They’re very professional
Dale CThe staff there told me I have to reserve online to save $9.99 fee. The online system showed the vehicle was ready for pick up but the staff there kept telling me their system showed my reservation is in process. I called customer service and was immediately redirected to a line that was not picked up for 10 minutes. After an hour at the gas station I lost my patience and paid the $9.99 fee, which did not show up on my invoice, to reserve the vehicle. I called customer service to ask whether it is customary to charge additional service fee for in-person reservation, no answer. The staff rented us a van with 1/4 of the gas tank full and asked us to return the truck with the same amount of gas. My husband said we used to have full-tanked vehicles in the past, but they won't budge. We did not use up all the gas we purchased at the gas station. Overall, very, very poor experience. I don't think I will ever rent another vehicle at this location ever again.
Mengxiao LInside of van was dirty but the bigger issue was no help from the people on site. They said I had to use the app or else they would charge more to help. App worked slowly especially loading photos. I essentially became a U-Haul employee having to photograph the whole van inside and out with a slow app. Had to re-enter all of my information which I had already done at the time of making the reservation. Terrible experience. Never again!
Ken BOnline check in and out was a bit of work but now that I know the process it would be easier next time. The folks at the site helped us when we were not sure how to finish check in!
Dennis B.I signed up to use an “applicable dolly” because we were moving a refrigerator. I was very disappointed to find out there wasn’t one available with the truck. I was also charged $10.00 for it which I should have refunded to me since I didn’t even get to use one.

Asif AThe person giving me the key was no help. It took me almost an hour to get the because I had to everything online. The fuel gauge on the app said it was full but was closer to 3/4. When put gas in it took 8+ gallons. I only drove 24 miles so that would have been 3 miles to the gallon. I told the attendant and he said he could not help. I also got a call from uhaul stating I never picked up the truck, when I had it for over an hour. They said no contact was signed. I would like to have half of money refunded to me for all of the trouble and putting in more gas than I should have. Ron Burda
Ron BWhen arrived at the service station, the online system wasn't working and the store attendant couldn't assist. Waited three hours until the store manager came. Horrible experience sitting at a gas station for three hours. Returned the vehicle a day earlier and was still charged for the extra day. Never again.
Jean KThe Uhaul website wasn't working correctly for me to check in for my reservation (kept looping back to login). Additionally, whoever dropped off the Van didn't include the add on's I'd selected. However, the clerk at the location was very kind and helped me get everything straightened out.

The odometer reading was 10 miles off but the store would not adjust my mileage, said I’ll need to call customer service to get it adjusted

PETER APerson at the store not familiar with rental process. Also, the moving blankets/furniture pads I pad for were not present. U-Haul is unresponsive. Can't get ahold of anyone for a refund of that line item cost they didn't provide. Also, the virtual approval process is way too long. This should occur before I show up to pick up the moving truck.
Karl YTook 1 hour and finally had to call customer service because I couldn't do self check in and the gentleman behind the counter was of zero help. It was obvious the van wasn't cleaned or even looked at. The check engine light and low tire pressure lights came on abt a mile down the road. I did call to report it as I didn't want to be responsible for something I didn't do. Upon return, another employee quickly helped w check out process. He was very knowledgable! I will not use this Uhaul location nor recommend it to anyone.

MARVINS EI found the online checkin to be confusing and time consuming. There will be people that can not navigate this and you will lose business because of it in my opinion. The owner of the station I picked it up from was no help and just kept saying it had to be done online only.
Lisa WThe entire procedure to pick up was not acceptable. The owner argued with me even after I showed him that I did do an online check in. It took over 30 minutes with the shop owner & uhaul on the phone before we were allowed to have the key. It was frustrating and very inconvenient and messed up the rest of the day. I will never rent u-haul again. Drop off was much easier.

