No one was there or answered the phone even after waiting an hour past opening time. The ground is very uneven making disconnecting the trailer difficult. I don't ever want to go back there again. It was an awful experience.Philip S.

I was supposed to drop off at a Uhaul place on Isabella in Copperhill and they weren't open. Said they opened at 9a and at 9:30 no one was still there so I had to change drop locations.Craig S.

The truck was dirty inside (sticky in the cab). The staff were rude and unhelpful. Would not let me check out contact free. were inaccurate with their fuel logging when i checked it out by about 1/8th of a tank off. Both seemed inconvenienced by my need for a Uhaul.amber L.

Confirmed and reserved 20' truck, not available. Not the pick up location fault in that UHaul did not notify me that location did not have my reserved truck. Location was very helpful in getting me the larger 26' truck.Robert D M.

Representatives were not helpful. Asked about different dolly and was told, it's closed out we can't change it. Weren't concerned about the visible damage to vehicle- you've got insurance, don't worry. They were mad because uhaul wants them open at 9am and they don't want to open until 10am. The people here were incredibly rude. I was greeted as if I were trespassing on their property. The woman working there put on her fake smile and moved things along but the man was intentionally obtuse, would not directly answer my question when I asked if this was where I could pick up my trailer. He then ignored me and played with his dog until he was obligated to go outside and hook up the trailer. It was an overall uncomfortable experience.Jeremiah B.

The right tail light did not function at first. It turned out that the connector to the light was unplugged. Easy to fix, but hard to get to. Seemed like there should have been a clip on the connector to hold it on.Andrew S.

I have had my truck for 10+ years and hook up my three personal trailers all the time and never damaged my truck. When I picked up the uhaul in Copperhill TN the owner/manager directed me backing and 'BAM' he backed me into the trailer leaving a dent in the bumper cover. They were unfriendly even before the crash. They acted like the were doing me a favor by helping me.Deon C.

Everytime I've called U-haul I spend at least 30-45 minutes listening to most annoying music and worthless recordings. Eight times this past month, wasted 3-4 hrs total. I keep telling my self this is the last time. From now on, if I cant speak direct with u-haul dealer I wont do business w/ u-haul!THOMAS B.

I was vacationing in the area and needed a trailer to get home with everything more comfortably so the car wouldn't be so crowded. When I arrived at the location and introduced myself and said that I was there to p/u my reservation...they barely acknowledged that I was speaking. I handed the lady my DL & credit card...it seemed to be taking forever. I mentioned that I was going to go outside and take the cargo tray off of my car and install the hitch and it would take me a minute due to the locking hitch pin being a little tricky...again..no acknowledgement that I was talking. When I came back inside my credit card and DL were sitting on the counter where they had other customers purchasing fireworks. I signed the contract - she stuffed it in a tri-fold cover and handed it to me...again with out saying anything. I got in my car and drove over to the trailer - the gentleman came out without saying anything and stood at the trailer as I was backing up - he did motion with his hands to keep coming back and when to stop, he picked the trailer up and dropped it on the hitch ball and walked away as I was stepping out of the car...again without saying anything. He did not help attach the chains, he did not plug in the lights, he did not offer to check that the brake lights and turn signals were working before I pulled out. I was a U-Haul dealer at my former storage job in Winter Haven 33881 for over 10 years, we had a 5 star rating (the highest in the area). 1) We ALWAYS greeted the customer in a friendly manner, and ALWAYS had a lot of repeat customers, and 100% positive feedback on reviews. 2) We ALWAYS did the hookup, had the customer get in the vehicle and check brake lights and turn signals. 3) We ALWAYS reviewed the contract with the customer and circled the 800# for help if they needed it on the road (nobody wants to figure that out when they are in a panic on the side of the road if something goes wrong. 4)We ALWAYS thanked the customer and told them to have a good trip. 5) It DOES NOT take 45 minutes to rent a trailer - especially if the reservation is already in the system and it is a returning customer with all information in the system...this is a 10 minute transaction on the worst of days - even while making small talk or multitasking and answering the phone etc. Did I get the trailer I needed? Yes Did it work for what I needed? ? Yes Were the people friendly, accommodating, welcoming or appreciative? Definitely NOT! Would I go here again? Only if I couldn't get what I wanted at another location.Deborah R.

2nd. time to drop off here. Strange folks here, I guess they inspect the truck after you leave. I had to ask the questions on how to return the truck. I think it would be wise to take pictures of the truck before you leave this place. I wish there was another location closer to Ducktown.David R.
Get people with better customer service. I was told that they would try to fit my reservation in if they had time. I was told that their firework sales came first. Then it took over a hour to get the truck and was running way behind. I'm not happy with the service at all. If possible I would like to have atleast a portion of the money backWILLIAM B.

I am glad that I ignored the post about this location. It is a shame that some people want to harm hard working business. I was very impressed with my uhaul experience. Mr Robinson was pleasant, professional and very efficient. I had the truck, and was on my way in a short time. If you are in need of a uhaul truck in Ducktown, Copperhill, or the area, I recommend the location in Ducktown on hwy 68 at Cougar Drive. Frank Talley, a happy customer.Frank T.

When we arrived at this location the man did not ask us for our reservation confirmation number. He said he had only 1 reservations on his screen. He processed this and we gave him our credit card. We were then charged for the wrong persons account. We where charge almost $1,400! For the WRONG uhaul! He redid ours and we then proceeded to receive the proper uhaul. But we now have to wait 3-5 days to recieve the original mistake money back into our account. This was a huge inconvenience for our family.Andrea R.

I was promised I would not be charged anything extra after I had gotten stuck because for some reason not all rentals don't have 4wd and call for the roadside assistance and yes paid extra for the insurance, well they couldn't get out there until the next day to pull it out well that was not my fault and they still are trying to charge me for everything past the day I was supposed to return it when I was promised they would not charge me for anything extra!Natalie D.
