The lights on the trailer did not work spent 45 minutes trying to get the lights to work. Attendant had a tester and found that the signal was getting through from the truck so then got a different trailer and found this trailer lights were working. So they gave me that trailer the lights worked. Attendant was helpful.

Make sure the trucks are clean and the most important thing if a customer drop off a truck without full tank, go and fill it up for the next client instead of saying you got this much and return it with this much fuel. Your going to charge that poor sucker for leaving less gas and charge them a fortune but won't fill it up for the next person.

Only thing I can think of is being able to use debit would be a help. But I understand that is not a uhaul controllable factor.

The truck can was filthy. The truck is in desperate need of a wheel alignment. I reserved a utility dolly, which I did not get and was still charged for. When I called to have this corrected, I was unable to reach a human being, left a message about it and never got called back. Not happy with this reservation.

I arrived late and could not check in with my phone. I phoned Uhaul and they kept trying to make me connect to the internet on the phone I was using. They were not helpful. I had to drop the truck and keys and then phone Uhaul again, then return to the location in the morning to finalize my check out. The on line checkout series of requests was unreasonable. The location and staff at Cooper were fine. My beef is with Uhaul

Clean snow buildup from the windshield from the previous day of snow..about 3 months ago the location at riverside drive started up the truck and drove it to the front entrance..I was surprised and thankful :) otherwise the whole rental experience was awesome..friendly staff :)

I had preordered the trailer more than a week in advance and was informed the day before the pick up that no trailer was available in Calgary and that I would have to go to Drumheller over 100 miles out of my way to get the trailer. Fortunately we were able to locate one in Red Deer which was on the way. Overall pretty poor service to expect a customer to go several hundred kilometres out of their way because U-Haul couldn’t get their act together Don Brown

The lady was great and genuinely wanted to help but she said there's nothing she can do on her end about my deposit and gas credit. This was a bit frustrating as I had to go back there 3x just to learn it takes 5 busines days??? That's really upsetting it was not mentioned in the beginning. It would've saved me 2 trips there. Also on long weekends posting hours to accommodate drop offs would be nice. Also letting people know there's an online option b4 the keys are in the box lol.

The equipment is left uncovered outside. I was using an auto transport and when I picked it up it was covered in snow and ice. I needed to remove this to safely load my vehicle and access the straps hidden under a couple inches of ice. They provided virtually no service. I had to hitch up the trailer myself when it would have been super useful to have a spotter to help me backup the uhaul truck. They did not offer to explain the equipment or give advise on how to use the autotransport. I am thankful that the operator of the Gasoline Alley location had previously offered to assist me in loading the vehicle.

Upon arrival I was not able to pick up my truck due to a error of the keys not being left, customer service via phone call was very quick to help me out and arrange for me to get the truck first thing in the morning next day, upon arriving next morning staff was very apologetic and made sure my pick up was smooth and quick. Although there was a slight inconvenience originally everything worked out great. Great service both in store and over phone.

Cooper Roofing was excellent. Uhaul online was not, I booked a uhaul on the southeast end of the city. You guys sent me to the northwest, cash grab all the way, just extra mileage for you guys.

Make sure the trailers do not have tons of snow under the undercarriage from the last use. Not sure how it could be inspected when before/after use in this condition. Maybe offer spotters when customers park trailers. Put some real tie down points inside trailers in useful locations. Rent cargo nets that fit into the trailers on the tie down points.

This specific uhaul is the best in Red Deer! Clean vehicles, friendly staff, fantastic location! Is there anything better than a smooth moving experience? And if they don't have what you need, they try their best to find you something somewhere else! Highly recommend!

Make after hours drop off instruction clear. There are none. I logged into the website like it says on the box to follow directions. Except there aren't any. I would have fought an extra day charge if the shop opened later than my return time in the morning. It had nothing to do with the place I dropped it off, as they have NO control over the website. the people at Cooper Roofing were great.

Easiest check in and out, the only thing is they don't take debit cards. You can get money at the truck stop beside them, but it cost 3.50 a transaction. Otherwise awesome. Thank you.

Trailer pick up locations, if not located as requested, should come with a discounted fee. If you think about it, people are moving from a location to another, they choose the closets location to make that accommodating. If you send them to a different location , you’re not really providing them the service they require.

I originally booked with the 61 st location for 9 am … but they do not open till10 on Sundays!!! care to explain how this happened??!! I call the location on 67th and they were very helpful and had the truck warming up for me. Thank you 67th location your a life saver!!

This is the third time I rented from this location and it is always a pleasure dealing with them. Upon pickup my trailer had a couple lights not working and a few other concerns for my 8.5 hr drive. They quickly corrected my concerns by giving me a trailer that was in good working order and said they would have the other one repaired.

I ordered a 6x12 cargo trailer and the best they could give me is a 4x8 tiny coffin on wheels. This made moving incredibly difficult. If I book something I expect something close to what I ordered instead of having to make 5 additional trips which ended up costing me way more in fuel. This was a huge inconvenience and I don’t think I’ll be considering a trailer rental from U-Haul in the future. This left a very sour taste in my mouth

They charged me 2 times today for the return. One charge included a cleaning charge from the previous rental, both with different gas quantities. I've called 2x and emailed to have one of the charges reversed and no reply.

the rates you charge are ridiculous if I rented one in party sound for 7 days and returned it to party sound it would have costed me under 500 bucks and in 7 days I could have drove to Alberta and back and put 7000 kms on your trailer but instead I wanted to rent one in drumheller Alberta but you didn't have one there so I had to drive 3 hours round trip to red deer Alberta to get one and you charged me 990.00 from red deer Alberta to parry sound Ontario twice the price and I only put 3000 kms on your trailer you guys got the better end of that deal I feel ripped off

Everything was great except the pick up location of the trailer. The yard was extremely wet, which is not a big deal, however the puddles around our truck were up to our ankles. Disappointing to start a day of moving with soaking wet feet. Would have been appreciated if the trailer was put in the paved lot for pickup. Very much appreciated, though, that our invoice was adjusted to a shorter time when we returned the trailer early! Thank you!