Joseph tWaited for agent to arrive for at least 5 min. Told him I was having an issue with the app. He told me to wait and took care of 2 other people, then put me on the phone with UHaul. His demeanor was neither helpful or friendly. Have used this location before and agent unfriendly that time as well. When I filled up with gas, went to a different gas station because I will not use his location for U-Haul or gas again. Will go where they have some concept of customer service.
Cheryl BWhile helpful the guy that rented me the truck was rude. Check engine light was on, I told the guy he said its fine drive it anyway. When I went to pull out it seemed like the accelerator was stuck as the tires spun out. I had to jam on the brakes and put it park. Tried it again and it was fine. While braking it seemed like the brakes wanted to lock up. We got our move accomplished but it was scary driving this truck.
MARK GHe kept telling me I wasn't checked in, but I could barely understand him. He was much more interested in helping the gas station customers than in helping me. He ended up handing me his office phone to complete the check in process with Uhaul and with Coronavirus raging, I was a little uncomfortable putting the phone to my ear and my mouth.

Anthony GMy complaint is with UHaul corporate and scheduling--not the gas station location. Originally scheduled for Hellertown PA pick up 8AM--rec'd text message to go to Coopersburg PA @ 9AM to get vehicle. Call UHaul 1-800 to try and find a truck closer than Coopersburg--4 dealerships in Easton PA only 15 minutes away from me. Get passed from person to person with "you called the wrong office" response as the UHaul 1-800 number rolls to around the country if one office busy. After speaking with at least 6 different reps, , I give up and resign myself to having to go to Coopersburg PA.. Saturday morning--now I am an hour behind schedule and it's 20 minutes further away. Lose another hour round trip to location. Get to Coopersburg and attendant tries to be helpful, but is confused as they are only "local rental, not one way" dealership. He has to call UHaul customer service to sort it out. Man at Coopersburg very courteous and apologetic for all the confusion and issues. Brand new truck with only 89 miles on it delivered to the Coopersburg location overnight by UHaul. Why couldn't Uhaul have delivered the truck to Hellertown dealership??? Why make me run around? This is my second horror story with Uhaul corporate and scheduling. My last reservation has the same problems--they redirected me to a Mini Storage location in Bethlehem PA for the truck---supposedly open until 5PM on a Friday. I get there at 4:15 and place locked up tight. I called Uhaul to complain--they had to track the owner down and send him back to open up so I could get the truck. Then I had to wait 15-20 minutes so he could reboot his computers to do the paperwork. Then his printer jammed. I ultimately had to get the contract by email after I left the location. Sort it out Uhaul--don't make me the victim of your poor management and scheduling.

Linda HThey had a hard time getting the paperwork together. It took while to get the truck, and I didn’t know, and was surprised to learn, that there was no loading ramp. Overall I was quite satisfied and got the job done.

Michael GI didn’t use the amount of miles I estimated but I still had to pay for it. You should make it clear that the customer has to pay the projected mile even if they go under it. So besides ripping me off everything was ok.

Dell SWe needed a U-Haul last minute for our move. We called US Gas because they are right up the street and our experience with them was great! They were very friendly and accommodating. The truck was very clean and we were offered to have them sweep it out if necessary- but there was no need for that. The process was explained to us in detail and all of our questions were answered thoroughly. I would definitely recommend this location! I would say though that not every U-Haul location allows pick ups/ drop offs at a different location- you should call and ask first if you are in need of that service to prevent any confusion. It is not the locations fault if you did not double check their procedure with them. Thank you Asif for all your help and it was a pleasure working with you and your wife!!

I had already checked in the truck online and my ride already left so I had to sit on the phone with your customer service team for about 20 minutes in the pouring rain until they convinced the location to take the key from me.

Steven THorrible. The owner of the business was horrible. Got in my face and start yelling at me cause I asked if he could please throw out a bottle for me. And was trying to fight me. I would never in my life rent from them again. And honestly I’ll be making a complaint. As well as I’ll be asking for my money back. Writing a review on better business bureau to. He should not be letting people rent uhual. Acting completely unprofessional. I returned the truck 6 hours early. He absolutely ruined my whole experience. I can’t believe it
