1) when I opened the back gate once at home, the interior of the truck was dirty and sticky. 2) I only drove the truck 19.2 miles and put 2 gallons of gas in the truck. The fuel needle did NOT move at all. I notified the attendant in duty Compass self storage manager?) as to what occurred with the fuel needle. This was just past 10:00 a.m. today. When I finally got the receipt at 5:51 p.m., it showed a charge for 6 gallons of gas for $28.88. There is NO WAY that I used 6 gallons of gas. For a 1-day rental of $29.99, 19.2 miles @ 79 cents per mile, and SafeMove at $14.00.....before taxes, my amount owed should have been approximately $58.00. However, due to the extra gas charge, I was charged over $92.00! I will be calling Compass in the morning and my credit card company. I tried calling UHaul but was notified via the automated system that I would have to wait over 30 minutes to speak to a actual person. This IS RIDICULOUS!RICHARD H.

Better maintenance would have made the vehicle better and I had reserved a utility hand truck that no one had. But it showed there was one when I made the reservation. I could have had a accident with all the play in the steering. Being a professional driver of large vehicle kept me safeVictoria P.

My experience with the truck was that it had a "soft brake pedal" requiring it be depressed before I could feel the brakes engage. The steering wheel had a bit a play in it as well causing the vehicle to drift left/right and require constant adjustment.Tim R.

Uhaul as a whole needs better communication. I went to two different locations and drove 25/30 mins away from each one to tell me they messed my reservation up. Finally the last location took care of me with a great attitude.Christopher T.

The rental was great, the truck was older and drove badly. I literally fought the wheel the entire time. Also I found a huge chunk of rubber missing from a back tire. I did inform the rental place so the tire could be taken car of. No complaints at all about the process, just the drivability of the truck.Melanie B.
As usual my reservation was moved to 3 different locations and again I received a notification one hour before pick up time that my reservation was moved. My pick up location has great staff but I hate using the U-Haul service. Don't call it a reservation, call it a suggestion.Jermaine E.

Sunday rental. Staff was most helpful, but limited to the one staff member at this particular, private storage unit company. Very polite and considerate.Steven W.
Closing time was posted as 6PM. We arrived there at 5.45 pm (after calling main Uhaul # and confirming closing time) and found the door locked and lights off. After ringing door bell a few times a lady (Ann) appeared ay 5.55pm and told us to "leave the trailer parked on the lot" and she would "process the paperwork the next day". She did not inspect trailer in our presence. She kept asking for the rental paperwork and when I said it was all online and offered to show her the document on my phone she declined, went back into the store and locked the door. Overall not a good experience at Dallas hwy Marietta location. Maybe the store hours should be altered to accommodate location employees and not inconvenience customers.Seshadri C.

This location was great! I was upset with Uhaul because they had canceled my other order without giving me notice. I had 3 Events to coordinate that day and needed the truck that I had reserved. I went to Compass Uhaul after getting turned away at the original place I was supposed to pick up. Compass was great. The owner was great. I was very happy with his service. I was not Happy with the other Uhaul plane that I originally had the order because when I went there...it was called Remmee and there was no uhaul there for me. But Compass was good.
