My window handle was broken, I fixed it myself. The truck was parked in soft ground so when it was wet it got stuck in mud and we couldn't get out. No one was in the store 30 min after it was supposed to be open, at least not that we could tell. We had to call corporate to assist us, and after being delayed 1.5 hours we were not offered any discount compensation. Very unprofessional & lacking any compassion.

Had a billing issue due to incorrect fuel gauge on pick up. Contract stated full tank. When I picked it up it had 1/2 a tank. Customer service at this actual LOCATION IN TOWN was great. Customer service on your help line sucks, agent claimed it'd be handled and it was not. Came in, in person and the guy handled it professionally and quickly.

Truck was scheduled online for 24/7 pickup. The location never entered the trucks as ready so I was unable to pickup at my scheduled time. I had to wait until the location opened.

My experience started off by being told the place nearest my home didn’t have the truck I reserved. So then I had to drive to a different location several miles away, provided to me in an email. I go there at 8am, my reservation time and I see that there’s two trucks and a couple dropboxes on the side of a barber shop. The barber shop doesn’t open until 9am. So I wait until 9am only to find out that the barber is as clueless as I am as to how to actually use one of these trucks. Then I double check my email to see if there’s an information or instructions. Nope. Then I log onto the u-haul website and on there it tells me my reservation is for some place many more miles away on the complete opposite side of town. I drive there and they actually do have the truck I reserved. I voice my complaints and the guy completely ignores me. Then he tells me that he doesn’t have the hand truck I reserved and that if I want one I need to go to yet another location for the hand truck. I give up on that and just go home to finally load up the truck, now an hour and half later than I had planned. When I get there I see that there are no moving blankets in the back of the truck like I was there would be. Then I call uhauls customer service to voice my complaints and am on hold waiting for someone to actually answer the phone for about ~20 minutes. One way to look at that is to say that u-haul customer service line was busy, the other way to look at it is that U-Haul doesn’t value customer service enough to have the right amount of people at the call center to keep wait times down. The customer service rep was reasonable and offered me $50 as a consolation prize. Whatever. far the worst experience I’ve had with any company in many many years. I will never use U-Haul again and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure none of my friends or family use U-Haul.

This is the best U-Haul place in Jacksonville. The 3 I went to before this one where no help at all. They checked the inventory for and let me know when truck was going to be available. The others did not! The two Guys where fantastic.

The representative at the desk did not know how to do all the things on the computer and when I returned the vehicle I was in line for 45 minuets. Training is the key for customer service.

This is the 3rd time I have gone on and rented a truck only to show up and there not be a truck I rented. Calling customer service doesn't help because they are very rude and act like you are wasting their time. This last time I rented a truck online i recieved a phone call saying the location I choose did not have the truck i needed but another location did. She then placed me on hold while she called that location to confirm there was a truck. When she came back to the phone she said the truck was there and it would be ready for pickup at 1230. After getting to the location to pick the truck up the door was close with a sign on the door saying will return at 115. Waited in the parking lot until about ten after one when someone opened the door. Once inside was told there wasn't a truck available for me. Needless to say after 3 bad rental experiences with uhaul I will not be using uhaul again.
