I have no problem with the individual locations or their staff. The gentlemen helping me was fine. But Uhaul's on line reservation system is an unmitigated disaster. Twice a year I go on line and reserve a pickup at me nearest location, only to discover that that location has not had a pickup for months. I know now to call them and find out if they actually have the pickup I just reserved at their location, and inevitably there is some problem. I don't want to find out later that the closest pickup is 40 mile saway in another town.

I made a reservation for a company that was closer (around 1.3 miles from me) that supposedly had the equipment I needed and to save on miles. I was contacted the day of because the unit had not been returned...AND I found out that yhey DIDN'T have the additional equipment I asked for! Rather they were charging me for other items I had not ordered. They we kept trying to send me to another place where they had told me they did not have the needed equipment. Long story short I had to go across town for what I needed due to their error, was late getting started because of it, and paid for quite a few more miles than anticipated because of it. Then the guy who took my order was very unpleasant...not friendly or helpful at all!! Next time I'll just get a friend with a truck to help me!

Great job renting us the two trucks. They were of course gas hogs and there appeared to be a governor on the 10 ft that pegged at 75mph but otherwise these were both great trucks which gave us no problems at all.

The truck had a torn seat cover that was uncomfortable. The warning for a low tire was on constantly. When I reported this before leaving with the truck, I was told the sensor was messed up. When checking in through Uhaul.com/share, it was difficult to get a picture of the odometer because this warning sign came on within seconds of starting the truck!

Couldn't return products as I had no receipt. I paid with a credit card and the box of bubble wrap wasn't opened or used. Lost $25. Unable to use my full coverage for insurance so I had to pay. Other than that one employee was customer friendly @ all. Otherwise they're ok

I rented a 10 ft truck for a day to get lumber and pick up a mattress. On the way back to home after picking up the materials the truck began to overheat. The gauge was oscillating from normal to hot constantly. Then the gauge went all the way to hot and the message on the dash was to idle the vehicle. I decided to return to Conway U Storage after pulling over in a parking lot for a half hour and letting the engine cool. I was about a mile away from the facility at this time. I checked the coolant reservoir and it was empty. I drove the truck carefully to the facility and explained the situation to Jay who was on duty. He made a call to the company and subsequently got me another truck, pulled it behind my loaded truck so I could transfer the load. I completed my day rental without any further problems. I thank Jay for his handling of the situation and greatly appreciate what he did for me. I have used U-Haul many times and this was the first time I had any problems with any of their equipment.

I made a reservation at the beginning of the week for a move scheduled for Fri at 900am. I took off work hired movers and everything. So I get a call from the uhaul place at 900 saying that the truck they had set for me the person that dropped it off didn't leave the keys so they where tryin to get in touch with the customers before me and once they got a hold of someone they will give me a call back so I waited an hour after not hearing anything I called them back and I explain to them that I set a reservation last week for 9 AM pick up on Friday for a U-Haul to begin moving my things and they told me basically they couldn't do anything all I had to do was wait so I waited another hour and called them back and nobody steal could tell me anything they told me that they will look into it and give me a call back after I called him back for the fifth time but this time it was almost 2 PM the guy there told me he had just got to work he didn't know what was going on he will look into it with his supervisor and give me a call back I then asked him is he sure he's going to call back because I have been getting to run around all day and no one here call back he assured me that he would call back and he did call back about 10 minutes later by this time it's 215pm and he told me that they had a truck there for me to come pick up once I made it I asked is there some type of compensation that he could offer me for having a wait five hours I missed work and I had to pay workers by the hour and nobody started moving anything until after 230 he told me all he could offer was a weekday rate of $.79 a mile instead of me paying $.99 a mile he said he will speak to his manager and get back to me and I didn't hear anything else from them and they charge my card for the full amount no discount or anything. This was so terrible they gave me the run around alday and didn't offer any type of compensation or anything I had to ask and all they where willing to give was a discount on mileage I would not recommend rent from this place to any one.

Make sure your vehicle you rent to a customer has coolant in it, so the customer doesn't break down on the side of the road, because of the truck overheating.

When made our reservation about a week in advance, on the day we went to pick up the truck there were no trucks available! We had a whole apartment packed up ready to go. We finally were able to secure a truck through a few phone at 2850 Prince St. If it wasn't for this location, I'm really unsure about our move would have gotten done. We also would have lost on our three hours of helper time. This reservation system is faulty and I'm sure it has put people into bad situations. It needs to be more accurate it's stressful enough moving then have the extra pressure of not having the equipment you reserved.!

