I called this location 3 times to confirm my reservation but the phone just rang and rang. No one ever picked up, and no one called to confirm my reservation. Also, I had requested a furniture dolly to be included in my reservation. It was not included in the truck, and I was told by a representative that this location never has dollies. Why was I able to add this to the reservation then? Also, why did they never call to let me know that this was not included? I did an online chat with U-Haul, and they said they would send me to another location to pick up a dolly, and they would call me in 5-10 minutes to confirm this. However, I didn't get a call back for an hour. At that point I gave up on the dolly and had to load everything without it. The dolly would have been a huge help because my furniture was extremely heavy, and I ended up with some damage to my furniture because we were forced to drag it at times.

Vehicle's gas cap was defective and I was charged an additional $20 for "return after hours" even though the vehicle was returned on the same day. I could have easily returned it the next day when shop was open to avoid this fee but no one explained to me that there would be such a charge. I believe that such charge is unfair and should be reversed. Thank you

The keys are not in a box to pick up - so there shouldn't be an option to pick up the truck out of hours.

Poorly run shop. Told me they were open when they were closed. Major hassle including two trips to location several phone calls to UHaul to get truck. Bad experience!

bad cell service- so do not use this for mobile pickup - took a half hour just to get the site to work, all the while using my wife's phone to try as well.

The UHaul representatives were supportive, knowledgeable, and helpful. The UHaul app was clear and useful, except for taking a photo of the odometer and gas consumption when returning the rented van. The photo couldn't be taken and we finally gave up.

Hoy charged for wrong millage, got charged way too much for the whole thing, I used the van for one trip which was 53 miles, they charge me for 116 Miles, a trip that usual costs 110$ maybe less got charged $226 What? Called customer service, provide pictures of actual millage before and after, Gas tank was 3/4 full, overall didn't like the experience

I reserved a van in June and called to confirm the day before. When we went to pick up the van, it was not there. After a long wait, we were offered a box truck at the same rate as the van. While I appreciate this, we did not get what we wanted to have. Also, I rented this van for a non-profit organization and when I told the gentleman that I had a tax expemt form, he told me he could not help me with this - not an acceptable answer in my opinion.

was suppose to be 26 ft truck in Southampton ny @ 3:00 which never arrived. I had to pick up in East Hampton. I had to pay 2 workers to load truck 3 hrs for nothing. I ended up with a 20 ft truck,so I had to pay to throw away items that I couldn't put on the 20 ft truck. It cost me a extra $1500 total. This was the worse experience. Would never use U-Haul again

Way too crowded on the return...needed to find a spot to drop truck around back of the facility accessed from another street. They were closed but there were other drop off trucks sticking out into street from property.

Your telephone communication is rubbish. I called the main 1800 number to return the vehicle I rang 3 times very time the connection was put through it dropped the call. You have to realize that not all locations arent going to work all the time. For instance this time. You need to have a better response to a physical begin. Sad because my last uhaul was fab experience. Consumer tire has nothing to do with crap review. It the main part of this company.

Your computer system is a mess! You charged me for two extra days when my printed contract allows for 4 days and states clearly the return date and time. You changed the drop off location on me and in the pocess changed the allowable days without telling me. I spent over an hour on the phone waiting and talking to 2 different people who couldn't get the $43 extra charge reversed. You probably paid them more to not satisfy me than the $43! I cannot trust nor will I recommend your computer system nor your phone system. Get your customer service act together! This is not specific to the drop off location.

You could read the other Review I submitted and make necessary changes. Using the UHaul App was awful. It wasted 2 hrs of our time. You made us sit for 90 minutes, waiting to get a code to the key lockbox. Most businesses would offer a refund after such a bad experience. But not UHaul. Do you really care? Or have you gotten too big and indifferent?

Information regarding rates and additional charges needs to be stated explicitly. I was not told a fee of $30 would be charged in addition to the expensive price of gas charged by the dealer to refill the tank if I was able to do it. I had to contact UHaul HQ to argue for a refund of the $30 fee - which was finally given to me.
