GET RID OF THE MOBILE SHARE 24/7 CRAP. IT DIDNT WANT TO WORK. THE OLD WAY IS WAY EASIER AND SIMPLER. IT TOOK ME 2 HOUR TO PICK UP A TRUCK.Raymond B.
I put 30 miles on a small 10' truck. I prepaid for 25 miles when picked up. I put over 2 gallons of gas in truck when returned, & then I was charged for 2 more gallons @ $3.50 a gal....thats robbery! Also, was quoted .49 per mile & then the next day quoted .59 per miles. Gas is $1.60 per gal today....& dropping drastically....why the increase? I ended up with Compass (& that's fine) because Mac Allen Storage was very ugly & difficult to deal with. Due to the $$ I had to pay for extra gallons of gas....I may not use UHaul again.....really....over 4 gallons of gas for 30 miles on a small 10 ft truck!? Not good businessSusan B.

Worst experience I ever had with U-Haul. I had a confirmation number at another location, but when I got there, they didn't have my truck. Not sure what happened, but suspect they rented to someone else. In any case, after complaining the attendant made another reservation for a much smaller truck at this location. I had to have it back by 4 PM (which was extremely difficult for my schedule) and had to drive it all the way from Clayton NC to Goldsboro costing me an extra $30 in miles. My original reservation had me dropping it off in Clayton. I'm still unhappy with the entire process. How does a company lose a reservation that has a confirmation number? This is the second time I have rented a utility trailer with a motorcycle chock and the second time the incorrect one was made available for pickup that did not have the motorcycle chock. The first time, I reserved the trailer online and the picture showed the chock. When I picked it up the attendant said the system does not distinguish between trailers with and without chock and I need to reserve them in person. The second time I went to a Uhaul facility and talked to a person. Explained the problem I had last time and I needed a trailer with a motorcycle chock. They assured me the system does differentiate between trailers and if the picture shows a chock then the trailer will have a chock. I found out this was incorrect when I picked up the trailer a few days later, it did not have a chock. Another one was available at a different location but it was very frustrating. Uhaul needs to inventory their trailers to specify trailers with and without motorcycle chocks. I was moving out of state and drove 200 miles to pickup the trailer to get my motorcycle. I would have wasted a lot of time and money if the correct trailer that I was promised was not available.Jason D.

I used the 24/7 so was disappointed when I did not have a dolly I ordered. At check in the agent was very amenable though, and explained that dollies were rare like 'gold' and did not charge me.Heather A.

Original location review. .. NO one was there after calling several times. Area manager also wasn't able to contact the owner or area manager. Very poor service. Second location was very nice and helpfulcarlos C.
This location gave my storage unit away to another customer a week after I signed a contract and paid for it. Instead of calling that customer to remove their belongings/finding a unit of the same size the compass storage facility gave me a much smaller unit instead. Because I am active duty military on strict time constraints preparing for a deployment I was forced to give away some furniture so that all of my belongings would fit. I do not recommend compass storage for anything!diona M.
I had to rent a u-haul two weeks in a row. The 2nd time I had to use a facility on Berkley Blvd and I was not pleased at all from the customer service to the truck itself. However, yet again, Tim and Wendy went over and above their duty to get me what I needed. I will never go anywhere else!!!

The lady that helped me reserve and pick up my up my dolly was helpful and friendly. The original location I was suppose to pick up from, the employee never showed to work and had to call the 1800 number. The gentlemen that helped me there was helpful and friendly and got me another location quickly. The only bad there I was sent the wrong address which wasn't a uhual location at all, but one was near and the uhual rep there got me directions to where I needed to beJohn B.
