Not transparent on pricing, some fees not explained, will not rent from this place again. What is “rental charge?” Incredibly disappointed.

CLAUDIO LThe right headlight did not work on this truck. Truck had just under 1/4 tank when I picked it up. That's annoying. I was told to bring it back with the same amount of fuel in the tank. Which means I will be an annoyance to the next renter. Make sure there is at last 1/2 tank of fuel at time of pickup.
RICHARD DStaff were amazing, polite, very friendly. Considering I waited to the last minute to rent a truck, they had everything ready in less than 10 minutes. I will be renting from them again.

KHEMA WMy original pick up location was on San Jose where I have always picked up. You moved me to Compass because you could not guaranty the 15 foot truck at San Jose. This was a major inconvenience but we accepted the move. Mike, at Compass, was very nice and tried to be helpful. The truck was there and it was a good truck. The moving materials that I had pre-ordered and pre-paid for were not at this location and Mike had no idea where they were or how to get them. I had to buy boxes from Mike in addition to the $50 I had already paid you. The truck only had 1/4 tank of fuel so I immediately had to go refuel.

Howard GThe service at the location was excellent. The only thing that was an issue for me, was the fact that the front of the van, including the windshield, was covered with bug splatter. I got the van home and washed the windshield so I could see better and take care of my moving needs. The inside was not dirty, but it smelled funky. The van just had to be aired out, though and then it was fine. Overall, the pick up process was easy, because I checked in online, and so was the drop off. The attendant was really friendly, and attentive.
Eugenia NI was overcharged $60 for gas. The truck was returned on full and yet I was charged…. BAD business. I have photos and receipts and will be demanding my money back. Furthermore, the manager left a voicemail that had obscene curse words then blamed it on another customer. How unprofessional and rude.
Amanda DI would just say upon getting getting keys ask if you are a new customer then inform of where to park the U-Haul. Other than that OVERALL EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

There were some little pieces of rocks or something similar inside the truck that we didn't notice until we started loading our items into the truck. Returning the truck was easy experience. I would rent from this location again.

Janda RI was charged for another rental period because I passed 20 minutes the time scheduled. But it does not make any sense because I paid a rental price for 20 minutes more but I rent a car for 3 hours. If I could rent for 4 hours I wouldn’t payed any charge more.

Frank INeeded a short time rental to move stuff and this worked out fine for that need Not sure if I’d u haul for a long distance though as the mile rate is high but for this it was just the job and compass were helpful and efficient

Kayone TThe website let me select features that were not available at the location. The driver door has to be slammed hard to latch. Most disappointed in the lack of ramp and dolly that I added to my request. Never communicated to me that it will not be accommodated.
