The truck was extremely run down. A folded up napkin held the headlight in place. The ac vents fell out while driving. Most importantly every-time I needed to start it, my husband had to mess with the battery connections or else it wouldn’t start. I really should be asking for a refund but next time I need to rent something it won’t be from U-Haul

VERONICA OI was told by the representative when I picked up the truck that it would be noisy. I got about a mile away from my destination and my Uhaul broke down in the middle of the intersection! The location was closed so I called roadside assistance. They sent a repairman who told me they NEVER should have rented me that truck due to the maintenance history and that someone RIGGED the transmission! He called for a tow truck to being it to my place but the movers had already been waiting an extra hour and they couldn't stay to unload the truck! I had to wait till the next day for movers to come back, they charged me another 2 hours minimum and I had to take an extra day off work. Once they finished I had to call roadside assistance again to have the truck towed away. The next day, the store manager had the nerve to call me and ask why I hadn't returned the truck. When I politely told him off he said "oh nevermind " and hung up. Ive been trying to get reimbursed for this tragedy for days and noone has called me back! Uhaul, I want my money back ASAP!

SEAN WI booked at 10ft truck but when I got to the store I was told there was only a 15 ft truck. I was told I would get the 15ft for the same price as the 10ft but I have been billed for a 15ft truck !! PLEASE REFUND ME THE MONEY
RUSSELL BI was charged for gas but I returned it as I rented out.I didnt ask for safe move but it was added to my invoice without my permission automatically.

MICHELLE PThe man expecting the drop off called me super early in the morning reminding me of my drop off location. Which was not the issue of the reminder, the issue was my truck wasn't supposed to be returned until 8pm. He called at 8am. The location was a little sketchy, parking was very limited, and the location was locked so i just had to drop the key in the drop box. I overlooked the drop box.

MARGAN FThe store owner was unnecessarily rude despite the fact I waited for him to finish his Islamic prayers. He gave the impression I was bothering him. This location should not allowed to run uhual renting. After I returned the truck, I literally have to plead with him to come inspect the truck before I leave and acknowledge everything is okay including the gas and that we used 24 miles instead of the anticipated 50 miles we have. The gas tank guage was wrong but we filled it up.

jaime zThe location is across the street from a U-Haul office so it is very confusing and it is not clearly visible. The truck was not well maintained (side mirror not adjustable, driver seat can’t move farther back). The worst : I received an email from U-Haul almost a week after I returned the tuck (used it for 3hrs and retuned it as instructed ) saying that the truck was unaccounted for… almost got called thief… unacceptable, I will not go back to this location ever.

CRISTIAN RThe rental location was dingy and cramped. No moving supplies to help with. The blankets rented had been washed and bagged still damp. They were musty. We could not use them. The cab of the truck was dirty. Low gas to start the rental. Worst part was we were rented a truck with a broken right mirror. They had wrapped it in duct tape but it was pointed down. It was extremely dangerous and frustrating, sometimes scary. Truck should never have been rented to our family.

GEREMEY GTake away their ability to rent out equipment. The owner is rude, refuses to take responsibility for his own actions, and does not pay attention to detail. We returned the truck same day we rented it, and he called a week later accusing us of stealing the truck. Pretty sure he rented it out without looking and just decided to blame us. His shop stinks and is messy, he is rude and terrible to deal with. U-Haul company was great and dealt with the situation beautifully, hate this location and will go literally anywhere else.

Timothy HShut down this location altogether. The clerk at this U-Haul Neighborhood store (non u-haul) was rude and unprofessional in demeanor before I began speaking, which in turn made me return his same energy. The information i received online for my reservation was misleading and not transparent to the actual location when I went to pick up my reservation. I know U-haul's protocol is to put a charge hold on my card for the equipment and insurance until I return the vehicle and then you guys charge me for the mileage used later on. Instead of paying the initial upfront cost for the equipment and insurance, the clerk also charged me for estimated mileage in addition up front as well, which I would later come to find I used the vehicle more than the mileage I gave to the clerk. I gave him a small estimate so I could at least run my debit card that ended up overdrafting my bank account just to get the transaction to go through because I only had the funds available on hand for what was calculated on the estimate. I used the vehicle to transport steel supplies for temporary work, which my friend (his own small business) supplied me the funds I needed afterwards. And also this location charged a mileage rate higher than U-haul's by $0.20 at $0.89/mile instead of U-haul's $0.69/mile. Zero transparency on this experience and I've been a longtime user of U-haul. I will still use U-haul in the future but now only at actual U-haul stores.

Sean WMy rental was 30.00 dollars and when getting there to get the truck it was 30.00 extra dollars and I did not get a cent of my money refunded to my account what a rip off !! People do what they want and don’t except consequences are lawsuits behind your money

Cameila EDont charge customer for insurance. Offer it!! Read the odometer. Don't put any numbers in. I was overcharged for mileage. Go and read the odometer. Don't guess it. I was overcharged. A lot. I didn't even have the truck 3 hours.

I was never told that I had to be at the location within 30 minutes of the reservation time or the reservation would be cancelled.
katie fMy contract was transferred to another location. The man who owned the store added extra charges on my bill. I declined certain services and he added them into the charge. I had to stand firm to get him to do the right thing. I will never use your services again, nor will I recommend anyone to go pick up a truck from UHAUL

The Truck AC wasn't work , (Houston weather was 106 degrees) Inside the truck was 120 + Poor customer service at this location, Open late (9:00 AM ) and closed early (3:00PM)
