Recently emailed uhaul.com/bankhold in reference to an additional charge of $37.78 on my card for contract #94000219 for truck rental on 7/27/2019. The total FINAL amount charged to card:$101.17, However (again) there is a $37.78 still pending on my bank account. Please refund the $37.78 immediately. Communicate policy to customer. The Traffic Department tried to cancel my reservation even though the local representative had given me the ok to pick up the vehicle later than the reserved start time. I would have gladly paid a deposit or paid in full in advance, but no one told me a reservation was meaningless if the Traffic Department wanted to change it. Those are lousy policies.

Made a truck reservation several weeks out. Stoped by the office a few days before to confirm and no record was found. Also had a reservation for a second rental a few days later which was also lost. Was able to get the truck for when I did need it fortunately. When picking it up again mentioned that I might need another rental day and would let her know when I brought it back. Was told no problem. Upon turning the truck in today I said I would be back Saturday and the lady was confused and said nothing was available but would call me. Never called. Moving can be a major busy time and to have simple things like reservation confirmation is important. Was asked numerous times what day I was needing and what size of truck for Saturday. Nice lady but very disorganized in the office. Truck ran ok but had a loud metal on metal chirping sound, front brakes perhaps. Frequency was based on speed of the vehicle.

Was charged a bogus charge for gas. Truck was listed with 3/4 gas on the contract that I got the day AFTER I returned the truck. Had to call uhaul customer service because I couldn't get a call back from the location. Still haven't heard anything, have proof these guys are crooked.

I ended up transferring to a different location because for three hours they could not connect the trailer to my truck. the other location did it in 2 minutes.