I was charged for going 6 miles over my estimate but told I couldn't be given credit for the extra 1/4 tank of gas you got. But you would have gladly charged me for being short gas! My 19.95 rental ended up costing close to $150.00. I'll think twice before using U-haul in the future.

The discrepancy with the rental reservation it was not there, then a truck became available and my husband and I were quoted a different price than what we were billed they overcharged us, spoke with a manager who saw the discrepancy in the price but still has yet to be compensated. Will never use uhaul again.

When I returned the truck I went to U-Haul.com/share and clicked on return. It would never load for me to return or would take me to another page where it wouldn't let me click return. So now I have to pay the extra $20 because the website wouldn't load. The location was great just a little frustrated that I followed the steps and since it didn't work I'm being charged more. Please ensure that gets fixed for future renters. Thank you

The employee was very nice and helpful, and the interior of the van was clean, but the exterior was covered in ice. What's more, it was my responsibility to remove it. I was supposed to leave with the van at 4:30, but I didn't leave until nearly 5 due to having to remove all the ice. I even had to pull over in a parking lot to remove the ice from the hood ) which is why the yellow tabs are gone from the hood - the ice took them with it). So the customer service was superb, the interior spotless, but I think it should be up to the business, not the customer, to remove the ice.

Reserved a cargo van when I came to pick up it was NOT available. Rented truck instead Major issue with the PSI in right front tire. I had to pull over off freeway 2 times. When I called in to ask what was happening the psi right front tire warning light displayed 34 to fill to 42. When I put air in it stayed at 34 then when got back on freeway it was 56 When I called again the u hual rental worker "said yeah that happens and could not assure me the truck was safe to drive at 70mph. So I had no choice but to drive on a over inflated tire. When I made it back driving 50 mph They acted like it was no big deal and said AFTER the cold can affect the digital display but I was not told this befre I left The right front tire was NOT at proper psi when I left I will NECER use u haul again NOR will I ever recommend The staff was not interested in my safety at ALL. I had to return early without beginning able to do what I rented the truck to begin with. It was a waste of 92 dollars and my time, A having to deal with vehicle issues. I am 59 years old and have back issues and they put me in a situation where I did have the knowledge or ability to fix your company truck. To make things worse they knew of the problem ahead of time and even said they need to call U-Haul about . I will never use this company again and will post my experience on my social media platforms to warn people that U-Haul does not take your safety

The place was fine. But u haul ph number was horrible service first of all I could not get checked in online and it was a glitch in the system it took over an hour for us to be able just to get the vehicle then Upon returning the same problem was not able to complete it wouldn't take a picture that was a clear picture so upon being told it's going to be over an hour wait we ended up just leaving the keys I would never recommend online with you all again and then lastly I get an email stating that I owe more which is fine if that's the case but instead of taking it off of the card that you already had on file it didn't I called the place that I rented it from and they tell me they can't accept the payment so then I have to call that one 800 U-Haul number again so wait over an hour still no response and I'm just trying to pay the bill but I don't understand why it didn't get paid in the first place

On my request for rental of truck and equipment, I ordered a certain number of blankets, a furniture dolly, and a utility dolly. When I arrived, they only had half the number of blankets I asked for and they didn't have a furniture dolly available. It would be nice if when ordering items for rental, that they were actually there when picking up rental equipment. I really needed the items I ordered and really struggled because I was not able to get what I ordered.

If someone reserves a certain size truck, you shouldn't change their reservation. With these size trucks, some folks may not be comfortable with the larger trucks. Also, the person at the pick up location should be able to change reservations.

It is very upsetting how y'all can take $20.00 from customers when you pay your employees to do the work to make sure they have the right equipment sure it was part of the deposit but that $20.00 could break someone or take food out of their kids mouth they might not have any internet to do it did y'all think of that

The customer service representative told me to make sure I checked the vehicle in online to avoid additional check in costs but he failed to mention that I would need to take photos of the milage and gas gauge inside the truck. It would have been very easy to communicate this info when he told me about online check-in. I had already locked the truck and put the keys in the dropbox when I tried to check the vehicle back in so I was unable to capture the required photos and ended up getting charged the check-in fee.
