Better customer services... I understand that there are policies in place, but having representatives that can work with you on specific matters would be very beneficial and would result in better customer experience. I called UHaul at its 1-800 number to explain to them that I will be about 15 minutes late because I had to unload my last batch. At the time, I was only giving UHaul a courtesy call because I didn't know how long it was going to take. There was a high probability that I could've completed the job on time, but there were some risks that could've resulted in the need of the extra few minutes. As I was speaking to the representative, she could not empathize or understand that I needed a very small grace period to drop off the truck. I didn't understand what the issue was with her and UHaul's policy, but I didn't think an extra 15 minutes would've resulted in paying for an extra full day for the truck. I completed the initial transaction (the pickup) online and was going to complete the final transaction (the return) online, so why an issue for a small delay? It's not like i had to walk in a business where every thing is closed. IT WAS ONLINE... She (the UHaul rep) kept informing me that she "could only do what the system allows her to do" and that she "is only putting my request in the system for the extra time." She stated that paying an extra $68 is the only way I can keep the truck after my original return time. I find that hard to believe that a business would give people, especially around the holiday season, a hard time for a small grace period to return the truck. You could've charge me a late fee for every 15 minutes I was late on the return, but don't charge me a full day for a little extra time. I'm pretty sure there are policies in place to understand the consumers concerns and not to enforce punitive fees for a few extra minutes. This was UNBELIEVABLE and I was highly disappointed. AND on top of my frustration with the UHaul rep, she had the audacity to wish me a "Merry Christmas". At least apologize about not allowing a 15 minute grace period. Don't add a snarky Merry Christmas after hearing my frustration on the possibilty being a little late BTW, I didn't need the extra 15 minutes. I returned the Uhaul on time. As stated previously, the call was only for courtesy in case I was running late because of traffic, mechanical problems or some other issues that could've came up... AND UHaul wanted to charge me an extra day ($68) for the possibility of being late. "Merry Christmas"!

This location cares little about the UHaul experience!! On top of being an 'Out of town' location, the agent charged me for gasoline even though I checked that I had fueled it to the 'pick up locations' level. Not happy.

The local U-HAUL manager was fantastic over phone although the Cornwell Market employees were not helpful and seemed as though rentals are not important. Truck had a lot of miles and vibrated a lot over 40MPH.

It may have been because the “Uhaul people” were not there ( only there until noon, I was there at three) and the store person (owner?) didn’t think he had room for another trailer but he did let me drop it off (if I could find a place and do it myself). Thank you for that but he was crabby and seemed put out. Said he hadn’t heard from UHaul that I was coming.

When I showed up to drop off at the Country Store, a man met me on the porch and asked me if this was my designated drop off location. When I said yes, he pointed to the side of the building and said to go ahead and drop it off in the field and call U-Haul to tell them I dropped it off. No one helped me as I struggled to get the trailer off the hitch.

The U Haul rep that helped us was very nice. He attached the tow dolly to the 15 foot truck after we loaded it and away we went.

Drop off was unpleasant. Employee was not interested in taking return. “No one told me about it”, he said in an angry manner. He did no inspection, or paper work. Told me to park the trailer and left me to it.

Did not like your paperless checkin process. The employee tried to do it on an iPad but we had to move inside for him to do it on a laptop. Then I was charged for 12 blankets that I had reserved but opted not to take. He supposedly removed them from the order, but the electronic receipt still charged me for them. And I didn't receive the receipt until Imhad already left the location. Go back to using the old system, it was more reliable.

The location is very shady looking. You are behind a store that’s connected to an old house that looks abandoned. I know a lady would not go there alone. On the bright side, the truck and service by Mike was excellent.

Nothing! Michael Plant your area field manager who we dealt with was great. He was very welcoming, informative, and had a great sense of humor. Couldn't have asked for a better person to deal with during our move. As anyone knows who has moved in the past, it can be a stressful time. Yet, Mr. Plant was an exemplary employee and started our move off with a smile. Never met Mr. Plant until the day of our move but he made a lasting impression on both my wife and I.

The location was not the problem it was the reservation process and have to talk to 5 different people before I could find out where I could pick up my trailer. It had to have been the worst experience I have ever had with many years of renting with UHaul between my business and personal use. I felt like no one wanted to handle my call and kept passing me to another person then when I did get someone competent to ask a question she made my reservation but couldn’t tell me where to pick up the trailer. She forced me to receive an email then call a scheduler to find out where I could pick up a trailer. Horrible service and I will never rent any equipment from UHaul in Florida ever again, even if I have to pay more for another companies equipment the experience here in Northern Florida was the worst and unprofessional organization I have dealt with off any UHaul franchises. Was not willing to alert U-haul that I returned the vehicle, which I returned a day early(Dec 24th), and not I got charged for an extra day which I alerted customer service with no response.

