When I got to this location there was no one there to check out the vehicle,couldn’t get a receipt saying I dropped the trailer,just had to drop in an open yard and hope that it would be there the next day when personnel came in to process account

Tony SService was great, and booking was easy. The equipment looked well maintained, however, once we we on the highway, one of the tires seemed to be off balance. We had several motorists wave us down to say there was an issue with one of the tires. I did communicate the issue to the drop off location for further inspection.

Kirk BI will never pick up a U-haul rental at this location again! I was overcharged for mileage and for gas fill-up! When I first contracted to rent a 15-ft truck, I was offered a special rate(69 cents per km), because I would have to use a next-larger truck. However, when I arrived at Cormack Esso, I had to take delivery of a 26-ft truck(more gas usage). Because I was not believed at Cormack Esso I was charged $1.09 per km, and charging for 465km instead of 463.9km! To sum up, I was overcharged a total of $220.76 for rental, plus extra gas because of truck size(maybe an inspector could check the pumps at Cormack Esso as well)!
Gerald BI was charged a $20 “After hours service fee”. I have no idea why I was charged this surprise fee. I brought the trailer back early, and yet was charged this $20 fee. U-Haul has yet to respond to my complaint regarding this issue.
Francis WCommunication was a little but difficult due to a language barrier. His english was not good.

Faron HDirty truck, low oil, washer fluid low. Gas cap very difficult to remove. Ruined mattresses and box springs due to dirt in truck.

Bond DConnection to Uhaul would not allow self return and dealer was having trouble accessing their site. Took over 30 minutes to complete the return, die to no fault of the dealer. He was terrific, the online system was problematic for both the dealer and I.
Jonathan HEquipment was clean, was not ready for 24 hour pickup. Upon arrival I checked in on the phone and when found the truck was locked I went onside where the attendant tried to convince me that I had npt selected 24 hour pickup. Even though I was few minutes later than planned, I still had to wait for rental supplies to be found and the truck needed to be boosted. Even after running the engine couple hours the truck barely managed to start. So we ran it for the whole time other than once when it was shut off inadvertently. Fortunately I was moving in town and schedule was not critical I could utilize the truck but it would be big problem for someone in a hurry or using where they could not leave it running.
Mark CWhen picking up vehicle,(from different location that I had reserved) staff member did not go over contract with me and had in correct charges and drop off location. I was told I would be getting extra miles free of charge for having to drive farther to get the vehicle. Did not have a full tank of gas and no windshield wash. When driving on the highway at night in the rain the wiper came off vehicle and I had to put it back on.

Todd PI am extremely disappointed with U-Haul. I had reserved a 10’ truck and ended up with a 26’. It costed me an extra 200$ to put the truck on the ferry from Newfoundland to Nova Scotia, and costed me an extra +\- $500 in gas for the 2000km I had to drive. The truck was big and I felt very vulnerable.

Frank WStaff didn't seem to know what the procedure was. Took a long time to get organized. Internet connection is not great, so filling out or submitting docs was difficult. The equipment we ordered was available. We were "upgraded" to a MUCH larger truck, and told we should talk to UHAUL for a rebate. Location said they are not UHAUL and could do nothing for us. At the other end when we dropped off we were told the pick up location was the only place that could have provided any kind of rebate or compensation.
