find a location that had the appliance dolly for us to rent. I spent over 10 minutes on hold yesterday morning waiting to try to speak with someone in Customer Service before getting exasperated and hanging up. UHaul terribly dropped the ball and did not meet their Reservation Guarantee by a long shot. This reservation was to move equipment for a nonprofit, charitable organization and every penny counts when it comes to our budget. You have a very dissatisfied customer on your hands, and it has nothing to do with this location, but everything to do with UHaul.com and their customer service. I would absolutely like for someone to contact me regarding this experience.

Customer service is not there thing. They make sure you know they are not u haul employees. That they don't need any customers who give them any stress. No follow thru. I've been in retail forever. They need to be retrained.

Time for you to address the gas gauge. People seem to be getting used to returning trucks with a quarter tank or less. To someone picking it up is a bit disappointing. Go back to Old policies. You return the truck with a full tank or you are charged for it. It’s jidt plain lazy for Uhaul to not get this right. Your credibility is in the toilet anyway. Maybe start paying attention to those pesky reviews

I waited in line to be helped and when it was noted that I was just returning the vehicle, the representative just said “if you are dropping off just turn in the keys”. I think just a simple, anyone standing in line to drop off would have been good.

The experience was great. Checkout out and check in of the truck was fast. The staff was courteous, going as far as even sharing donuts with us. No comments for improvement.

the attendant working at the storage site on 5/23/18 was not very helpfull upon turning the truck keys. she gestured to come towards her with her hand when i asked if i should turn the keys into her. she took possesion of the keys, but then commenced speaking to another customer. however, the uhual app is awesome.

First, when I arrived at my scheduled pick up time, no one was there and I had to wait outside for 30 minutes waiting. I started to do the online pick up but then realized the keys were not in the truck. As I was checking in, I informed the attendant to remove the furniture covers from my order because I had not requested this and didn’t it but I did need the dolly. He gave me the docs to sign without reviewing anything, including the gas, damages, etc. It was not in the front of my mind to tell him to do this. As I made it to my first stop to begin moving, I saw the gas was under 3/4 of a tank and not on full like the paper I signed indicated. Then I opened the rear and the dolly was not there. I immediately called customer service and informed them. Basically I had to move without the dolly because all other locations in my area were closed or out of my way. It would have delayed me by hours to have to pick up a new dolly. It was super frustrating on moving day to have to deal with moving plus all this. I even asked him twice if I was good to go and he said yes. He didn’t check anything from the truck or ask me to go check anything. I’ve used Uhaul before and never had any issues. It’s a pretty simple process. But this was by far the worst experience. I will not be renting a uhaul from this location again. Also, I left a storage key in the truck when I dropped off and called the location to see if they found this, but no one answered. I left a voicemail.

Do not rent here. I rented a truck for 90 minutes to haul some plants, drove according to receipt 8.2 miles. This place said the trucks get 12 miles a gallon; I put one gallon of gas in before returning it. My receipt was charged for THREE Gallons of gas- (in 90 minutes, 8 miles!) which isn’t even possible. I stopped by in person to complain; left after waiting for 20 minutes without even being acknowledged by U-Haul clerk (there was ONE person before me). I called later, and was told that “UHAUL had my money, they did not” and I would have to talk to the Regional U-Haul company, thought I rented and paid this compass Self Storage. Called U-Haul Regional, was told there was ONE person in the whole company who would call to “talk to me about it” and no, I could not get his direct phone number or even his name. Of course, he never called. Obviously, this is not the first time this company has done this. If this company dings each customer $8 extra on most rentals, that may be “the way it just works”…it is also the way it works you should be warned to drive a few minutes to any other local truck rental company.