I love the fact that the Owner calls to check on me , I have rented twice from this location and the first time was such an awesome experience that when we had more stuff to move we called and reserved there again !! I hope he does a great deal of business because he is sure worthy of it !!!!!

Man on duty did not speak English, did not look at my paperwork and made take the trailer around back of a building by myself and unhook it - by myself! Never would I ever believe a man would be so rude to a woman. This guy was a horrible representation of your company! I was so mad I drove down to the uhaul location in Ponte Vedra and told the lady there what happened. She took a picture of my paperwork just Incase the guy didn’t record that I returned the trailer. Btw - lady in Ponte Vedra is very helpful and nice. I’ve been to her location on three different occasions

The location was fine with the Auto Carrier, but the auto had oversized tires and would not fit on the carrier. This created a problem converting from one-way drop to return to the pick-up location (still unresolved). I had to call (904) 781-9404 and the person was unhelpful and rude. Moving is stressful, but this conduct from your "customer service" was unnecessary. I would rate this person a ZERO...very poor!

Close by easy drop off local rep Mike very helpful. Truck shocks were extremely tight rough ride, did some damage to my equipment on 15 hour drive down. Newer trucks are not as smooth a ride as the old ones.Felt every bump.

When I attempted to return my trailer to my preferred location, Which I had originally requested when making. My reservation, i was told they could not accept it. I would have to return it to a different location, miles away. There was no individual there to “check” me in, verifying my return of the trailer in good condition. It was simply a “drop and go” location. I found my experience with u-haul to be anything but customer oriented. Requesting to pick up or drop off equipment at a specified location was meaningless. I was required to pick up and drop off at locations required by U-Haul. In addition, I was lied to when told I could drop off at ANY location. I will look for an alternative equipment rental place next time!

Very convenient location. The truck was spotless. Easy and painless pickup and drop off. Overall cost of my move was under $200 and could not have been easier.

This location needs to be removed from uHaul’s list. We completed an online reservation including checkin, and my husband had to wait on the clerk for well over an hour and teach him how to use his own computer system. This location does not speak English and does not understand the rental process. This was the worst experience we have ever had. We had a busy move schedule and wasted almost 2 hours trying to pick up the trailer.

Rentals are an afterthought for the business. Everything went fine but the person there just seemed disinterested or annoyed that he had to deal with the rental.

If someone chooses the closest location to them for a uhaul. Don't call the following day and say the size truck is not available and send them to somewhere completely out of the way. I had to go opposite way from me. So then I pay more for filling gas and miles out my way. Don't have it online to reserve Olay that location if it's not available

Two time tack wouldn't take trailer back wtf they are u haul drop off. Had to drive to cromwells to drop off...got grief that I should have called u haul from the first drop off to get them to take it........come on I don't want to spend my day dealing with this.

Had to wait 30 minutes. For the person who handles rentals to come from shopping next door at dollar general store. Other person in store did not know how. The rental person had a hard time putting it on my vehicle because the trailer tie down was rusty and hard to lock it.

We have never had this negative of an experience! We have rented 20 Uhauls in the past 8 years but this was the worst. We were asked to take this UHaul 30+ minutes out of our way because the first place claimed they were "full"!

I was overcharged for everything. I ended up being charged $144 on a $60 quote. I was charged for miles I never drove, at a higher rate than I was quoted. I was charged for a dolly I was never given. (They specifically told me they had no dollies). If I don't get a full refund I'm going to file criminal charges. And Ryder just gained a lifetime customer.

Truck was on empty when I rented it, the guy at the counter was very hard to understand. I rented two dollies with truck and waited 5 min for him to bring them out and do an inspection of truck that never happened. I had to go back into store to get the dollies and when I asked where the nearest gas station was so I could put gas into truck he sent me 10 miles up the road with an old truck below the red line. This place is terrible the location is dirty, there was only 1 truck there and it seemed like it was on its last leg. Terrible experience probably the worst I have ever had with a moving company and I have moved around 15 times in my life.

The agent was friendly and professional but had difficulty speaking the English language clearly. Not his fault though, as he was from Asian decent. He is a very nice gentleman and we were able to communicate Ok.
