I had scheduled the van for 10 am and was running late. I called to let them know but the wait on hold was expected to be 20-30 minutes. I knew I could be at the facility by then so hung up. I headed out but the GPS sent us somewhere in the middle of nowhere. By this time we had an infant with that needed to eat. We fed him, got gas, and put the location in a different app. Long story short we ended up getting there almost 2 hours late. The agent immediately started going off and stating that even though I had scheduled the van for 24 hours it most likely wouldn't be available. I tried telling him the circumstances we faced but he wasn't interested. After a bit he calmed down and completed the transaction. The facility was very clean and organized and the rest of the experience went well. We purchased a few more items that were displayed and he was very helpful. The return process went well and that agent was friendly and helpful.

To get rid of the guy who was there after 630. He was rude about the garbage that I was trying to put in the dumpster. He basically made me feel like garbage for trying to clean out the truck. I won't be back to this location.

I received a call a few days early that I wouldn't be able to pick up a trailer at the Uhaul just down the street. This location was inconvenient - but you were courteous and gave me an extra day free, so no harm no foul.

The location is well maintained, clean and makes an excellent first impression. Check in and check out went quickly and smoothly. The equipment was in excellent condition. A big consideration in my choice of this rental site was proximity to my need and the hours it was open. Compass Self Storage represents U-Haul well.

This U-Haul location is by far the best U-Haul experience I've ever had. The equipment is newer and very well maintained, the location is very convenient, and the service / ease of renting equipment was a breeze. Would certainly recommend to anyone interested in renting with U-Haul. The only improvement I could say is to have an easier parking spot for after hours / mobile pickup. Since I rented the van, it was parked on a somewhat steep area of the parking lot. My wife could not get in it due to ice and I had some trouble getting the van out when it was empty. However, I received help from the manager at this location and made the situation easier for us.

The "touchless" check-in failed and wouldn't tell me how to get access to the key. I had to go into the building and then the person at the desk was able to take over and finish the transaction. He was very courteous and helpful.

App to check vehicle in/out was not user friendly. Indicated my cell number and my wife's cell number BOTH were used to rent the vehicle. Had to enter another number for verification and then totally reload to get the thing to work. There was a $25 cleaning charge added that was in NONE of the estimates for this rental. Must have been in your fine print. Not a very good experience at all.

Rep did not help us find a return location and finding one was very frustrating. We went to two locations and both were closed. We finally called Uhaul and they told us our return location address was already set up but no one notified us of the return location.

The truck didn't not run well, I only moved 20 minutes away, I'm so glad I didn't have to drive this vehicle to another state. The truck didn't want to accelerate, it felt like it was in bad need of a tune up, and there steering was out of whack. The truck wasn't ready when we scheduled it to be picked up. We had to wait for over an hour to pick it up, and then we were told we needed to have the truck back 2 hours earlier than what we reserved it for. Honestly I would not recommend uhaul to anyone, this was my 1st time using your company and it will probably be my last. Moving is hard enough and uhaul made it worse.

The truck had a cracked side mirror and was having mechanical issues. The check engine light came on while I was going to drop it off. The heat wouldn't stop blowing out as well

Check the gas our truck was on half full and we put it back the same way and got charged and we cleaned the truck and got charged returned it the same day and got charged it was the responsibility of the worker to check the gas not happy with this at all

Checking the van back in after hours was a nightmare. After being out in driving rain and totally unsuccessful we returned the next morning at the opening of the store and learned from another agent that we did not have to drop it off the night before at all. That would have been nice to know. Getting the GPS to work so the location is recognized would also be awesome. It apparently is a known problem.

The location and the truck were fine. The experience getting the truck was a nightmare. Because I was picking up and dropping off after hours, I was told I would need to use the UHaul App. I made the reservation on the phone, which was fine. However, the experience using the app to pick up and drop off the truck was terrible. The app showed incorrect information about the rental (wrong pick up location and incorrect charges). The funds held on my card were double what the rental called for. When I dropped off the truck, the charges shown in the app were triple what I was told when I made the reservation. Everything else was fine though. It seems that Uhaul has some serious problems with their system talking with the app. If those problems were addressed, then it would be a much better experience.

My scheduled time to pick up a U-Haul was 5:45 PM. I canceled that and made it for the next day at 12. When I went to pick up the U-Haul I had to wait a half hr before being wasted on. Then the u-haul it wasn't there at Monmouth St. I was sent to cold Springs to pick up a truck there . when I arrived no one was there and I waited again for 20 minutes. But the lady that finally did get there took care of us real well very kind. Hope I never have to use U-Haul again.

Inside of the truck was a little sticky, looked like someone spilt soda or something in it, as well as animal hair, also the mobile pickup took way to long, I waited around 15 minutes for the agent to verify an alternate phone number because my dad that was with me had forgot his cell phone at home. Drop off was fine but pickup was very inconvenient

The location was fine. It the overall U-hall. When scheduling do not schedule truck back to back. We were guaranteed a truck at 3:00PM and the truck was not returned until 3:10 and then it had to be cleaned. We did not get truck until almost 3:30. Also website not easy to file a grievence.

The truck was great. However, the code we were given to the storage room we had rented did not work and we were not able to return the truck or store our items until then next day, when the office opened. The manager was very helpful and made accommodations for having caused the problems with then entry code. We should have checked out the code before we left with the truck.

I had to drive to 3 different locations and was told I could get my cash deposit back. Since I couldn't afford to fill the tank again after driving all over I was charged 60+ dollars just for gas That's disgusting and just because of that I won't use u haul again. The rest of my deposit wasn't even able to be given back to me in cash, like I was told it would be by MULTIPLE different people. I will definitely let all the people who say they are going to use a u haul to be careful cause you will get screwed. It's really not necessary at all. Maybe look into different moving companies.

My original reservation was for a location that doesn't exist. Wheels and deals 5600 Alexandria. No-one seem to know why or what was going on. This wasted over an hour and very frustrating. I recipted my change in registration 2 hours after I picked up my truck. Your inline service needs updated and monitor better

I had a terrible experience all around. My pickup location was changed and I was not notified. So on the day of I wasted my time and gas driving all over to get to my pickup location after going round and round with customer service. When I finally got to the pickup location it was a complete sheet of ice and not conducive to towing. The trailer itself was wet on the inside and so was covered with ice inside. I had to slip and slide to load my furniture inside and it was soaking wet when unloaded thanks to the ice inside. This was a terrible experience all around I will not be in a rush to use this service again.

The mobile drop off check in said that there was an orange box labeled U-haul for the keys. After searching the perimeter multiple times, there was not one to be found. I had to call the toll free u-haul number and they were not able to inform me of where the box was located and said that I would have to take the truck to an alternate uhaul location. I then saw that there was a slot on the building door where keys can be slid in. It was poorly labeled with small print and was not orange like the u-haul brand. It was a very frustrating experience.
