Reserved a week ahead, was called the morning of pick-up to come in early to do the rep “a solid” because he wanted to leave. Called to confirm check-in/return no answer, so didn’t want to drive after hauling that day, came to return the next am at 7 and was told I’d be charged for 2 days. So double charged after being told to come in early and told that the only U-Haul rep was leaving work early and he’s the only person that could rent the trailer. Somehow that was my fault after reserving days in advance.

They did not have the dollys that I paid for. I was sent to another location down the road to get the dolly’s and they also did not have the dolly’s I paid for.

DOUGLAS RI got charged $70 for fuel when I left it with a quarter of a tank, just the way I got it. CS filed a complaint with the store and they never responded!

There were blankets thrown into the back of the truck and when I questioned it with the staff inside the person I was talking with started the conversation very aggressively, like I did something wrong. He calmed down once I fully explained what was going on but not a good way to start a conversation with a customer.

There were drug dealers and prostitution around . The 7-11 literally had only one u hall in the parking lot .

BRYAN TI didn't realize the uhaul store I used was not a real uhaul store but a sub contractor run out of a convenience store. None of the staff knew how to use the app and it kept crashing. I won't do this again.

Alberto FI was sent to a location that I needed to use the app. which I knew nothing about, it did not work on my phone, but the employee helped me through the process, with out him I would not have been able to get the truck. I made the reservation at a location much closer to where I was staying, with real people to get me my truck. I am 68 and a lot of my generation are not App. savvy, so it is frustrating for us to use the App. process. My camera was not able to take a picture of my license, tried 3 times, employee had to use his to complete process. If it wasn't for the employee I wouldn't have been able to complete the process and get the truck. I have an iPhone. The employee was very helpful, but I was surprised at where I was picking up the truck, I thought I was going to a U-haul location. If my wife hadn't seen a u-haul truck parked by the convince store, I might still be looking for the place, my truck was parked in the back of the convince store. Not what I was expecting for sure.
MICHAEL NThis was my first time renting a truck offsite. I didn't realize the rental experience would start at a convenience store. That was my fault for not renting from a Uhaul site. The clerk at the convenience store was extremely nice and helpful. The problem initiated when using Uhaul website/app where it took 45 min to access and confirm my reservation. Then when I got to the truck, the old truck was beat up with dents on a few locations and dirty. It ran really rough, made loud noises and the dashboard light was on. I've rented from Uhaul in the past and always had a positive experience. This experience was below average so I will never rent a Uhaul truck outside a Uhaul lot ever again.
Tara CI was stinky to cigarette the truck and I had a very bad experience with the application and the website, too slow, it was too much, and I wouldn't let myself finish both the pick up and the drop off and the service in Spanish too much waiting on the line for a representative to answer the call. if possible I would never rent their services again.

Scott DU-Haul transferred my truck to a different location. The location I got could not pick up at the counter. Had to do a lockbox. Spent 1 hour trying to get my keys. Unacceptable. Very bad business practice.

Brandi TBeing able to pickup my reservation took an extremely long time as my information had been done incorrectly. Although the representatives at Corner Express were helpful and nice. The representatives at uhual location on McDowell and 24th and whoever they spoke to on the phone with were very degrading. They spoke ill about me(the customer) and I was within listening distance. I will absolutely do my best to avoid uhual for future moving needs. Super confusing experience and not all employees are on the same page in regards to policies and transparency.
